19 Baby

Kade was back at the scorched plains where the dead human and basilisk lay.

Kade followed the scent past the basilisk and realized the dead human was laying directly in the path of the scent he was tracking. After walking out of the clearing and back into the forest, kade only pasted several trees before he came Upon a woman completely frozen in stone with a tightly wrapped bundle in her arms.

kade felt great remorse in him as he could tell the newborn baby wasn't crying and was as still as could be , from the looks of things the woman had given birth right infornt of the basilisks nest that was hidden in the ground partly under a tree. After the baby was born in the woman's weakness the basilisk must have petrified her wile she was unaware.

Kade walked over and looked at the babys face and something snaped like a lock Breaking a memory overwhelmed his mind. kade was a human in magnificent purple armor standing far in the sky with a baby in one hand that he automatically knew was his son, and before he could even get a good look at the child's face a blade peirced through his chest.

Kade awoke from his stupor panting and let out a howl of remorse that made all the mortal beasts shiver uncontrollably within a 100 mile radius.

After calming down kade looked at the baby once again and what he saw gave him a bit of a fright, the baby was no longer still he could see its chest moving up and down taking im little breaths. The baby was still not makeing a single sound but with intelligent bright green eyes that no baby should posses at its young age looked directly at kade with sadness and a tears rolling down its cheak as if it saw exactly what he did and felt the pain of kade losing his life and losing his child not knowing if his son was dead or alive.

Kade didnt know if a giant wolf was qualified to raise a child even so kade moved his paw forword transforming it into a human hand and gently picking up the child that was only half the size of his hand makeing his alredy giant body seem humongous. he placed the green eyed baby on his back and walked away into the forest.
