19 Breaking up

Although I'm back in country M for a week already but I still couldn't find time to meet Lincoln.He's too busy finding information about Dream Night.Another reason why was I unable to meet him was because he doesn't know that I'm here.

"Hello Lincoln.It's me."

"Hello Yoo Rim-ah.How are you?I'm so sorry for not calling you.I've been very busy."

"Lin,there's something I want to tell you.You don't need to rush to finish up your work."

"Why?"

"Because I'm already in Country M.You can meet me anytime.I'm staying here for good because my training had already finished."

"Really.You don't know how happy I felt now.I was in a hurry to finish up my work and now you're here.Looks like I could relax a little."

"Don't overwork yourself ok.Are you free this afternoon?Let's have lunch.I miss you."

"Sure.I'll meet you at XX Café nearmy uncle's office.It's more convenient.Are you ok with it?"

"Yeah sure.Your workload must be a lot since you're unable to walk away for long."

"Hmm.There's a lot of suspicious informations about Dream Night.I need time to verify those informations."

"Owh then you better continue working.I'll see you during lunch."

"Alright.By the way,I miss you too."

I couldn't stop blushing after hearing what he said.I thought he didn't hear what I've said to him.I felt so lucky that Lincoln is my boyfriend.Although we couldn't reveal our status to the public but I'm happy as long as I can be with him.

With Yoo Rim back in the country,I couldn't help but feels like a huge headache is coming.I couldn't get to spend more time with Elizabeth.After meeting Elizabeth.I realized that Yoo Rim was just a temporary distraction.She's not the one that I want to spend the rest of my life with.At times I felt like she was too demanding unlike Elizabeth.

During lunch,

"Yoo Rim there's something I need to tell you."

"What is it???"

"After coming back to country M,I realize that we are not suitable together.So I would like to break

up with you."

"Why?Am I too clingy?Have you forgotten all the memories we had in Korea?"

"No it's not your fault.I realize that I'm actually in love with someone else.And you're just a

temporary distraction.It seems like I could only see you as a little sister."

"If I'm just a temporary distraction why did you treat me so well in Korea?Why did you give me hope?Did you know that I've been longing for someone that could love me and pamper me because my parents were unable to do so?"

"I'm really sorry Yoo Rim.I know even I said a thousand times sorry it would still unable to mend your broken heart or washed away your dissapoinment."

"It true that your sorry couldn't change anything.I will never forgive you for the rest of my life."

She said those words as she stormed out of the café.I will not chase after her because I already have enough workload in the office and I don't need an extra baggage.I need to return to Elizabath as a free man so that I could court her.

2 hours later,

"Lincoln you bastard.How could you do this to Yoo Rim?Don't you know how much she loves you?"

I almost jumped out of my seat when Elizabeth barged into my office.

"I don't love her anymore that's why I broke up with her.I admit that it's my fault for giving her hopes.But I happen to fall for someone else after coming back to Country M."

"But still it can't explain why do you suddenly want to break up with Yoo Rim?Do you know how happy she was when she was telling me about how good you were to her the other day?Now you decide to hurt her."

"I've got no choice.If I want to court the girl I like I must return to her as a free man or else she won't accept me."

"I've never seen such a terrible guy like you.Is that girl worth for you to sacrifice Yoo Rim's love for you?"

"Yes it's a thousand times worth Yoo Rim's love,She's beautiful,hardworking and she's a passionate person when it comes to friendship."

"Ok if you say so then I couldn't stop you then.I hope that you will be able to court the girl that you want to."

Before Elizabeth manage to walk away.I back hugged her.

"Elizabeth don't you realize that the person I like is you.I thought I've been giving you obvious hint."

"Lincoln let go of me.I'm not ready to date yet.And I'm not willing to steal my best friend's boyfriend.I'm not that shameless."

"Please just give me a chance.I've liked you since young but you have never paid attention to me."

"That's because I only sees you as a friend.I might not be able to forgive myself if I steal my best friend's boyfriend.I really can't do it Lincoln.I don't want to hurt Yoo Rim.She have always looked up to me as her role model.There's no way I would do this to her."

"It's ok.Take your time to think.I know that one day you will accept me.I'm willing to wait for that

day."

"If you could find someone else while waiting for me then be with her.It's not like I need a boyfriend so desperately."

"No,I will never like anyone else other than you.Every guy in the Zhang family only fall for one person in their whole life.Well Yoo Rim was a mistake but you are the one for me."

"Whatever you want to think,I'll let you believe in it.But I hope that you won't force me to love you because forced love can never get anywhere."

"Of course I wouldn't.I would court you until the day you're willing to be my woman."

"I need to leave now because I still need to comfort Yoo Rim.Goodbye."

"Goodbye.Be safe on your way home."

Finally I've confessed my feelings to Elizabeth.This is just the starting Eli.I will make you fall head over heels for me like what you did to me.
