16 Meeting Her

"Hello Elizabeth.Remember me?"

"Who are you?"

"Try and take a guess.I'm someone you know from the past."

"Are you Lincoln?"

"Yes it's me.I thought you still couldn't remember me.Luckily you did."

"Omg it's really you.How did you get my number?When did you return?Why are you back?I thought you said that you didn't want to come back anymore."

"It's because of Uncle Richard.He ask me to come back to help him with something and little did I know that it was related to you."

"Related to me?"

"Yeah you ask my uncle to help you investigate a company called Dream Night right?"

"Yeah did you get anything yet."

"I've gotten nothing yet but can we meet up at a café nearby Uncle Richard's office.The one that we use to go to when we were young."

"Alright I'll meet you there in 30 minutes."

It's been so long since I've last seen Elizabeth.I wonder how she looks now.As I walk to the café,I look around the area and see a lot of changes especially the facilities around here.It feels good to be back to my home town.I went in the café and order a cup of americano while waiting for Elizabeth to arrive.30 minutes later,the door bell of the café chimes and a pretty lady walked in.My heart tells me that it must be Elizabeth but I don't want to assume.As she walks towards me,I couldn't help but feels nervous.My heart starts thumping wildly.

'No Lincoln you have a girlfriend already.She's just a childhood crush.'

"Hello Lincoln.You didn't seem to change much I see."

"Umm..Hi.So you are really Elizabeth.You have changed so much that I could barely recognized you anymore.You look even prettier now.I still remember how shabby you looks when we were young."

"Hahaha your sense of humor doesn't seems to disappear.Of course people change as they grow.I heard from Uncle Richard that you've already gotten yourself a girlfriend."

"Yeah I found her in Korea.Her name is Kang Yoo Rim.I met her when I was wandering on the streets as I couldn't find my way back to the hotel that I was staying.She's an exchange student from our country."

"I think I know her but I couldn't really confirm it.Do you have a picture of her?Can I see her picture if you have one?"

"Here of course."

"Omg it's really her.She's my best friend in high school but she went to Korea as an exchange student.This is a very small world.Who would have thought that I could find her back after losing contact with her for so long."

"Who would have thought that I would be the one to help you guys reunite.Here this is her contact number."

"Thank you so much.But you really couldn't get any information yet about Dream Night?"

"I've actually gotten quite a lot of information already but I don't want to say it on the phone

because I'm worried that someone bugged your phone."

"Owh I thought that you really couldn't find anything yet.But I've forgotten that you are the best hacker in the country."

We continue to talk about a lot of things until we didn't realize the time.When I look at my watch it's already 3 pm.

"Owh it's so late already.I've almost forgotten that I have to meet Uncle Richard to show him the things that I've found.I'm glad to see you again Elizabeth.It's so nice to talk to you again.I hope that we will meet again soon."

"I think we will meet again soon because I'm helping out in the case since I want to get justice for Luo Yang's death.He's someone very important and dear to me."

When she said that I couldn't help but feel uneasy.I don't understand why I have that kind of feelings.I just couldn't help it.I want her to only care for me not other people.But who could I blame if she fall in love with another person when she never knows that I have feelings towards her.
