114 TRAVIS'S MISERY PT 2

Jeff who was silently listening to his big brother felt something stirring up inside him maybe the overwhelming emotions or maybe all those insecurities he never let anyone see.

Tara was definitely his weak point but more than Tara for him Travis was important, from the childhood only his eldest brother only lost his near and dear ones first his parents then Tara after that their grandfather too.

The man never gained anything it was true that the underworld feared him like devil but it was just one side of the coin but on the other side he was lonely...he was alone in this whole world.

"Jeff...you remember when Tara was hospitalized after coming back from Australia" Travis sudden voice startled Jeff.

"Hmm..." Jeff just hummed in answer.

"That day I was feeling so helpless...I wanted to see her so badly I just wanted to hold her hands that day and tell her that I am just beside you and I will not let anything happen to you...when our men in the hospital told me about her deteriorating health the thoughts of Ma and Dad's accident was haunting me...the only thought that was tearing my heart apart was what if I lost her too...what if I can never see her again...but that day too I was helpless I can't see my own sister just to save her from any further dangers..." Travis eyes were welling up with tears again.

"Bro...it's enough...let's sit" Jeff held his elder brothers hand and both the brothers sat on the bed.

"I know bro how you feel...she is my sister too...but we can't do anything about it...we are dangerous people in the eyes of the world...no matter what the reason was but now we are Kings who rule underworld...and you know the king have to sacrifice the most to save his people and Kingdom" Jeff patted his brother hands softly.

"Bro when Tara was entering the most sacred stage of her life, the puberty we were preparing for joining the underworld we were never able to understand what small changes were taking place in her life...we were unable to understand her determination when she joined the company we just saw her extreme love for her brother...we were never able to appreciate her buisness sense we just curse the reason why she joined the company...but Sid did!! He did all the things we were supposed to do" Jeff looked at his brother with a soft smile.

"Bro...we can never compare ourselves with Sid...he was the only man Tara believed more than herself... because he deserved this belief of hers ...he never left her to save her like we did...he was always with her through thick and thin....so please stop being like this....and support her like you always did....don't try to become Sid in her life...just be her big bro...that's enough!!" Jeff said in a strict voice and left the room to give Travis some time to think and decide.
