111 Who Was Mr. X?

The woman stared at the photo and shook her head. " I know all the people here and we are only few. That woman is too beautiful and looks elegant. There's no one like her here. "

"Someone had brought her here a while ago. And it looks like she was in this house. " The officer told her.

The brows of the woman creased. "Mr. X never brought another woman here."

"Who is Mr. X? " The officer cotinued.

"I don't know his real name. I am only hired as a caretaker of this house for many years. He never talked to me except about those things related to the care of this house." The woman seriously answered.

As the interrogation went on, Jim's thought drifted far away. His dad had another woman? Had she been his woman before her mom died? Did they have children who could be his step - siblings?

If only Jia's life would not be at stake in the hands of her dad, this case would have been easy to solve. He could have easily pointed him out and could have easily provided them the leads. However, he was afraid that if his father would be traced and arrested, he would be enraged and harm Jia, instead.

The interrogation went well and the woman was convinced amicably to let them search into the house. Jia was not there. They searched for possible underground shelter but there was none.

Inside one of the rooms that was left opened, there was no single trace of Jia. There were neither things she left which could possibly confirm that she was brought inside this house.

As they were all going out, Jim suddenly thought of something. He excused himself and asked permission to use the bathroom. His heart thumped wildly. Right, she must had used the bathroom!

He then looked inside the trash can. And there he saw something that confirmed his suspicion, a rolled, white pantyliner!

In that last morning at the hotel where they stayed, when Jia was done with her packing and morning shower, he caught her midway towards the bed. She was too alluring to look at with just a skimpy, white towel around her body. He lifted her up, pinned her to the bed and executed his last moments of bliss with her.

When finally done, she went back to the bathroom to wash. Then, she called him out and asked for a pantyliner inside her bag. He wondered why. He knew that she seldom used panty shields due to her fear of urinary tract infection. Was she suddenly having her period? No, it should not be! Little Jiana must be created in this place.

"Its for my discharges due to the crime you make. "She laughed and he understood.

He smiled at the thought of how she lovingly allowed him to indulge on the sweet pleasure of the feast she could host as a submissive wife to a husband. And how she was forced to use a panty shield.

After a while, Jim came out of the house with red eyes. Anthon glanced at him and he became worried . He understood that Jim was far weaker than himself. He observed him through his silence. He could feel that he was breaking in too much grief and fear.

An hour ago, when they got the news about this place, his weary face instantly became expectant. But now, he could almost see his soul leaving out of his body.

"Take it easy, Jim. Who else could she hope for a rescue if you will allow yourself to get broken? "

This statement was a slap to his own defeat and pain but he could not deny these words to comfort the man who also cared for the woman he also treasured. Sooner or later, he must learn to accept the fact that there was no longer any hope for him and Jia. And that she already belonged to someone else.

If he could extend his help and any form of assistance to any of her friends and relatives, how much more to a man whose trouble was about the woman he also cared about. Her loss today was also shattering him into pieces and filled his heart with so much fear. But he was not as weak and pessimistic as Jim. Perhaps because, Jia had not been with him physically.

Who could have done this to Jia and why? What did she do to enrage a person to this extent? If this was a kidnap - for - ransom case knowing that Jim came from a high, social status, Jim could have received already a call for their demand. But until now, there was none.

The officer who interviewed the woman thanked her after they all came out from the house. And then he asked about something else.

" What do you mean when you said that Mr. X had not brought another woman? Does it mean that he has a woman and occasionally bring her here? "

Jim and Anthon stared her. The question caught their interest.

"No, she lived here but died many years ago." The woman plainly answered. She, perhaps, never thought her answers may be used as evidence or lead to the ongoing investigation.

"How many times a year does he come here? " The officer went on digging a little deeper.

"Sometimes, once or three times a year."

"When did he last come here? "

"Three months ago, I think. "

The investigation led nowhere so the team decided to leave. Jim intentionally left behind as he pretended to fix the loosened ties on his shoes. He, then, hurriedly showed the woman a photo of his dad he had scanned while the interview was going on.

"Is this Mr. X? " He asked while staring into her wrinkled face.
