102 This Seems Not Righ

Their booking include a tour to El Nido's famous big and small lagoons and beaches. It was not only about making a tour, it was also about enjoying the nature's hidden magnificent beauty within the Bacuit Bay.

The Big Lagoon's tranquil turquoise-green waters of its orchid-lined limestone walls, showcase a kaleidoscope of marine life. It had been said that scientists believed that these lagoons were actually caves which abound in these islands. The roofs of these caves must have collapsed millions of years ago, and these lagoons have emerged in their stead.

The Secret Lagoon  is located in a small island surrounded by limestone karst cliffs. As one enter into a small hole, he will see a massive caldera that was once a cave which collapsed and now is surrounded by karst cliffs. In the middle is a lagoon.

The sceneries were too breathtaking and refreshing, a stark contrast against the busy and noisy streets of the big city. One could not ever imagine that such paradise still exist today.

"Sweetheart, can we come back here someday with Jian?" Jia said, having been overwhelmed by the unmarred display of God's handiwork.

"Sure. Not only Jian, but also Little Jian and Little Jianna."

She laughed at the mention of Little Jianna. Of course, she was eager to give birth to Jim's own offspring.

"Yes, Little Jianna."

Before she could say something else, Jim captured her lips. The clear emerald waters , the corals and the limestone cliffs were all their witnesses as both of their lips danced and entwined according to the rhythm of their hearts overflowing with so much love for each other.

The tour guide and the boat man did not dare to turn their heads again towards them. Only the two of them understood their feelings.

"Let us not leave this place without creating Little Jianna." Jim said, reluctant to release her lips.

"What? It's already the tenth day from my ovulation period!" She said, laughing.

"You're taking note of your ovulation period? " Jim wondered.

" I just have counted the days." She got excited as well.

"Who knows you have miscalculated? " Jim insisted as hope lingered into his mind.

Suddenly, Jim kept silent for a while. He seemed to have remembered something.

"Jia, did you know that dad wanted me to send you away? " He then told her about the details of the plan.

"Actually, I sent you away here to, mainly, learn the business. And also because I wanted to send you away from dad's claws. I don't want him to trouble you while I am on duty. Who knew you had other plans? Can you imagine dad's anger if he'd knew about this?"

"What if your dad is right after all? You have not been exposed, indeed, to other women. What if they are more exciting to be with?" Jia's answers were somewhat out of the line to Jim's ear.

She went ahead. "What if you have given Dr. Grace a chance? You have the same profession and both of your statuses match aside from that research thing. She's beautiful and your family would be very proud of her."

"Most of all, you did not give her a chance to show how much and how well she can love."

A hand suddenly covered her mouth."Stop that nonsense! Don't let it ruin my day."

Their day had been a succession of tours to different lagoons and beaches. On a beach stopover, there were group of men who just came up from snorkeling. All of them were still holding their sets of snorkeling gears and underwater cameras. They were loudly laughing and chatting. And it looked like they were on a company outing and were really having a good time.

Their attention was then caught by a familiar built of a woman in a black and teal rashguards. She was occupied in unpacking something in her hands which looked like a camera. They also noticed that someone was assisting her all the time and looked like they were a good couple.

Once opened, the man placed it in a camera tripods and soon they were taking intimate poses. Group picture taking followed.

The couple took different angles on different views happily until they got closer to them. To their surprise, it was Dr. Grace.

"Look, Jim, she has a boyfriend. She has replaced you? " Jia exclaimed in a hushed voice.

"Then, I'm happy for her. That way, she won't pester around me anymore." Jim was surprised as well. He still remembered her awful reaction when she saw them kissing under the tree by the beach last night.

Dr. Grace finally noticed them. "Miss Wayne, Dr. Jim...you're also here."

"Yes. Glad to see you as well." Jim casually said.

"Hailey, look! " The man called her attention as he somewhat showed her a photo which seemed like being just captured.

"Hailey? " Jia and Jim squinted.

"Sounds familiar. " Jim looked like he was in deep thought.

"Dr. John, please meet my...my friends. Dr. & Miss Wayne. They are over here for a honeymoon."

Dr. Aijohn walked closer to them with a big smile. He then extended a hand to shake with them.

"Hello, Dr. & Miss Wayne! Nice to meet you."

"Likewise. Nice to meet you!"

Dr. Aijohn suddenly stared at them and squinted his eyes.

"Wayne... You are the son of Mr..Phyllis Wayne? Training for fellowship in Cardiology with Dr. Grace? " Dr. Aijohn pinched his chin.

"Yes. " Jim confirmed.

"Just married? " Dr. Aijohn seemed confused.

"Yes. " Jim confirmed again while shifting his gaze to the three of them.

"This seems not right!" He then clamped an arm over to Dr. Grace and started turning away. But, he suddenly, looked over his shoulder and said, "please, excuse us.."

Dr. Grace also looked back at them with a confused stare. Were there things going on behind her back?

Dr. Aijohn's enthusiasm suddenly died down. He turned off the cam, put it back on the case then lifted up the tripod. He pushed back the collapsible legs and placed it as well inside a black case.
