5 Arc 1. Fierce

[Day two Start]

I wake up to simple darkness calling out to Scarlet I return to investigating my character. {hey don't humans have a place for the wounded?}

[yes but your character's parents hate you]

{what? Why?! Who are they?}

With that it's clear I'm not getting anymore information. As I look around I figure out I can open my eyes. Though my whole body is in pain looking around I am simply awake at a dark time. Painfully and slowly I pull off my shirt to inspect my wounds. A box glows showing the numbers 6:45.

There is a noise nearby and I hear thumping as they come closer then a door opens and I can see a youth staring at me from the doorway. For a second the person looks at me blankly. Then they freak out, running back out closing the door.

I go into my room and simply stare at the other person in my room for a second. Surprisingly they have a rather toned body and a strange absence of wounds. They didn't look hurt in the least. After a second I realize what I'm doing and dash out. "Why am I observing how attractive a random man I'm only now meeting is!".

It took a while but I finally returned to my room gathered my clothing and went to school. There isn't any issue beyond finding who hurt him though. As I searched I found a few things. First of all his name is Atriel, a weird but nice name. He has always been causing trouble, just his last bout of problem spawning actually threw people over the edge. Once I started investigating why his parents didn't help things got fuzzy. I couldn't get a straight answer.

Once I return home I start to take care of him. While I took care of him I learned he is a rather funny but definitely mischievous individual. Strangely enough he could move quite well for someone who was injured as badly as he was. Though I didn't want to ruin the conversation I had to ask.

"Why is it that your parents didn't want anyone to know of your injuries?" Luckily he didn't seem to mind and answered rather amicably. Unfortunately I didn't quite like the answer.

"That's because they sent me here secretly"

He went to explain that his parents are rather powerful people unfortunately his mother wanted to get rid of him as he was the eldest but born to a different woman. His father cared for his previous mother but the stepmother brought light to his(father's) world after her death. She cared for him and at this point he bent to her every whim. Despite the fact that they totally isolated him he loved his father and younger brother. Currently his only issue was the mother but he started something to combat her himself. I could tell he omitted a few details but this was the overall story. {the fact that he's working hard to live on his own and build up a life despite his mother is so...

{OMG do I like him!?} this wasn't going to end well but I hope we can stay friends. However I need to see if I can do something to tear down the awful woman. We talked for a while then went to bed.
