2 Childhood and Brotherhood

By the way, my exams are closing in, and If I stop writing for about a week or so, then do think that I have dropped this or my other novels. It's just that I will be in my exams week and need to study.

From the sky, an almighty light passed downwards and descended towards the planet Earth.

In a speed far beyond what the human eye can see, the almighty light collided with the ground before it quickly dispersed, leaving behind a sleeping infant...

The streets were not busy and people's attentions were all in different places, causing them to not notice this strange and sudden phenomenon.

The infant laid on the cold ground in a fetal position with his eyes closed, while a couple walked towards the sleeping infant with a worried and shocked expression.

"Oh my god, Ben, how could someone do such a thing! The poor child..." spoke a voice that seemed to be a woman.

"What has the world become..."

another voice spoke which seemed to be a man before the owner of the voice looked around in a sad yet hopeful expression, but as he looked around, his face slowly turned grim before he turned back towards the woman and spoke;

"I don't see anybody around that looks like his parent..."

Hearing this, the woman's expression saddened with disappointment before her face turned into one of determination as she held the infant close to her chest and pressed him against her before she spoke;

"Ben... how about we adopt him..."

Hearing her sudden comment, the middle aged man turned towards his wife in a surprised manner before he quickly calmed down and asked in a serious tone;

"Are you really sure, May? I-I mean we can take him to an orphanage or at a hospital at least..."

May turned towards her husband before she spoke in a light tone;

"Yes, I am... I-I mean Richard and Mary, they already have a child... But we, we were unable to have one... So I just thought that, ...maybe this is some kind of a sign or fate..."

May then looked at Ben's eyes with her puppy eyes, causing the man to sigh in defeat as he took a step back before walking towards the woman and infant duo.

Ben then held May's shoulder before he spoke;

"If you really want to adopt him, I will not argue with you any further. But we should take him to a hospital before we get a certificate of adoption for him..."

Hearing her husband agree, May slowly jumped in joy as her happy face shone through the street, causing Ben to chuckle before he received a kiss to the cheek before May clung on his arm while carefully holding the infant with her other arm.

The couple then walked towards their car before they drove off to the local hospital in order to check for any possible diseases or allergies their newly adopted child could have. You know how the saying goes, better be safe than sorry.

A doctor took the infant from May before she placed him on top of a thin bed before she checked the infant's body with various medical devices for a bit (ya know listening to the heartbeat, looking inside the ear and mouth and blah), before she nodded in satisfaction and took out a syringe in order to take a blood sample from the infant in order to analyze if he had anything wrong with himself.

But unknown to everybody, just before the doctor inserted her syringe, a dark matter that was as small as a bean inside the infant's body discharged a red substance that looked like blood, which got sucked into the syringe as the doctor pulled the plastic part on the back.

As the syringe was inserted, the infant cried and moved around in pain, but he was unable to get away due to him being nothing more than an infant which had his arm held by a grown up ( the doctor held his body while holding his arm because he is an infant and his limbs are quite small).

The doctor then took the syringe out before quickly bandaging the stung part. Then she told May that it was alright to pick him up and that she should put a bit of pressure onto the place where the infant had been stung in order to prevent possible bruising, which May quickly did before she spoke baby language towards the crying infant along with funny faces in order to calm him down, which actually worked as the infant began to quiet down before he began to laugh around as he stretched his limbs towards May's face.

This caused May, Ben, and the doctor whom was dripping the blood sample inside a glass tube to laugh and chuckle towards the infant's expression and behavior.

After some procedures, writing, and dressing up the infant thanks to the kind staff from the hospital, the Parker's exited the hospital as they took a breath of relief after the doctor said that she will contact them when the results from the tests arrived, and they had nothing to worry about as the infant was healthy and he had no serious diseases or anything of the sort.

The Parker's then entered their old, green car before they drove towards that place where people go to when they wish to adopt a child (yes, I do not know).

They then had to fill out various applications and documents before they were asked several questions and stuff, such as why adopt, or where did you find this infant...

The couple answered to those questions truthfully before they had to fill out even more applications and send a couple of e-mails to various places.

Normally, the procedure to adopt a child is far more complex and takes months, but because the place where the Parker's live is a peaceful and trustworthy place, they managed to successfully adopt their new child. And after a heated discussion, they decided to named him [Diego]. Also It's because for the sake of the story and a bit fast progression + this is my plot armor bitch, I am the Author [REEEE-WUUURRAAIIITTOOO]!!

The new family headed home after a tiring day of signing applications and documents. May played with Diego before she made a small yet comfortable bed for him to sleep on while Ben went out once again to get baby biscuits and lots of milk.

A day passed before they notified Richard and Mary about their foster child Diego, which the two then congratulated Ben and May and wished them best of lucks before they discussed about other subjects while Diego was munching on a plastic duck which made quacking and squeaking noises.

Unknown to everyone, while Diego was munching on the plastic duck, his "Egyptian Blue / Gray" eyes turned and distorted between the color black and white for a while before his eyes changed back into his regular color and shape.

Meanwhile May and Mary were discussing about their sons and were very excited since Mary and Richard were going to visit Ben and May soon, and they would be bringing their baby boy Peter alongside them. They were excited and happy because they wondered what would happen when Peter met Diego and imagined a scene where the two babies would play around idiotically while letting out baby noises.

Tomorrow the trio arrived and the Parker family united into one while celebrating their union and the addition of a new person to their family. Ben opened up the barbecue before he started flipping different kinds of meat around as Richard had a bottle of beer in his hand and was chatting with Ben while he cooked the food.

May and Mary were happily discussing about various girly matters while they placed the plates to the wooden table in their backyard while sometimes taking a peek to the two babies playing together.

Peter was trying to crawl around, but he could only roll around as Diego stood on top of him while he was poking Peter's face with a stupid smile. The two infants managed to quickly bond during their weird actions, as they were now touching each other's faces and hands with their stupid baby expressions before they quickly got bored and wobbled towards the plastic duck and started to play with it.

The whole family enjoyed the day together before they went to sleep for the night. Tomorrow afternoon, Richard, Mary, and Peter said their goodbyes to the Ben family before they drove off.

Months passed, followed by Years. Peter and his family visited Diego and his family quite often, and even dropped Peter off at some times, which caused Peter to fully bond with Diego.

In a casual and normal day, when Richard and Mary dropped Peter at Ben's house for a day or two because of their jobs, it all went wrong...

The plane which they took in order to travel to some conference had malfunctioned and had crashed down, leaving no survivors...

When the news reached Ben and May, the two were devastated as they had just lost close members of their families... They remembered all those fun times they had with each other...

May passed out on the couch while Ben turned towards Peter, whom was happily playing around with Diego. Ben pondered about what to say to Peter, and felt sorrow for the small child as his watery eyes dripped down on the floor.

Ben did not know how to break the subject to Peter, let alone fully accept it himself...

After what seemed to be hours of sitting and calming, Ben finally mustered up the courage and got up before he walked towards Peter and Diego.

The happy duo turned towards Ben in a curious way, before Ben bent downwards and started to explain in a sad tone...

*explanation blah blah u cannot see ur parents anymore they got noscoped...*

After hearing Ben's statement, Peter began to cry and wail because Ben told him that his parents were not coming back and that he would not be able to see his parents anymore.

Diego seemed to not fully understand the situation, but he still felt sad because Peter was crying and wailing, so he walked towards Peter and started to cry alongside him while holding his shoulder.

Years passed as Peter and Diego finally grew old enough to look properly like a kid instead of a toddler.

Peter, whom had gotten over the loss of his parents, had normal height and thin structure compared to other children his age, along with his straight, brown hair and hazel eyes.(I really do not need to explain Peter's looks, do I?)

Diego, whom was even smaller than the smallest baby which had May and Ben worried, actually grew pretty tall compared to other children his age. He still retained his hair and eye color, hair style and the Egyptian tan and eyelashes he had in his previous life. (just imagine a kid Amon/Diego)

In the original story, Peter was more wimpy and scared, but due to living with Diego, instead of being a loner all these times, Peter's personality was a bit more developed and altered. Peter was still scared and a bit wimpy while he was alone, but not to the extent of him in the original story.

Their journey in grade school was smooth sailing, as Peter and Diego were always together, It made no difference if they were made fun of or avoided, since it meant that no one annoying would interrupt their playing time.

Sometimes, bullies tried to approach and make fun of the duo, but thanks to the violent nature and temper of Diego, the bullies were scared away after they learned their lesson the hard way.

This aggressive act was noticed by their teachers as they scolded Diego and told him to act better towards other kids, to which Diego just snorted as he turned his head away.

Years passed once more... And during their years together, Diego and Peter spent almost all of their time together, causing them to form a brotherly bond.

Peter and Diego grew up once again as their features became more defined and they became full-fledged teenagers.

Peter (who looks like the mixture of Spider-man Homecoming and The Amazing Spider-man) was fascinated by science and was determined to become a scientist similar to the original story. His hobbies were photography, video games, and with a bit of force from Diego, a bit of running and jumping.

Diego was also impressed by science, but did not have the extreme brains to follow through the profession. So instead, he decided that he would be a biologist or a programmer... to be honest, Diego did not really care about what he would become, as long as he was having fun. Diego's hobbies were similar to his previous life, he liked video games and parkour, with a bit of fighting.

Peter was still skinny, but had a bit of muscles due to Diego's persistence, whereas Diego's built was well shaped and looked great along with his Egyptian tan.

Whenever Diego would go out for a run or exercise, he would always drag Peter alongside him. The latter wanted to retort and refuse, but was too weak to do so, causing him to tag along his adopted cousin/brother which turned out to be fun.

Speaking of having fun, recently, one of May's friends, Anna Watson started to come over from time to time. Sometimes she would bring her niece, Mary, along with her during her visits.

Diego was annoyed and too lazy to come downstairs because of those visits, but May had forced Diego to come down in order to show kindness, which Diego refused at first, but May's perseverance and motherly gaze proved fatal for the tanned teenager.

However, when Anna and her daughter came for a visit, Peter had no complaints whatsoever about coming downstairs or leaving his makeshift "laboratory"...

This was not unnoticed by Diego, whom one day pulled Peter into a corner and interrogated him...

"So, you refuse to get your ass away from your ''laboratory'' for five minutes for your brother, but you merrily dance your way upwards when the Watson's come along for a visit..." Diego asked with a threatening voice along with an intimidating expression, which caused Peter to sweat while avoiding eye contact.

Of course, Diego noticed this and held Parker by the chin and quickly turned his face towards his before he gazed deep down at Peter's soul.

This caused Peter to sweat even more before he finally couldn't endure anymore.

"Al-alright, alright! Just lemme go, and I'll tell you!" Peter groaned as Diego let go of his shoulder and chin before he held his hands up before he said;

"Alright Parker, chirp..." Diego said before he crossed his arms and raised his brow as he listened.

"I...I-I li*whisperwhisper*" Peter whispered in an extremely low tone, causing Diego to not hear him.

"Speak louder, ya idiot!" Diego angrily whispered towards Peter as he pushed him against the wall once more.

Peter seemed to be somewhat irritated by this as he quickly spoke;

"I like Mary!" in a stern tone as his face took an angry expression.

Hearing Peter suddenly say such a thing with a face like this, Diego's expression turned into one of surprise as his brows rose while his mouth opened in a kind of "whaa?" way as he backed off unconsciously.

Peter looked towards his cousin with a tired yet angry expression before he realized what he had just done, which caused him to blush as he quickly jolted back while covering his mouth.

Seeing this, Diego leaned back and started to laugh out loud as he held his belly.

Peter, who was already embarrassed because of his sudden exclamation, saw Diego's reaction, which caused him to blush even harder as he held his head as he turned around and pressed his head towards the wall.

Seeing this, Diego felt slightly guilty, so after he finished laughing crazily, he reached towards Peter and pulled him from his shoulder towards him and spoke as he let out chuckles and giggles in between his sentence;

"P-pa*giggle*-rker, It's *chuckle*alright man."

Diego wiped his eyes with his free hand before he poked Peter's chest with his index finger while he continued to speak.

"How about this... In exchange of my 'rude' behavior, I'll help you get closer to Mary?" Diego suggested as he first mischievously looked at Peter for a bit before he changed his gaze towards the living room.

"W-what!? Really, Diego?"

Peter's eyes lit up as he exclaimed.

Diego patted Peter's shoulder as he walked towards the living room before turning his head around while giving Peter a smirk as he said;

"Of course, just follow my lead."

Diego then turned around and walked back, followed by Peter before entering the living room.

When the duo entered, everybody present turned towards them as May cheerfully ran towards Diego and Peter before she quickly spoke as she switched her gaze around the two;

"Diego, Peter, could you two be a dear and go to the market to buy these ingredients?"

May then quickly whipped out a small square paper, which had a couple of words written on it.

Diego picked up the paper with his thumb and index finger as he lazily gazed at the written ingredients on the paper before shrugging his shoulders and stating;

"Pfft, easy. Don't worry about it, we'll be back in 5 minutes or so."

After hearing Diego's response, May clapped her hands as she smiled and said;

"Great! Also, do take Mary Jane alongside you two. She still does not have many friends and needs to go out more often..."

Hearing May speak, Diego nodded in a lazy manner as Peter's eyes opened wide while Mary Jane got up from her seat in order to accompany the two brothers.

"UGH! Hgghhuaaaarg..."

But just as Diego and Peter were about to exit the room, Diego suddenly exclaimed in shock as he held his stomach and crouched down while he groaned in pain. This caused the people in the room to exclaim in worry as they quickly turned towards Diego and gathered around him.

Before they were able to say anything else, Diego lifted up his hand, indicating them to stop.

Diego then held the shopping list towards Peter while dangling it around a bit as he said;

"H-hey little bro, I'll be fine after a bit of resting, so you two take the list and get Mom her ingredients..."

Hearing Diego, Peter was about to speak up, but his face suddenly lit up as he realized what Diego was trying to do. Peter then quickly grabbed the shopping list from Diego's hands as he tried really hard not to smile.

"Are you sure, brother?"

Peter then asked out of "worry", causing Diego to look towards him and give a slight nod as he bitterly smiled.

Then, as Peter and Mary Jane were "reluctantly"(only Peter) leaving, May held Diego's arm and looked at him with a face full of concern as she spoke;

"Diego, are you alright?"

Diego then slowly grabbed May's hand and held it between his hands before he bitterly spoke;

"I'll be fine, Mother. It was nothing but a bit of stomach pain and nausea..."

He then let go of May's hand before he turned towards Ben and signaled(a nod) him that he was alright, in which Ben nodded back at him with a hint of concern.

Diego then turned around before suddenly, his body jolted as he held his mouth in order to hold his puke inside of his throat.

In reality, Diego was not faking anything, as he really did have stomach pain and nausea. Unknown to everyone present, Diego's eyes started to distort and change between the pure black and white color as Diego started to feel even worse, and guessed that he will not be able to hold his puke at bay any longer.

Diego then ran upstairs and towards the bathroom, pushing open the bathroom door in a hard way before he kicked the door closed.

Diego then threw himself onto the toilet as he hugged the lid while he started to puke uncontrollably inside the toilet, some parts splashed away from the toilet, but the major part of the puke managed to get inside the toilet.

He puked for minutes, emptying all of his stomach inside the toilet until all he could puke was water and saliva.

Diego then jolted backwards as he threw himself down on the floor, before he grabbed his head with both of his hands as he took a deep breath as his breathing rhythm was a mess due to not being able to breathe properly for the previous minutes.

As Diego tried to get his breathing in order, he suddenly heard a hoarse and sinister voice;

???: [Helloo, Dieegooo.....]
