Time rapidly passed by, and before people realized, it was Autumn. The emerald forests gradually turned yellow, and a bleak feeling of chilliness filled the air.

Han Jin stood on the top of a hill and looked down in silence. Four months had passed since they had left the Eleventh Town. During this period, he'd achieved stable progress in his cultivation, and his energy had nearly reached thirty Jia. Judging by the criterion of this world, he was equal to a fourth-grade professional now. Such rapid progress had surprised all his companions.

Certainly, the gap between Han Jin and Moxinke was still very large, but Han Jin was confident in himself. Since the day Cessacioun had given him the recovered space ring, he'd become a collector. He had collected more than ten charms of fire and thunder, over forty Five Wraiths Carrying Charms, and seven Wooden Army Calling Charms, which were enough for him to deal with an ordinary fight.

Beside Han Jin stood Moxinke. He was big, tall, and sturdy, like an unshakable mountain. Since he had mastered the fighting technique 'River of Stars', he had gained more composure and the demeanor of a 'powerful' swordsman. But of course, that was only if you didn't talk to him. In times of leisure, he would still occasionally act in a silly and baffling manner.

At the foot of the hill, some Iron Bulls were leisurely grazing on the grassroots. They were going to move southward in a few days, as they were only interested in green plants, whereas the plants in these woods were turning yellow.

The calf saved by Han Jin had grown up quickly. Within three months, it had grown to nearly one meter in height. At the moment, it was entertaining itself by rushing to the top of the hill and then rushing back to the foot of the hill again, chasing butterflies and trampling the beetles crawling on the ground.

The Iron Bulls had been a great asset for the past few months. With their help, Sunier and the others even dared to hunt or provoke gregarious holy animals. They would often wound one or two of the holy animals, and then lead their enraged pursuers to the territory of the Iron Bulls.

This little calf also played a very important role in those fights. It might be that this little thing was saved by the Sacrificial Materials for Holy Animals, or because it was nearly killed by the Bear of Earth, but it despised and hated all other holy animals with a seeming passion. As long as it saw other holy animals attempting to invade its territory, it would be the first to rush out and fight against them, which would then cause the whole herd of Iron Bulls to rush to his aid.

Giant Lizards, Flash Leopards, and even a wolf pack with more than thirty Gale Wolves fell at the hooves of the Iron Bulls. Of course, Sunier and Moxinke would in turn come to the Iron Bulls' aid when they fell into danger. The fact was, the Iron Bulls were used to working with their human partners at this point, although they probably wondered why there were so many holy animals bothering them everyday...

"Why hasn't Sunier come back yet? Should we be worried?" Han Jin asked with a frown.

"She said there are no more high grade holy animals nearby and wanted to go somewhere farther today." Moxinke scratched his head and said, "Maybe… she went too far."

"No matter how far she had gone, she should have been back now." Han Jin looked up at the sky. It was already afternoon.

Just then, a loud sound came from the distance. A moment later, Sunier jumped out from the hillside opposite to them. She drew her long bow, shot an arrow, and then ran towards the foot of the hillside again.

Two tall figures appeared. They looked very strange, as if two tree trunks had sprung to life and were now running. Their outstretched limbs and their bark-covered bodies were all extremely rugged and jagged.

Treefolks, eighth-grade holy animals! Two of them! Han Jin was startled. But compared to Sunier, the movement of the Treefolks were much slower. Sunier ran with ease and would even stop from time to time to take a shot with her bow. The bodies of the two Treefolks were full of arrows by the time they arrived, and were looking like two target practice dummies.

The Iron Bulls anxiously gathered together. Their leader gave out a dull growl, warning the Treefolks to go away.

Hearing the roar of the Iron Bull, the two Treefolks immediately stopped moving. Though Iron Bulls were vegetarians, they had very tough skin, a powerful charge, sharp horns, and they always fought in large groups, which deterred most other holy animals from invading their territories.

Sunier stopped there and slowly drew her bow with a lazy expression as if she was mocking or provoking the two Treefolks. Her finger loosed, and an arrow flew out as fast as a lightning bolt, landing on the body of one of the Treefolks.

The Treefolk trembled and strode up to her. In reality, the Treefolk did not excel at hunting nor speed. Usually, they caught their enemies by surprise with their naturally camouflaged appearance. When their prey approached them, they would launch a sudden attack that would immediately incapacitate its target. The claws of the Treefolk were made of countless sticks which were soft, tenacious, and full of thorns that could pierce the bodies of holy animals, and allow the Treefolk to suck their blood dry. Their claws were their deadliest weapons, and once you fell into their trap, you could not move a single step until your death.

The little calf breathed heavier and heavier, and ran faster and faster. It fiercely dashed at the two Treefolks. The other Iron Bulls also pressed forward toward the hillside when they saw that their warnings were being ignored, and their territory was being invaded. Suddenly, one of the Iron Bulls deviated from the group and caught up with the calf. It shoved the calf by leaning its body, making the calf's body roll over like a ball.

The little calf groaned with discontent and tried to get up, but the Iron Bull just bent over and pressed the belly of the calf under its body. The calf was so angry and impatient, it randomly kicked around, with grass, leaves, and detritus splashing all around. Still, it couldn't get up.

Sunier had familiarized herself with these charges long ago. She made way for the Iron Bulls before she continued to retreat and lead the two Treefolks down the hillside. The two Treefolks had already been enraged by Sunier's constant pestering for the past hour, and rushed toward her recklessly.

Seeing that the Treefolks were determined to invade their territory, the normally docile Iron Bulls were finally enraged and showed their undying determination.

Their leader ran faster and faster, and the whole group turned into a blast of electric-blue torrent with an overwhelming momentum. The heavy bodies, each nearly thousands of pounds in weight, shook the ground like an earthquake. Their horns were shining with a cold light, and were pointed straight at the Treefolks.

Unlike wolves, Iron Bulls didn't know what a flank maneuver was. They were not carnivorous holy animals, and they didn't know any hunting tactics. All they did during a fight was to charge out and demonstrate their wild strength!
