348 Would Appease Everything

While Thompson Price was doing his usual rounds on their mall at Celestial country, his eyes went to one side after feeling someone staring at him over there.

There close to the center of the floor stood a bewitching to everyone around her.

Some would take another glance at her while others would stare at her, at some point some even hit the wall or some stuff because their eyes never left her.

But her look made Thompson's face turned pale as he staggered inn his feet, she was smiling at him. A smile that says I know what you did and I have returned to get back your payment.

He ended up staggering causing him to move his eyes away from her.

He even felt like he was dizzy somehow as he hold unto his knee trying to even out his breathing that turned erratic just sseeing her face.

"Are you alright sir? Is there something wrong?" one of the people around him asked.

Thompson looked back to where she was standing and she was no longer there. He looked around but could no longer find a trace of her.

Even the people weren't looking at any particular location and was moving like normal as if that lady was not there in the first place.

Thompson held his head, 'Was I being affected by my father's none stop talk about her coming back.'

Indeed he was there when Nathalie first appeared in that video and he saw with his own eyes that she was indeed alive. But time passed after that and she never made contact again, they all thought it was someone trying to scare them instead.

But his father said that during the year end event, Nathalie has once again approached him. Yet no matter what he does, no matter how many people he send to look and check the security cameras nothing was happening.

He shrugged this off but a bud of fear already sprouted inside him.

Amber was actually standing near the elevator a while ago and she took advantage of Thompson's distraction to get on it.

Well, if he didn't stayed in position for another minute or so, then she could only allow him to see her enter the elevator.

But since he did she was able to hide from his sight through the wall enclosing the door of the elevator that she was able to hid from his sight.

She was also grateful that most people stopped staring at her and the elevator came immediately.

She wanted to laugh at herself, she didn't expect that her face would make so many people stare at her.

'This face is truly a trap, I can't stay long when I scare them but most of the people would show my location because of their stare.'

This is the first time she came out as Nathalie Price, to try out how she would do things.

'I guess I need to check the location before going in order to have an escape route once they snap out of their shock while I am still leaving.'

She nodded at the person operating the elevator as she stepped out of the elevator, the man didn't realize that he was already going up until someone entered and told him the floor they wanted to go to.

The aldy just now was very beautiful, could be the most beautiful person he has ever seen.

When Amber climbed to the car, she removed the wig and the contact lenses before driving away after wearing her mask.

She was not scared of the CCTV in underground parking for she already hacked through them and made sure that her arrival and departure was not seen.

"How was it?" she received a call from Ashton.

"Are you some kind of seer, how did you know I was done?" she replied with a smile.

Ashton didn't say anything.

"Well it went just fine, his face turned quite pale after seeing me and it was satisfying."

"And?" he asked.

Amber laughed, he really knew if she still has things to say.

"It is obvious that I made quite a seen with my face, I need to prepare more to make sure that I have an escape route when I appear, for people keep staring at me."

She shook her head, "If I leave just like that, they will still find me for people kept staring at me."

"Just bring some people with you when you do go out, let them be the ones to distract those people once you take your leave," he replied.

"That could also be a good plan. Very well, I'll do just that. It is better to be safe than sorry," she answered as she make a turn to anotehr mall.

"Would you be late tonight?" she asked afterwards.

"There's a bit of papers that needs to be checked, go ahead and sleep. Don't wait for me," he looked at the pile of papers on his table before replying.

As he took care of her, this things piled up. Together with the fact that every beginning of year the company would be quite busy.

"Okay, take care then."

"Hmmm."

Amber went to this mall to buy some ingredients that was not at home in order to cook for him but it seems that she needs to rethink about it.

'But I could use this to have a bit of a change of pace,' she thought before coming out of the car.

After the incident and after the year end event, not once had she been out of the house. This is the first time she came out so it might be possible that she can have some breather.

She walked into the department store bought a few things before going to the bathroom to change her clothes.

What she wore a while ago are formal attire, she was not comfortable and so she bought some jeans and hoodie, together with a cap.

She bought some ice cream and ate as she looked around, the place was not as extravagant as Price mall but it was still thriving.

'Someday I wish I could walk through these places without my mask on and without anyone coming for my head,' she thought with a laugh.

If it was back then, she wouldn't think abut this simple things, going around while walking and enjoying a day to day life.

She was hell bent in her revenge after all but now that it seems to be at the end, she couldn't help but to have such thoughts.

Thompson's face was truly fulfilling but the people she wanted to suffer the most are Harry's family.

It was not as easy as the mall to walk out of the hospital after all. And Harry just loves sticking in that place.

She fell into deep though.

'Come to think of it, even Clark is barely coming to the malls for inspection. Most of the time it was the hospital. No not just the two of them but the others as well.'

She stopped in the terrace and stood by the railing allowing the wind to blow on her face.

Just then an imperceptible smile appeared on her face.

'No even that Van something, Madison's father would from time to time go to the hospital. And that hospital leads to one of the underground facility of Price Empire.'

'It is obvious that they are trying something new in that place, I wonder what kind of experiment they are trying? Must be something to increase their standing?'

She smiled this time while looking up at the sky, 'Ah I really wanna know. If I can thwart their plan then that would be even more enjoyable.'

After staying there for a while she started walking around again, buying a few things that caught her eye.

Her lips were twitching when she realized that she had been carrying a lot which was already in her car.

"Never thought I could be a person who would shop so much."

Then a smile bloomed in her lips as she started the car.

For most of what she bought was actually for Ashton, though she knew he has a lot of stuff already, when she saw those jackets, neckties and all, she just couldn't help herself but to buy them for him.

'His birthday is still three weeks away but maybe I could give this as an advance gift?'

She drove back home with a jolly atmosphere.

Both of them are not staying at the main mansion but to where they lived together back when she just returned to Celestial country.

She couldn't help but pout when she saw all the lights are off, the servants have gone home already for it was past six.

She didn't expect she'd stay quite a while in the mall.

And with a thought she drove her car into another direction.

Upon arrival, some were already on their way home while others are still in the office. She brought out the food she bought and went up.

No one stopped her for they knew it was the young madam of the Empire.

Ashton massaged his temple, he skipped his lunch and now he is feeling a headache for doing so.

He then heard a knock on the door but no one entered. After a while another knock.

He furrowed his brows and felt like this happened before already.

He stood up and opened the door.

"I've brought you dinner or maybe lunch as well. Cedric told me that you haven't eaten since lunch. You are skipping them again."

Amber walked in while nagging at him and a smile appeared on his face as he followed her to the table.

Indeed, whenever he felt weak or whenever he was not feeling well, as if having some telepathy, she would appear and appease everything.
