345 The Whole Empire Will Fail

When Timothy and Xander noticed that both Ashton and Amber were already missing and when they looked back at Clark price, they knew that it was over. She had made her move already.

Both looked at one another and approached Clark price.

"Grandfather," Timothy called.

Clark who was waiting for some news from the people he asked to check the security cameras jumped up upon hearing Timothy's voice.

When he looked at them and saw that they are curious to his reaction, he cleared his throat, "What is it?"

"Well, we were just thinking of going home for the night. It has been a long one and I also need to bring Alissa back," Timothy answered he has no idea of what was going on with Clark.

"Oh, yes, yes, miss Coleman. Yes, go on and rest. All three of you should go home and rest. And bring Henry with you," Clark replied while gesturing to Henry who was his secretary.

"Sir Henry? Is there something wrong grandfather?" Xander was the one who asked.

Alissa who remained silent all this time wanted to laugh at these siblings, they really are the same with Amber when it comes to acting innocent when they were the devils who caused this man to be jumpy.

"No, there's nothing. Of course none but Henry also needs to go home now. I just want him to do one last thing in the mansion before then. So let him go with you," Clark replied.

His words were fawning and filled with concern but he didn't want to be put down even more that his face is stern.

Him speaking in such tone was already too much, if not for that woman suddenly appearing.

"We understand, we shall take our leave now," Timothy answered and the three of them turned to leave.

"Go and inform all those people in the mansion not to cause trouble for those brothers. Even though they spoke in a friendly manner to the others from the other Empire, no one must find fault in them for doing so," he then commanded Henry.

Henry acknowledged before following the siblings out of the venue.

"Grandfather what is going on?" Glenn noticed all these and went to him after they left.

"You too, don't make trouble for those two. Specially with Xander when you are alone, if you do I will make sure that your title as the heir would be revoked instantly," Clark glared at him.

He still hasn't forgiven him for losing two contracts and getting the gang killed.

"Wh- What's going on grandfather? What's wrong with those two? Why would you speak about my title as an heir?" Glenn felt wronged.

"I'm just telling you to watch your actions, once that person appears not just your title but the whole Empire will fall," Clark said in gritted teeth before walking away from him.

He searched for the people he had tasked to check the security cameras. It has been an hour and he still didn't get any news. This is getting more in his nerve, he just wanted to explode if not for the place and event where the other Empires are present.

The night had been nothing but trouble for him, Silvia embarrassed their whole family by saying that the food was lacking when it was those three people they invited but didn't come who cooked.

This was before he tried to mock Gideon for including a person from another Empire in the performance but was rebuked that it was the company he asked for a performer and not the person.

At this point, Clark had forgotten that they did the same for Ashton the year before, making him perform in the event when he was part of another Empire.

And the finale of his night was the worst for it was Nathalie Price who suddenly appeared.

Glenn clenched his hands into a fist as he watched his grandfather walked away.

He was planning on making Timothy regret his words tonight once this is over, who would have thought that he would be warned before he could even do anything.

This truly infuriates him.

A warm small hand enveloped his clenched hand, "Calm your anger, no matter what happened no one is suited for being an heir other than you."

He looked down at Madison who had a smile on her face and her face tells him that she truly believes in him.

Something he never saw in anyone else, not even his parents nor his sister. He couldn't help but to fall for her despite not having this feeling since the beginning.

"You are the only one who supports me," he placed a hand on her cheek and said.

"If no me, who else then? You have to wait until that person appears, I don't know who grandfather is talking about but we have to wait. Once that person appears then you can show everyone just who is the rightful heir," Madison held his hand and said.

"Yes, I can't be distracted now when the person I should defeat is not yet here. I'll wait for that person and make sure that that person will never be able to do anything other than cower in my feet."

His eyes were filled with resolution as he spoke this words making Madison smile at him but her eyes were smiling differently.

'Yes, keep listening to me and fall for me. The day you realized that all those sweet words were poison, would be the day that you have already fallen too much that you can no longer escape my clutches,' Madison said in her heart.

She then glanced at one side pf the event, there someone else is being surrounded by loads of people. When he noticed her looking at him, he raised his glass at her and smiled lovingly.

She smiled in return before looking away, the moment she did, hatred enveloped her eyes.

That was Van Austin, her father, the same person she runaway from a few years back. The same person who appeared after her kidnapping and allowed the Price to take care of her.

Madison knew after all, that this person is only after the money of Price Empire.

Upon her memories returning, she had once tried to ask him if she would end up being left behind by Glenn in the end, what would he do?

Her father in the end got mad at her for thinking that way, he had grabbed her arms and said in gritted teeth, that she must never leave Glenn Price's side no matter what. That she should do everything in order for him to remain by her side.

That was the last straw of her belief that maybe after years of being apart, her father would already have a change in him. Yet this showed that he will never change no matter what.\\

Whether for her or for anyone else, all he can think about is his self and how he can improve his own standing in the society.

'Before I deal with this person, I will make sure that I deal with you first. I will make sure that even you will have the most difficult time before you die,' she added in her resolve.

She had felt it, after Amber gifted her Carla. She felt that with Amber as her backer, she would be able to get revenge to all those who took advantage of her. Whether her body or her as a person.

"What's wrong? Are you tired? Should we go home now as well?" Glenn noticed the change in Madison's mood and held unto her hand.

"Shall we then?" Madison looked up at him with a smile and nodded her head.

She too really didn't want to stay here any longer, just seeing the people having fun while she suffered so much made her want to puke.

"Since most of them have already left, we can go already as well. We have showed our very own show anyway," Brian stretched and said to the others.

The show his talking about is them showing that they have good relationship, this is a show to everyone and most especially to their Empires that it doesn't have to always be rivals.

After this they will show how much they can improve while helping one another, this way the prejudice each of them have with one another would slowly disappear and they can finally live in harmony.

"Though I must say I was nagged by my grandfather about there silent major shareholder coming in the event," he then said as he started walking out.

"Please don't remind me, he even said something about me being disowned if I can't get that person to come," Mathew raised his hands.

Leslie and gee Anne looked at one another before giggling. These men couldn't do anything about that. They couldn't say that Amber was that person.

Or else, what they will face is not only Amber's wrath but Ashton's Wrath as well. That would be even more scary than the anger and threats of their grandfathers.

Harvey had nothing to worry about for he was the one suppressing his grandfather. He is currently the master of Carter Empire though it was not made public at all.

And currently he was doing splendid for their Empire is on the rise after so long and Garrett has no qualms what so ever. He was even thinking back on his own and reflecting all his actions.

And Harvey asked him to remain silent about Amber being involved with them.

Garrett didn't think much for she was not doing anything to harm them at all. And he now trusts what Harvey is saying.
