336 His Eyes Turned To Ashley

'Those two, even though I wanted to check on Amber because of the news that I've got. They were adamant that I should stay here and keep my act.'

Ashley was proppping her head on her hand as she stared outside the window.

She had her resolve for her punishment when Amber and Ashton sent her to Celestial country a few months ago.

Who would have thought that they would be sending her to a school?

No wonder she was tasked to hide her indentity. And the person she needs to look for was the one taking care of her now, even though she wanted to she couldn't go home.

That is the punishment for her, not to go home until she graduates from culinary school.

And so even though she had heard of what happened to Amber, she couldn't go at all.

She looked down at her hair that turned light brown and sighed, it was also curled for her hair was a jet black straight one. She was also wearing some contact lens that made her black eyes, brown instead.

SHe wears a glasses and adding to the fact that just like Ashton, she didn't love going to go to formal events where they interact with those young masters and misses.

Allowing her disguise to not to be questioned by her classmate. Unlike when she went to Achernar country where she didn't dawn any kind of disguise.

"Aileen, what's wrong?"

She got out of her thoughts when she heard them call the name 'Aileen', that was the name she was given upon entry.

She looked at her seatmate at the same time her friend, Kara Armstrong.

She was a daughter of an owner of a food chain that was in the middle rank.

She has this red hair and light brown eyes with her small face, giving her a cute look. Something she hated for people tend to think that she looks too young to be there.

Ashley smiled, "Nothing, just thinking who would be our speaker during the seminar later this afternoon. I heard he was quite famous in the culinary world but they left it to be a mystery."

"Oh, I too was looking forward to that. Do you think it would be a young or an old man?" Kara instantly became excited upon the topic of the seminar.

One of the best part of this school is that they would invite famous people to be a speaker and the students were able to learn a lot from these people.

"You two over there, please be quiet we are still in class," the teacher heard their voices and said.

Both apologized and giggled at one another before turning their attention to the discussion.

Just like that their morning classes ended and was now on break before going to the auditorium for the seminar.

"Seriously, what you cook is so delicious that I am wondering just whom did you learn?" Kara said as she ate happily.

The one who cooked their lunch for today is Ashley, the two of them are taking turns in making their lunch.

Ashley just smiled before she continued eating. It has been months since she last saw Jackson and all they did were messages, no call at all.

She still had the notes he had created for her and looked up all the books that he had in order to buy them and continue her studies under him.

ANd yet she was almost done with them causing her to feel that her connection with him is starting to disappear.

'How infuriating, he always said that I am a bother when I wanted to call him,' she grumpily thought as she munch another spoonful of her lunch.

"Hey, your mood plummeted once again. What is it?" Kara noticed the change in her and asked.

Ever since they became close, she had noticed that she would have a happy mood after typing in her phone for a few minutes and then there would be sometimes that it would suddenly make a 180 degrees turn.

Ashley just waved her hand, "Just remembered something unpleasant."

"Hmmm," Kara just nodded before shrugging.

"Let's go now. It's better to be early so that we would still have chairs," she said as they finished eating.

"Let's buy some coffee before going, I still remember that one time where the lecture was so boring I fell asleep," Kara stood up and pulled her to buy some coffee.

Ashley could only laugh, even though the seminars are fruitful. It is still possible to have some boring ones making one want to sleep.

Luckily upon arrival, only a few were already there and they were able to seat in the front, gving them a good view of the stage.

"Weird, why would they want us to leave our cellphones?" Kara asked her.

Even the other students were wondering when they were tasked to leave their phones and their cameras upon entry.

"I heard that the one lecturing today loves staying low profiled, he didn't wnat others taking pictures of him."

As the to of them were wondering, they heard some talking about the peculiarity of their speaker.

They looked at each other and just shrugged, it is not rare for people to be like this anyway.

They chatted for a good few minutes before the indication of the start of the seminar.

"I know you all are excited for this seminar. As for our current speaker I know for a fact that most of you are idolizing this person. And so our school is quite lucky to have the chance to get him to be the speaker of this seminar."

The teacher was also giddy as she introduced the person. How long did they try to make him appear here only to be rejected all the time.

Who would have thought that by the time they just randomly asked, he had agreed?

The teacher smiled, "Please all welcome, prince of refinement. Jackson Philipps."

Ashley who was still sitting nonchalant, sat up straight upon hearing the name. And her eyes turned wide upon seeing the person walking on top of the stage.

"No way," she voiced out.

"No way indeed, to think that the Prince of Refinement. The youngest and among the top of the culinary world would appear here. I have heard he rejected this chance a lot," Kara heard her and said.

The commotion filled the auditorium as they watch him walk towards the center of the stage.

"Please pinch me, how can he be so handsome and mysterious at the same time?"

"To think we get the chance for this."

"Who would have thought he would be this appealing, isn't it that rumors said he was an ugly person that's why he didn't want to be on the open."

"Hey, he lokos too young. Younger than most of us."

"I need to take a picture- Ah, my phone is not with me."

"No wonder they took our phone. He really didn't like being pictured after all."

"I have heard that even reporters and all couldn't upload a picture of him, within seconds upon upload, the picture was taken down."

"The ones who saw his picture were those in the magazines and all but even there, most were his hands and side profile."

"There was also rumor that those who got a good picture of him were paid to delete everything and were made to sign a contract that they no longer have a copy."

"Just what kind of backing does he have to have that they can do that."

"Most restaurants love to use their chefs as the front of their restaurant but the one his working at were not doing it at all."

Seeing as his appearance caused such commotion, Jackson who was now on the center could only clear his throat.

"Good afternoon to all of you. I know for a fact that most of you here are older than I am, but I do hope that you would still listen attentively to what I am about to lecture."

His eyes wondered around before it stopped for a good minute to Ashley who was sitting in front.

"I have heard that my lecture might be used as a material for your exams so I hope you would really listen to it," as he said this, his eyes returned to Ashley.

Ashley who was in shock returned to her senses when she saw his eyes, it was saying that she better take down notes or else.

"Hey, why are you suddenly bringing out a notebook? You were always only lsitening," Kara noticed this and asked.

"Well, it is not bad to take down notes," was her reply.

'That was my teacher up there if I don't listen and take down notes then he would surely kill me,' was what she thought.

Seeing as Ashley brought out her notebook, Jackson nodded before looking around once again, "Shall we start then?"

Though he rarely come out in such events, Jackson still knew how to give lectures.

Ashley was the one with the most pressure, the others thought of what he said as an exam to be just a comment. But Ashley knew he would surely test her on this.

She was just thinking of her assignments from him almost being over who would have thought taht he would suddenly appear here?
