Something only Madison saw for she was neither looking at Glenn nor Ashton. She was looking at Amber instead.

And Madison knew that even with all of Glenn's effort for this bidding, he would surely lose.

She didn't know who Amber Wood was truly is but somehow she could see that once these two were to work together, no one. Not even the best in Price Empire would be able to defeat them.

And that smile just now was an obvious thing, the bidding was set in stone and the winner was already known.

That was what Ashton told her. And his meaning was as clear as day to her, he wouldn't feel anything towards her for what may happen as she joined hands with them.

She felt bitter as she was kissed roughly and was pushed to the bed and his agitated hands moved around her.

She could only take it as the preparation for when she finally decided to get back at them.
