As the construction of the monsters’ garden progressed steadily, we were retraining the monsters, helping with the construction, and training them.

I was just watching from the side as Aina and Nora carried lumber on the back of the King Beetle.

“She looks like she’s having fun.”

“That’s Lars, isn’t it?”

I was astonished by Makina’s words, but she guided Iron Kong to deliver the wood to Daihachi-san. In the meantime, I hear Tanji-san and my brother talking.

When Makina and Aina peeked at them, they quickly turned away and headed for the tamer facility to avoid being taken. While I was thinking that I had prepared lunch separately, the incident happened.

“Oh, Lars-san. Good morning. We’re making some progress, but not much.”

“Yes …… However, there are some monsters out of the stables today, so it smells bad.”

I watched the construction supervisor go back to work and turned my attention to the bath in the open space. Sarge had brought it in last night and left it there for me. The plan is to bathe and clean the monsters today.

Well, there are some monsters that can’t do that, so I’m going to do it for the ones that can handle hot water, but not all of them.

–Yes, they’re not coming close to me. Thanks to Nora, the Bloody Viper and the Red Elk have come closer, though. It’s only been three days since we’ve seen each other, so I guess it can’t be helped.

Then Sarge, who had brought in the bath tub, spoke up a little louder.

Sarge said, but they were laying down in the open space or yawning and didn’t seem interested. As soon as Sarge looked a little disappointed, Schneider and Radia stepped forward.

“Woof!”

After Sarge had some kind of conversation with Schneider, they confidently went in front of the monsters. He had the hamburger in his mouth that I had just seen.

As she went in front of the group of monsters, several of them stood up and took a stance in alarm. The reason why the monsters were not fighting with each other was because of Tanji-san’s training and the fact that they were well fed, so there was no need to fight.

Then two strangers appear. Could it be that they’re going to fight and bring them to their knees? As we watched with bated breath, Schneider made a sound.

“Aooooooooooooooooooon!”

“Garrrrrr ……!”

“Oh, a monster with bright red fangs is on Schneider!?”

Makina panicked, but it seems that the lion-like creature didn’t move to attack him. 

“Woof, woofwoof.”

“Garr ……? Garrrr ……”

“Woof!”

“G-Garrr!?”

Then the lion said something to Schneider, who took a small bite of his hamburger.

“He told him not to eat it all?”

“That guy, don’t tell me–“

“Gau! Gauuuu!”

As soon as it came to my head, the lion’s eyes lit up and it turned and shouted at the other monsters. Then, the monsters who looked at each other slowly approached the hamburger and took a few bites. The monsters that got a bite from Radia also showed interesting reactions, and Schneider wagged his tail with a smug look on his face. 

After everyone had eaten, Schneider came to me and said something more. Then they all lined up in front of me.

“What the hell is going on ……?”

“Well, he said that if they get along with Lars, they can have a nice dinner.”

“This guy ……!”

I was about to pop Schneider in the head, but Sarge stopped me.

“Hyuuun …… Hyuuun. ……”

I sigh as I watch the forest hunter, Viking Wolf, get down and lower his ears. Well, I liked the fact that he was doing it for me, so I patted him on the head instead of giving him a fist bump. 

“I patted him on the head instead of punching him in the face. Thank you, Schneider.”

“You’ve thought of everything, even leaving dinner on the table, so it would be a pity to be angry with you. Thank you, Schneider. Radina.”

“Woof♪.”

“Grrrr♪.”

“Kuoon♪!”

“Oh, Lars-niichan, pet Aina too!”

So after this, they took a bath and we got closer. They say it’s not good to fish them with bait, but Schneider seemed to be acting like a leader. I guess he wasn’t the boss of a group for nothing.

And while the plan was going on, there was a development about the criminals from Sandiola that I had honestly almost forgotten about.

To my surprise …… The King himself came to pick them up.
