"Well, we were just congratulating Sa…"

"Hey! What took you so long, Sakiko?" Sasuke quickly asked, cutting Bashira short in her speech.

"Sorry about that. I just umm, well Itsumi wouldn't let me wear what I wanted. She specifically picked this outfit for me. I told her it wasn't a date or anything, but she insisted."

"Yeah about dates and stuff, that was…"

"Yeah, you look absolutely stunning in that outfit," Sasuke chipped in, interrupting Bashira for the second time.

"You really think so? Thanks." Her face lit up as her smile broadened at his compliment.

Sai, quickly caught hold of what Sasuke was trying to do and decided to help him. Before Bashira could utter anymore endangering words, Sai pulled her with him.

"Okay, got to run guys, see you later."

"Hey, be careful Sai. Don't forget you are pulling me along," Bashira cautioned him.

With her free hand she waved at Sasuke and Sakiko. "See you at school. Have fun on your… whooaaa!!"

Sai was getting tired of her loud mouth and ran away with her, causing her to gasp and shout.

"Bye Sai, bye Bashira-chan. See you and be careful on your way!" Sakiko yelled after them. After some seconds she turned towards Sasuke. He had a weary smile on his face when he looked at her.

"I didn't get to hear what she had to say. Sounds to me like Sai didn't want me to hear. Oh well, it is okay, you will answer me instead."

"Me? What answer? I don't owe you any answer!"

"Why are you all just giddy and…You know what never mind."

He sighed, feeling relieved at her statement. Little did he know that his joy was too soon.

"Although, I would love to know, I just can't help not being curious about it. You guys were all behaving suspicious."

"Well if you really want to know that much, then I would let you in on it."

"Really?"

"Yes. She was congratulating Sai on making his kid sister angry."

"Are you sure? Cause you agreed to tell me almost instantly."

"If I chose to ignore you, would you have let me rest or kept on bugging me about it?"

"Umm, I–I, you know it seemed fishy."

"Would you have believed me if I told you, she was congratulating us for going on a date and taking the next step in our relationship?"

"Pfffffttt…" She couldn't contain her laughter any longer and let it all out. "Hahaa haha. You must be joking right? That was so funny, Sasuke."

Sasuke was shocked by her behavior. Although he didn't expect her to believe him, but not to this extent.

"What'so funny?" He asked her feeling confused.

'Females! You ask for the truth and I told you, yet you do not believe and rather chose to believe a lie,' he sighed inwardly.

"Anyway, Itsumi did a great job. I love your gown."

"You look dashing in yours as well," she returned his complement.

He smiled at her and held out his hand to her. "Shall we?"

She took his hand and responded to his question, "We shall."

"Do you want the movie first or let's take a stroll around?"

"Technically, we still have like an hour more. I suggest we get a coffee first. My treat!"

"Let's head to get a warm cup of coffee then."

After the movie, they went to the pancake shop to have lunch. On getting there, Sakiko caught sight of Sai and Bashira.

"Sasuke, guess who we came here as well?"

"Who?"

"Look, over at that end, by your left."

"Ohhh, they seem to have finished shopping."

"Let's go say hi."

Not waiting for his response, she pulled him by the hand and headed straight or them.

"Hey guys, funny we should run into you here." Sakura announced.

Bashira and Sai stopped eating and looked up at the two. Sai spoke up first.

"Sakiko!"

Sai was alarmed seeing them there. He turned his gaze to Sasuke and saw him nervously watching them.

"What is inside?" Sakiko asked, pointing at the gift by Sai's chair.

"I see you guys have picked out the gift. I hope little Sakura would be glad."

"Umm?" She shifted her head from side to side, not following what they were talking about.

"Hello Sakiko, hello Sasuke. Care to join us? Perhaps you can tell me all about your…"

"No need for that, we would be having our own table."

"Nah, we are about leaving anyway."

Sai and Sasuke said at the same time, earning a quizzical look from the girls.

"Hehhe, we would just go get our seats and leave you two to enjoy your meal. Bye." Sasuke informed them and pulled Sakiko with him.

'I hope we do not run into you again today.' he mentally prayed.
