64 Chapter 64

"Who are you?! What did you do to my friend, Danica?! Where is she?! Answer me!" Quickstep asked the newly transformed fairy. He was angry because his friend just disappeared right before his very eyes. What replaced her was this new woman.

"Was Danica already dead? No! That can't be! My friend!" Quickstep thought inside and let his emotions get the best of him. The fairy felt that her body was starting to get squeezed tightly by a tremendous force.

She could only imagine what would happen if the bald immortal would continue releasing this kind of strength. She would most probably turn into meat paste in sixty breaths.

"It's me, Quickstep. I'm Danica, your friend. Please, stop doing what…" The Divine Evil Sect spy pleaded but her words were cut off. Even the gift of breathing was taken out from her. Her throat constricted as her body pressed into herself.

"What?! You can't be her! Danica and you looked like heavens and earths apart. My friend has a disproportionate face while you have a proportional one. Her eyes big, yours is slightly smaller. The teeth on her mouth were crooked but yours are perfect.

Even the color of your hair differs and its length too. So tell me now imposter, how can she be you?! Tell me where she is! Right now!" Quickstep roared towards the fairy and applied the heavy force once more.

"Hang on there, Danica! I will come for you! I will save you! I promise!" Quickstep thought as tears were clouding his vision. He had already lost his family and his entire clan. How could he lose someone else again? His real friend, for that matter. Right in front of him.

The bald immortal could not accept that he had been so careless. Even if he was now an Immortal Cultivation Expert Ant, it doesn't make him all seeing and almighty. He still has flaws. It was all his fault, he castigated himself.

"Please… Believe me… Quickstep… I really am Danica… Your friend…" the fairy's words paused after each phrases as she fought to breathe in that precious air into her lungs. She felt herself melting, literally. Her body was turning to mush as it is. Even her bones were now bending and ghastly popping noises were intermittently audible afterwards.

"Lies! Answer me! Or I swear I will make you feel pain even worse than death itself!" Quickstep shouted towards the fairy. His face was still wet with the continually flowing tears from his eyes. He hated himself so much because he thought that he'd let someone down again.

Exactly like what had happened before in his home. The feeling of helplessness ate at him.

"Okay… I'll tell… but first… Take me away… far far away… from here… please…" the fairy sobbed as tears were also masking her angelic countenance. She was a sorry figure to look at.

But despite the pain and suffering, she still had the presence of mind to find a way to get out of this city. Worthy of a seasoned spy from the Divine Evil Sect.
