12 Chapter 12
"Stop! Bouncing balls! I will ask if I have something I need from you. Okay? Just, stop it already." The system was about to start another topic but was interrupted by Quickstep. Quickstep was intent on listening to the system at first but quickly found out that what he expected did not happen.
The system was spouting nonsense instead.
"Affirmative, host." The system said to Quickstep.
"Good. Now show me the cheapest tier E Uncommon Existences." Quickstep commanded the system.
"Affirmative, host." The system replied to Quickstep. After that, the screen in his front changed once again and listed another set of names and descriptions.
1. Vampire – the blood drinkers of old. They feed on blood in order to survive. With it, vampires are immortal. They are fast, strong and have high healing abilities. Vampires are versed in the arts of hypnotism even without using their eyes which is their natural tool for hypnosis.
2. Werewolf – these are a cursed people who are eternal in their suffering. Having no strength to resist the change into a monster from their human form once a full moon is above at night. Once in beast form, they gain unbelievable regenerative prowess and strength.
3. Deviant – a change in the natural constitution of creatures that marks the beginning of evolution, most common to humans. Deviants possess a wide variety of abilities. Some can fly and others are gifted superhuman strength.
"Hmmm. If I take the deviant, do I get to choose an ability?" Quickstep asked the system. Being a vampire seems awkward. He could drink the blood of his two enemies because of his hate. But other than that, to drink someone else's blood he knows nothing about feels wrong.
And to do it on a daily basis seems not healthy. The werewolf was also out of the picture. Who would want to become one of the cursed people? Definitely, not Quickstep. So that left him with only one viable option. The deviant.
"Affirmative, host." The system said to Quickstep.
"Hahaha! I want to be a deviant." Quickstep finally told his choice to the system.
"Do you want to proceed to sell the 267 existences and creations, host?" the system asked Quickstep.
"Yes. Do it." Quickstep instructed the system.
"Affirmative, host. You now have 300,500 shop points to use." The system confirmed the purchase. Quickstep then felt himself change into something bigger until he formed into a humanoid existence.

"Where am I?" Quickstep said as he struggled to orient with his surroundings. He found it hard to focus because he was descending fast in a free fall. The images he saw were tangled and he felt dizzy in this sudden turn of events.
"What are you doing?! Turn me into a stone! Fast!" Quickstep hastily screamed at the system because he could almost see his demise in the hard rocky land below.
"BOUNCING BALLSSSSSS!!! NOOOOOOO!!!" Quickstep shouted as he closed his eyes and waited for death to catch him.
