5 Chapter 5
"I see. How much can I sell the flower for shop points?" Quickstep asked the system.
"1 shop point, host," the system replied.
"Bouncing Balls! That's so cheap! Hmmm. If I do sell it, would I still be able to duplicate another flower to transmogrify?" Quickstep said to the system.
"Negative, host. Zero Tiered existences and creation cannot be anymore be used to transmogrify once sold to the system," the system responded to Quickstep.
"Okay. I'm so slow. Is there any fast animals around these parts?" Quickstep asked the system.
"Affirmative, host. The fastest animal near your location is just 5 minutes from here," the system replied to Quickstep.
"Good. Lead the way," Quickstep said to the system.
"Affirmative, host," the system responded. Quickstep then moved silently as his long body trek on the ground. After only 3 minutes, Quickstep saw the animal. It is tan in color with black spots all over its figure. It also has a slender, long-legged body which indicates its prowess in speed.
"What animal is this?" Quickstep asked because he had never seen this kind of animal before in his short life as he'd been alive already for 11 weeks prior to the murderers' rampage on his home. If he had remained as a Carpenter Ant, he would have expected to only survive another 7 days before he died.
It was indeed a short life but Quickstep thought it fulfilling because he did what he was meant to do. His clan was united in their efforts and cooperated in peace. Quickstep thought back on those times and he smiled making his snake face even uglier and even more detestable to look at.
"Those were happy times," Quickstep said aloud.
"That animal is called Cheetah. It is the fastest F tier land animal in this world, which has a recorded speed of 107–125 km/h," the system inform Quickstep. The Cheetah was currently going to the direction of an unsuspecting Duiker in slow predatory steps as if marking that poor creature as its lunch.
The Cheetah started its charged at 60m from the Duiker and it only took seconds for the cheetah to race at full speed. The Duiker was alerted by the sudden appearance of the fast cheetah and tried to dodge the cheetah off its pursuit using the natural hindrances of trees and terrain as it run in twists and turns.
But the Cheetah was determined in its chase and strained to anticipate which way the Duiker will turn. Finally, the cheetah trips the Duiker off balance and did not fail to use the opportunity to bite the at the Duiker's throat. The Cheetah won his lunch in the end.
As this was happening, Quickstep did not halt on his crawl to shorten the distance between him and the victorious animal.
"How long until that cheetah moves?" Quickstep asked the system.
"Approximately 20 minutes, host. The cheetah will have to wait that long until its prey dies of suffocation," the system replied after calculating the demise of the large sized antelope.
"Perfect!" Quickstep said as he continued his silent journey towards the stationary Cheetah.
