"Done. Hahaha! My wife will be so proud of me because I got myself lots of honey this time. We will not starve anymore! Yes! I'm such a good provider. Maybe I'll get plenty of love tonight. Hehehe." Quickstep thought happily as he was on his way home dragging behind a good quantity of honey using a large green leaf as means of transportation of his abundant harvest.
He travelled far and was tireless in his journey.
After spending thirty minutes in the road, he finally saw his house where his family lives.
But before he could take another step forward to complete his arduous adventure, he felt the atmosphere burn and within the span of a mere second Quickstep saw nothing but the raging flames of destruction present in all directions.
His bright green world turned into red hot hell in only moments taking his clan and everyone he loves to be burned into grey ashes. His last vision was two giants fighting in the sky. One was an old person, the other a middle aged man.
They stood there high above the air like gods while looking at each other silently.
"Humans! I will kill you all!" Quickstep shouted before his mind faded into unconsciousness.
"Welcome back, host," this was the first voice Quickstep heard as he returned to awareness. Around him was the desolation of untold magnitude as anywhere his eyes fell; only white sandy matter remained. The forest he lived in transformed into an instant desert of death.
"Why am I not dead?" Quickstep asked in agony as tears were flowing down his beady eyes.
"You have been saved by the system bestowed upon you by the Immortal Maker "Nameless One", host," the female unfeeling voice of the system answered Quickstep.
"What system?" Quickstep was still dazed with his loss and was not thinking properly.
"The system is called Transmogrification. You can take any life form you touch and take their abilities for your own use. Their memories and shape would also be available for you. This ability is also applicable to the dead and inanimate objects," the system said to Quickstep.
"Heaven finally saw my plight and took pity on me. I will squeeze the lives of those two humans and eat them raw! I shall take my revenge with this system!" these venomous thoughts were the running on Quickstep's mind and forgot everything else.
"What else can you do?" Quickstep queried towards the system and wiped the wet tears from his eyes. What remained was the intense thirst for vengeance.
"I can assist you in any way possible if you have tasks for me and your status will also be put into data by me," the system replied to Quickstep.
"Show me my status," Quickstep commanded to the system.
"Affirmative, host," the system promptly responded. A brief flash of lights appeared and in front of Quickstep was a screen that showed these figures.
