CH 47.1

Wei Lou walked out with the face that all the players in the server were familiar with. The purple color robe that he wore glowed. The embroidery work on the robe was complex but executed delicately. It was no mistake that this was a ‘rare’ grade spiritual master robe.

His face is an icon of the highest ranking spiritual master across the server.

‘Hunter Cat’ who sat in front of the computer talked with a shaky voice. He didn’t mean to sound so surprised, but he was really shocked. And it wasn’t just him, the players around him were just as shocked.

Nobody ever expected that the top player of ‘Heaven’s Dream’ would conceal his name and stood beside a ‘nobody’. He is ——

Acting too low profile!

If they were the one who topped the leaderboard for three consecutive years, they would be dying to make sure everyone recognizes them whenever they come online.

Wei Lou was behaving in a low profile manner. If he didn’t step out from the mist, they wouldn’t have possibly noticed him.

‘Hunter Cat’ couldn’t help but take a step back. His voice was shaking, “Hello, big brother!”

Everyone around him, “…”

Brother, that is such a big change in your attitude!

‘Hunter Cat’ was aware of how the people around them would judge him. However, he had no choice. Once the duel began, the contents of the backpack of the one who lost the duel would be revealed to the winner. He had put in a lot of effort in accumulating all those items. He really couldn’t stand to lose it all if he lost this duel.

‘Hunted Cat’ knew that there was no way that he would win the duel. Lou Wei was not any ordinary player who topped the leaderboard, Lou Wei’s points were a lot higher than Yu Xia who was in second place and him who was at the third. It was just like in the college entrance examination, the student in first position had seven hundred marks more than the student who was in second place.

This is deadly.

There is no way he can win this.

Lou Wei typed and sent out a ‘Hello.’

The crowds surrounding ‘Hunter Cat’ saw the red cross above his head trembled before it split into half and disappeared into thin air.

This indicated that the duel requestor had surrendered.

At this instant, the in-game dialog box appeared again,

[The duel between the player (anonymous) and ‘Hunter Cat’ had ended. Winner – the player (anonymous). Because ‘Hunter Cat’ chose to surrender, items drop rate will be reduced by 40 percent and he only needs to reveal sixty percent of the content in his backpack.]

He is simply giving his all to protect his items.

The other players were not stupid. They all agreed that ‘Hunter Cat’ did the right thing. If he really goes into a duel with Wei Lou but loses in the end, he would have to reveal all of the items inside his backpack to Wei Lou for him to pick what he wanted. By surrendering to the duel, he could protect forty percent of his items.

They smacked their lips as they stared at ‘Hunter Cat’s’ backpack.

Although ‘Hunter Cat’s’ items were not as good as Wei Lou’s and ‘Anonymous’, he is still the player who was on the third place on the leaderboard with plenty of good stuffs.

At least, the items in his backpack are much better than those of a regular player.

However, he didn’t expect that Wei Lou didn’t ask for anything.

Lou Wei told him to put away his items, “You should keep them. It’s not easy to get them.”

The other players were confused when they heard his words.

They looked at the ‘rare’ grade robe on Wei Lou and then looked at Wen Fan’s Gold Dragon black robe. When they think back on what Wei Lou said just now, they felt as if they had been mocked.

But when they saw that Wei Lou didn’t take anything from ‘Hunter Cat’s’ backpack that was filled with treasures, they could sense that Wei Lou was sincere with his words.

It could be real that he didn’t want them or…it could be that he simply felt that he didn’t need to take them.

But regardless of Wei Lou’s reason, ‘Hunter Cat’ felt relieved.

He was really blinded by greed just now. His mind was on the ‘super-rare’ treasure that he saw, but he never considered if there would be someone backing up his opponent.

Seeing how Wei Lou followed behind this anonymous player, ‘Hunter Cat’ immediately assumed that Wei Lou gave his ‘super-rare’ Gold Dragon black robe to his best friend. He never suspected that there might be two sets of Gold Dragon robes.

After all, it is difficult enough to come across one.

Two sets?

No player on the entire server would ever dare to think about this possibility.

After this incident, ‘Hunter Cat’ was convinced that Wei Lou was not just the number one player, he was an honest and upright person. Although he had lots of treasures, he was never arrogant, and when he saw other people’s items, he never seized the opportunity to take advantage of others.

His respect for Wei Lou soared and it had now reached a new height.

Just when he was preoccupied by his thoughts, he heard Wei Lou say, ‘However…”

‘Hunter Cat’ immediately looked up at him, “Brother, just let me know what you want me to do!”

Wei Lou, “I won’t take your items. However, I hope you can train with the person standing next to me.”

As for how much you need to train him…you will need to figure it out yourself.

‘Hunter Cat’ immediately understood what Wei Lou meant. He was lost for words, “…”
