77 Side Story: Behind the Scenes

Daisy POV:

I'm in my room looking at the papers of the Damages resulted by Evangeline's Frenzy.

Thankfully, No one died thanks to Evan but some were still injured during the Goblin's onslaught.

Most of the people Fled to Evan's house so there's almost no Damage to the Kingdom except for some injured soldiers.

I made a relieved sigh.

At the very least, no one died.

I think we should actually invest in better defenses like how Evangie always tells me.

I made Evangie Rest for now, despite her cry for helping me. I don't want to burden her more right now.

I started working on the paperwork about how much I should reward Evan and getting the people back but then I heard a knock on the door.

[Who is it.] (Me)

[Your Highness, it's me Semil. There's a letter addressed to you from King Gabriel.] (Semel)

From Father huh?

[Come in.] (Me)

The door slowly opened and Semil came in.

He's old but Tall with a strong figure and a determined face that contradicts his age.

He handed me the letter and silently left while closing the door.

The letter had the seal of Etalethine which is a castle with two towers on the side. This means that it's definitely from either Father or Mother.

I took a deep breath and opened the letter.

Dear Daisy.

This is your Father, King Gabriel. I recently heard of the Goblin Attack and Evangeline's Outburst and attacking the Kingdom. Your mother and I are very worried about your Health, why don't you spend some time here with your family?

So, He's just worried about me.

Thank goodness he didn't ask me to replace Evangie or bring her with me otherwise things would've gone south.

I wrote back a letter to inform him that I will visit in a few days for some time. Alone.

*A Few Days Later*

I'm in my personal Carriage with Trish and there were some more soldiers riding horses and guarding the Carriage.

[You know it would've been fine for me to go alone, we need you on the castle helping everyone else.] (Me)

Oh, By the way, I left Evangie in charge of the Castle for the time I was here.

[Your Highness, please forgive me rudeness but It's Too Dangerous. And besides, I only brought a few people with me to keep you at ease.] (Trish)

[*sigh* Thanks Trish.] (Me)

It has always been kind of awkward when you're alone with Trish, but recently he has begun to shine up.

Beside's him protecting me all the time, it's rare for him to talk about anything so I'll start the conversation.

[I'm Really glad the Elves and us can live in harmony, but most of all I'm Glad that you let us do that.] (Me)

[I was stupid back then.] (Trish)

He stopped talking.

I made a sigh.

[... I was Stupid and Childish. Letting my Rage and hatred take control of me.... I'm Glad that helped.] (Trish)

Trish smiled for the first time in forever.

[And I'm Glad that I get to meet the Elves.] (Trish)

I smiled and nodded.

It took some time but we finally reached Etalethine's Castle.

I got out of my Carriage and into the Castle.

Father's Castle is 10 times more beautiful and bigger than mine.

I went in with Trish and some of his Soldiers.

I Soldier quickly came up to me.

[Prince- I mean Queen Daisy. King Gabriel Awaits your presence in his room.] (Soldier)

His Room?

[Alright. Please escort us.] (Me)

I already know the way but its better to go with a soldier from here as it creates fewer suspicions.

When I reached the room, I Advised Trish and the Others to stay outside for the time being.

They Agreed and I knocked on the door.

[Who is it?] (Father)

[It's me Queen Daisy. I've come to Visit.] (Me)

The Door abruptly opened and before I knew it, I was Hugged by Mother.

[Thank Goodness you're safe. Hurry up, Come In!] (Mother)

[Woah!] (Me)

Mother pulled me by my hand and closed the door behind me.

[Daisy!] (Father)

I was hugged by both Mother and Father.

[Thank Goodness You're okay. Do you know how worried your Mother was?] (Father)

They all worry too much.

I looked at them both. Mom's Strawberry fountain like hair had white strands and some wrinkles were forming on her face Beautiful and cute face.

Father had tons of white hairs with some pink hair mixed between them. His strong and Mature Face was soft and Tired looking now.

But despite their appearances. I still love them.

[Hehe, I'm Back!] (Me)

After they let go, we started talking about all the things that happened here. I had my share of stories and they had theirs.

I told them about my Unity with the Elves which surprised them the most and then about the Goblin army and Evangeline's Frenzy which made them worry a lot. I also told them about Evan and how he pretty much saved everyone.

[Hmm, We should also reward him for saving our daughter, Daisy, tell what does he like?] (Mother)

[Umm, Its useless to give him any kind of reward. I did ask him before if he would need something but he said, "Leave it, You wouldn't have what I want so how about some money."] (Me)

[Money, huh? That can be arranged, Right? Father Gabriel?] (Mother)

Mother said the last few words with some malicious intent that scared even me.

[*Cough* *Cough* O-Of course! You have my Word!] (Father)

After that, they started talking about what they have been doing. It was mainly normal Kingdom duties like Supply checking, Relations of other Kingdoms, keeping tags on the Adventurer's guild and so on. What surprised me the most was that a "Hero" started staying here.

They were skeptical at first but after witnessing Her powers first hand, She really was a Hero and right now, she's living here in the Castle. Her name seems to be Aisha. Aisha Langford.

We Kept talking a bit more until there was a Knock on the door.

[Father, it's me, Queen Isabella.] (Isabella)

Isabella? Big Sister! What's she Doing here?

Isabella is the First Child, which means that she's the oldest. Then there is my Brother, Lars and lastly me.

The door opened up slowly and my Big sister came up. A splitting image of me but bigger with a large Forehead and a Flatter Chest.

[Oh, Hey Daisy. The news I heard was quite astonishing, but I'm Glad to see you're alright.] (Isabella)

Isabella and my Relation is not that good since we don't meet a lot and that's cause she always stays in her Kingdom.

[Father, why have you summoned me?] (Isabella)

[Well, It's been a while I just wanted for everyone to get together and hang out, like old times.] (Father)

[Hang out? Did I come all the way from my kingdom to here from your urgent Letter and its because of "Hanging out"?] (Isabella)

[Precicely?] (Father)

[I-] (Isabella)

Isabella was going to say something but there was a knock on the door.

[This is Chara and I have some I have some important news regarding our "Hero", Aisha that I would like to inform His Highness.] (Chara)

[Come in.] (Father)

The door opened and a Maid with a Strong and Mature face came in.

She Bowed down the second she came in.

[Please excuse my rudeness.] (Chara)

Father nodded.

[Alright, what is it?] (Father)

[It seems like Madam Aisha has a really Close Friend that came here today. He hasn't caused any problems and Madam Aisha deems him an equal to her, and sometimes I feel like she deems him to be higher to herself.] (Chara)

I was surprised and so were everyone else in this Room.

[Who.... is this person?] (Father)

[She calls him Evan.] (Chara)

Huh?

Nah, there no way that can be true.

[He's a demi-human of the Silver-Daemon Tribe, With White hair and Crytal like blue eyes.] (Chara)

IT'S TRUUUEEEEEE!?!!?!?!?!?!

I was petrified. But it seems like Father and Mother haven't noticed it yet. Probably because I didn't define how he looks like.

[Right now, they are making their way to the Coliseum, it seems like "Evan" wants to reach Professional Grand-Master just like how Madam Aisha.] (Chara)

For a brief second, I saw Isabella smile.

[Okay, Father. I will accept your invitation to hang out as a family. But, after I see who this "Evan" is. I'm quite intrigued myself.] (Isabella)

[Huh? Uh Okay then. Let's all go to the Coliseum.] (Father)

*A Few Minutes Later*

We were sitting on the VIP Seats of the Coliseum.

When we came here. a fight was already happening between a Dark magician called Itla and some other guy.

I couldn't focus on the fight cause Evan hasn't come out yet so I'm Worried. Should I tell everyone that its the same Evan that helps us or should I not?

GAHHHH I'm So confused I Don't Know!

In my confusion. The fight had already finished and Evan along with a magician and the Referee came forward.

[Hmm, That White hair one should be Evan, per Chara's description of him.] (

He looked at me and started waving his hand to which I waved back in a panic.

Father, Mother and Isabella, all three looked at me with shock.

I guess it's better to tell them.

[Ummm Father and Mother, Remember when I told you that "Evan" pretty much saved my Kingdom?] (Me)

[Don't tell me. He is that Evan!?] (Father)

I discouragedly nodded.

But Still, now that I Think about it If a Hero looks at him as an Equal then Wouldn't he also be a Hero?

Judging from Evan's personality I can be true because he Doesn't like working a lot. And that also explains his surprisingly powerful house defenses such as that Dryad that I met.

While I was thinking to myself, the judge had said some kind of announcement and was telling the name of the Magicians.

The Crowd cheers again.

[.... And on my Right. A mysterious person Popping out of the Blue. With nothing known about him except A Great Friend to our Hero Madam Aisha, and his name is...] (Referee)

The referee's face suddenly fell grim.

... I have a bad feeling about this.

[..... A Very Tall Midget!] (Referee)

I was ashamed of myself and my entire existence.

I slowly went underneath the table.

[Uhh... Daisy... we can still see you.] (Father)

I talked with no emotion.

[No, you can't see me.] (Me)
