Evan POV:

The journey was mostly uneventful and we had almost reached the Human Kingdom.

If the cultists wanted to attack us then they would've done that during our travel. Seeing as their main objective is mass genocide for some reason.

This only explains that there are no more spies in the Elven Kingdom. That, or they need more reinforcements for attacking.

It took a while, but I'm standing on a tall tree and I can see a huge army with Daisy, Ruby, Lucy, and Oswald at the forefront.

Behind them were what I assume are captains. 4 guys in Iron armor holding yellow tipped Spears and Trish is among them, behind those dudes are the rest of the army, more than few hundreds who are also in iron armor but with sheathed swords instead of spears.

I looked down towards Elizabeth who was galloping on her horse and gave her a nod.

I think she understood that I wanted to say "we have reached."

I went ahead and with the help of grappling hook, I shot myself forward towards Daisy.

I landed on my legs.

Oh, Come On! Not Again!

[Yo Daisy! I got your message from Lucy and I thought that maybe I should help.] (Me)

Daisy and the others were surprised by me coming out of nowhere.

[Wha-] (Daisy)

Before she could say anything, I pointed behind me and all the elves made their entry.

Daisy went stiff and I could feel the nervousness of everyone else... Except for Ruby who looks like she's done this a thousand times.

The Elves army galloped near here before stopping a little bit far away.

I have no idea what's going on.

Elizabeth dismounted her horse along with Sarah, an Elf woman, and that one dude.

Those four approached Daisy.

I stood next to Oswald and whispered quietly.

[Psst, hey what's going on?] (Me)

He was a little bit startled but still responded quietly.

[Uhh, it's the peace treaty in session. The Queens will interrogate with each other and if they come to an agreement then step one is successfu-] (Oswald)

It looked like Oswald had more to say but the interrogation had started.

[Queen Daisy, the third Daughter of King Gabriel and Queen Mari. Your kind had always made us suffer with charges, such as kidnapping, slavery, and murder, for a few hundred years. Why should we trust you now?] (Elizabeth)

Looks like Daisy didn't expect that and was out of words.

I whispered back to Oswald.

[They were pretty friendly before. What happened now?] (Me)

[It doesn't matter if they were friends before, the Queen's number one priority is the safeguard of their people. That and they should also prove to their Army's Captains that they're doing the right thing. Otherwise, the army won't stand up for nonsense and may even rebel.] (Oswald)

I can easily tell that the pressure of all that is not boding well for a kid like Daisy.

[Q-Queen Elizabeth, the s-seventh Queen of the Elves. I-I know that my kind had done a lot of bad deeds towards your kind. But not only was that a really long time ago but it was the actual doing of the Cultists. The Cultist's group does consists of humans but they're just demons In disguise and I will never accept them as our own people. And just like your people, they have even kidnapped and murdered our people too.] (Daisy)

[That might be true. But what does that have to do with us?] (Elizabeth)

Daisy took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down.

[I want to show you and your people that we're not the bad guys. A Misunderstanding happened that blamed me and my people for all the atrocities they haven't done. I want to remove that by showing you and all your people that we're innocent. A-All I ask from you is a chance.] (Daisy)

Daisy closed her eyes and held out her trembling hand.

Nice speech for a scared little kid.

Elizabeth nodded and shook Daisy's hands.

Daisy opened her eyes surprised. Before smiling widely.

[Alright Queen Daisy, I will accept your proposal. We'll give you a chance and our trust. If you can show us that we were wrong.] (Elizabeth)

Daisy nodded her head happily and screamed [Yes!]

[Now, step two will occur where all the captains will introduce themselves, and those not present with reason, to the other army.] (Oswald)

[*Yawn* just tell when it will finish.] (Me)

[It will take one whole day.] (Lucy)

I almost screamed "Why!?" before managing to hold myself back.

The peace treaty was still underway and Daisy and Elizabeth stood together on the sides while the captains came forward.

Four captains from the human side and three from the elves.

From the elves side, that one dude who stayed beside Elizabeth, Sarah and one more woman came forward.

The woman had straight brown hair and a face quite similar to the dude. I won't be surprised if they're siblings.

Every captain placed their right hand on their heart and held their weapons on their left. Only the Humans had weapons though.

[Trish! Captain of the Queen's private Army!] (Trish)

[Conrad! Captain of the Balathien's Army's Archers!] (Conrad)

[Baldric! Captain of the Balathien's Army's Knights!] (Baldric)

[Nilus! Captain of the Balathien's Army's Mages.] (Nilus)

Apparently, the Human Kingdom's name was Balathien. I didn't know that this kingdom had a name. That and I'm gonna forget all those guys name's in a matter of minutes..... Except for Trish. HE'S MY MAN!! ....No homo.

Then Baldric stepped forward.

[Captain Tilton, Absent. Taking care of the Castle's Accounting.] (Baldric)

[Captain Semil, Absent. Taking care of the Castle's Paperwork.] (Baldric)

And then he stepped back again.

Only two dudes absent from the human's side, now let's go to the Elves side.

[Rudolph! Captain of the Queen's Private Army!] (Rudolph)

[Sarah! Captain of the Stillvine's Army's Archers!] (Sarah)

I didn't know Sarah was a Captain. And the Elf kingdom is called Stillvine, huh.

[Cerene! Captain of the Stillvine's Army's Assassins.] (Cerene)

Then Rudolph stepped forward.

[Captain Raerik, Absent. Rebuilding the kingdom.] (Rudolph)

[Captain Torbeld, Absent. Rebuilding the kingdom.] (Rudolph)

....

And like seven more names were said. Most of them were rebuilding the now broken Elf's Kingdom while the others were protecting the kingdom from any attacks.

All the captains nodded and each one handshake with one another before loud applause started from both the Army's soldiers.

Oswald and rest also started to clapping and I joined them.

Daisy happily stood forward.

[Alright Everyone! Please Follow Me!] (Daisy)

And everyone started the following Daisy as she led us inside the kingdom.

As we went through the alleyways people started peeking out of the windows of their houses, looking at the us who blocked off the whole fricken road.

[Why would all this take one whole day?] I asked Oswald.

[Well, step 3 is happening now, there will be a feast right outside the castle and all soldiers will try to become friends, make relations or try to know more about each other until tomorrow morning.] (Oswald)

Ohhh Grrrreeeaat.

..... I wonder if I can ditch Everyone here?

I saw Lucy squeezing through the crowds.

[Shishou! Sorry I couldn't talk to you before. Its military customs and I had to follow...] (Lucy)

She kept talking about something but one of her words hit me hard like a truck.

Shishou = Japanese

{Author Note: Shishou is a Japanese word that means mentor or teacher.}

That previous hero dude said that he made tons of things including how to learn 3 different languages. Most of the pages were torn but one of the only few which wasn't torn, said that he wrote a book on how to learn Chinese.

Was one of the other book about how to learn Japanese?

WHY DID I FORGET THAT BOTH LUCY AND OSWALD CALLED ME SHISHOU AND NOT QUESTION WHY DID THEY KNEW JAPANESE!?!

Well as long as I remember now.

I barely hid my excitement and interrupted Lucy's talk.

[L-Lucy. Where did you learn that?] (Me)

[W-What?] (Lucy)

She was startled by my strange behavior.

I cleared my throat and asked again.

[Oh sorry, I just wanted to know where you learned the word "shishou".] (Me)

[Oh, ummmm I think the language was called japa-neese? My grandfather gave me a book that had that language written in it. He said it was a really old respectable language used by some of the heroes from the legends.] (Lucy)

I held Lucy's Shoulders tightly in this crowd who seemed to ignore us.

[You have to make me meet your grandfather.] (Me)

She was startled but nodded nervously.

ALRIGHT!!!

I then started following the crowd as if nothing happened while ignoring the confused Lucy and Oswald.

Well, this expedition wasn't sooo bad. I got the info which I desperately needed.

Though I Still can't calm myself down.

Might as well ask Elizabeth, how she got the necklace and ask ruby how she got the book.
