48 Bonus Chapter Liza visits

Liza POV:

I made a deep sigh.

I was on my way to Evan's house on a horse with a backpack on me.

The backpack contains self-defense items and some paperwork.

Our guild master, Miss Evangeline was supposed to check Evan's house he built in the forest but she only looked and stayed with the queen before coming out.

What a pain.

Well, at least I got a little break from the guild. I made lark replace my position for a while. And I'm on my way to Evan's house.

Well at least it's Evan, so I think everything will be nice.

My jaw dropped.

..... What a giant house.

Does Evan really live here?

Most adventurer beginners can't afford rent so they either stay at the guild or in the wild.

However, Evan is not one of them.

The queen has even agreed to make him a master adventurer. Which is amazing since it would make him in equal standing with the guild master.

I was guided inside and lead to a place which I assume is the guest room because of the decorations.

There's even a sign here that says.

..... This place is quite amazing. Like a small resort.

Soon Evan came here.

I put on my professional smile.

[Well, From your request, I have added your house to our map. I just have to do a house check to see if it follows the guild guidelines.] (Me)

I took out some papers from my bag.

After that, we spend some time fixing the house, which wasn't a big deal.

It was mainly putting up a sign out on the main entrance and since this is a large house there should be a gatekeeper. After that, we talked about guards and Evan made a dryad work for guard duty.

I honestly could not believe that a dryad is working for him. If she's actually working for him then that just means that this whole forest is his territory now.

After some time, the work was finished. Evans house was now a registered house.

I made a deep sigh.

Honestly, it's more of a mansion than a house.

[Well that's cuz it is a mansion.] (Evan)

[I don't really mind. So what do you want to do now? I mean it will be dark pretty soon.] (Evan)

[Oh please don't mind me, and if I hurry I can still reach back.] (Me)

[Oh, come on. Have a break. Stay here for the night, I don't mind.] (Evan)

I thought about it.

Well, it's only Lark over there working..... And I did take a holiday before but that was given to me by the guild master so if I take another one, my salary will be cut a little bit.

I looked at Evan and he has a big smile on him.

The smile is pure and cocky but for some reason, the cocky part of the smile is more adorable than annoying.

After that, Evan introduced me to his family. The one called Luna was a bit suspicious of me for some reason and the great Lucy and Oswald also stayed here.

They said they were gonna be taught by Evan himself to which they were really excited about.

The one called Mia taught me about various things in the house. For example the dresser.

Which used magic to give you any type of clothes you want. I tried it and it was amazing. This is easily any girls dream.

Mia also told me about the shower. Which you can use to have a bath anytime.

I used it and it was like paradise.

I haven't felt this good in years.

I stayed in the shower for a really long time before they called me down for eating.

I had to pry myself away from the shower and even that was unbelievably hard.

With really comfortable and casual clothes I went down to where everyone was eating.

It seems that Evan and Mia cooked a meal together.

The aroma of the food was mouthwatering.

It seemed to be rabbits chicken with various different spices to increase the flavor. There was also some soup and salad.

It was gone in a minute and the taste was heavenly. This was better than queen Daisy's personal chef's cooking. And o can say that since I have tasted his food.

When night finally hit, I went to the bed and it was sooooo soft, it was like I melted into it.

And I instantly went to sleep.

...... This was one of my best day ever.

After waking up there was like a permanent smile on my face.

I had to pry myself off the sweet marshmallow bed.

When I went outside my room, there was a small fight going on between Evan's mother and father over who would use the bathroom first. Which honestly was weird. Why would they fight over the bathroom?

I asked Evan and he told me that it was a fight on who could use the shower first.

I then realized that everyone can use the shower and at any time too......

...... This place is real Paradise in disguise.

I hugged Evan's legs.

I honestly never cared about anything else than my job. The pay was good and the only thing I had to do was help people. Even with my hatred of Humans, It had not rid my sense for helping others.

But this place has changed that. This place has taught me the meaning of pleasure. I Just Can't Go Back To That Hell Hole Again!

I let go of his legs and stood up.

[Well I didn't really want to rent this place to someone but since Your my friend I can give you one room as a rent.] (Evan)

I made a resolute face.

My monthly salary is 1 gold coin per month and that was because I usually stayed overnight because there wasn't anything else to do at my house except sleep since I live alone.

If I can live here then I don't need anything else. And fortunately, my job was enough to stay here.
