(Evan POV):

That's going to be my next destination!

I thought as I started preparing for the journey.

The kingdom is quite far so it's a good idea to go now since the sun just rose.

I made some extra lesser healing potions and restocked my arrows to 500 and made some fire arrows too.

Well I don't have much of anything anyway so it's best if I just leave right now

Just then.

*Jeff the guide has arrived*

What? The guide NPC?

The door opened behind me

A guy with messy brown Hair came inside. He wore a white brownish buttoned shirt and blue pants with black boots.

[Greetings.] (Jeff)

[Hello, My name is Jeff and I will help you with being your guide.] (Jeff)

[How did you come here and why did you think I needed you?] (Me)

[I see you are confused but no matter. Let me explain, I and some chosen ones will go towards the chosen Hero's to help them in their quest.] (Jeff)

[Zombies are types of monsters that hunt at night. The daylight can blind them so they bury themselves before daytime. Those who aren't able to bury themselves before night will become blind and passive. They usually hunt for Mana in living creatures as it is their main source of food.]

That........ actually makes sense.

Well in the game they would just spawn and despawn.

(Wait now that you mention it why do I have 2 Mana stars?)

You always start with one Mana star..... Oh well thinking about it won't help with the low amount of info I have.

[Who are the chosen Hero's?] (Me)

[There are 4 total chosen heroes. Hero of Strength, Hero of Magic, Hero of Ranged and lastly Hero of Skill. The hero of Strength has insane strength, The hero of magic is very good in magic, The hero of Ranged has great mastery over bows and guns and the hero of Skill can learn anything.] (Jeff)

[Okay......what is the quest of these "Heroes"?] (Me)

[I'm not sure but they all will have the same mission and its said that they would bring peace to world from a terrifying evil. That will come down from the sky.] (Jeff)

Is he talking about Moon Lord? The end boss? Well, that's not my mission I have to find a way to go back home.

[Okay Jeff I want you to guard my house against Intruders.] (Me)

I went outside.

Looks like I better make some more space and more rooms. For more of them.

I started running towards the kingdom. Because of pain immunity, I can run for hours and won't feel anything.

*2 hours later.*

I finally saw a giant wall in the distance. According to the map, this kingdom has 4 walls for north, south, east, west each has its own gate and I'm going towards the west gate. The walls are made from stone bricks from the looks of it and I see people guarding the front giant door.

Okay, I'm nearly there. Now, what am I gonna do once I reached there?.........

I have no idea. I'll just look around for now.

There were 2 guards were human and looked fair and really tough. They were guarding the 5 meters wide gate and they were equipped with normal Spears with Silver armor from head to toe.

[Halt!] (Guard 1)

[Who goes there!] (Guard 2)

[Oh don't worry guys I'm neutral.] I said with my hands slightly up.

They both looked at each other before looking back at me.

[State your business.] (Guard 1)

Okay me, think of an excuse, you're good at these things.

[It's actually really embarrassing.] (Me)

I scratched my head as I was acting.

[But I was on my way to my uncle's and lost the way. I saw a huge castle in the distance so I came here looking for some shelter.]

They looked at each other and nodded before looking at me again.

[Fine you can proceed, but if we hear about any troubles then you won't be sparred.] (Guard 1)

That was easy.

[Thank you so much! Oh also can you tell me where I can eat food and find a library?] (Me)

The books can tell me about the kingdom and the geography of the place. If there is a library that is.

[Sure, just go straight ahead and then a right. There will be a 2 story tall building named hare's leg, look for a sign with a rabbit drawn on. And there's only one library near the center of the town. It's huge you can't miss it.] (Guard 1)

I thanked them and started to walk forward. As I was going forward I heard the guards talking

[Didn't we let him go way to easily?] (Guard 2)

[They're of the silver deamons race. Really passive, Trust me.] (Guard 1)

Welp. I didn't know racism would be a good thing.

The west part of the kingdom, where I was, had medieval styled buildings some were 2 stories and some were 1 story. Sometimes I could hear children playing nearby. There were other people going about their work, armed to the brim with armor.

I started following the guard's direction to the hare's leg.

Aha, there it is.

A wooden 2 story house with a rabbit sign just as the guard described.

I went inside and the whole place was bustling with people. Before everything went quite as I walked in.

Is this a wild west movie or something?

[What?] I said trying to break this barrier of awkwardness.

They went back to their business.

Weird

I went to the counter and a beautiful lady was working there she looked like in her 25 with straight brown hair tied at the end.

[Oh, it's rare to see a demi-human here.] (lady)

[How'd you know?]

[I've been working here my whole life. And no human eyes sparkle like that, honey.] (Lady)

[Well that's true. Anyway I'm looking for a place to stay and eat, you know of one?] I said in a jokingly tone.

She chuckled before saying

[Well you're in one right now. What can I get ya.] (Lady)

[Anything edible would be preferable.] (Me)

[*Chuckles* then what about the recommended?] (Lady)

I went to a table that was occupied by a single tough looking guy with a huge scar on his left eye and deep Amber colored eyes. He looked to be around 40 with some gray hair mixed in his black hair.

He looks at me in an intimidating way but I smile in return. Because of the passive "Fearless", I don't feel afraid

[Go away] (guy)

[Why] (me)

[Listen, kid, I'm not in a good mood and if you don't want a fight to break out right now then beat it.] (Guy)

[I'm new here I just wanted to know somethings.] (Me)

He signed.

[I'll answer if you go away.] (Guy)

[Alright!] I gave a wild smile.

[Firstly, why is everyone armed to the brim here?] (Me)

[Are you serious?] He looked at me as if I'm some kind of alien.

[Well it makes sense if you're going outside, but everyone I saw while coming here was armed to the brim.] (Me)

[You're the one that looks out of place kid.] (Guy)

[They all have their jobs as adventures. And almost any job requires you to get outside. That's why everyone is armed.] (Guy)

Just then a 15-year-old girl with black hair in a ponytail came to me with a plate in her hand. She placed the plate in front of me and the plate had what looked to me like mashed potatoes and some chicken leg of some kind.

[One recommended, Rabbit leg and mashed potatoes, please enjoy!] (Girl)

[Thank you.] I said with a smile on my face. Before she left.

Potatoes? Those don't exist in Terraria.

[Can you afford that?] (Guy)

He raises his eyebrow.

I took a bite of the chicken. It's not bad at all a bit juicy too.

[So you said something about adventurers?] I said with my mouth full.

[Adventurers. yea it's a job. High-risk high reward.] (Guy)

[.....Why should I tell you?] (Guy)

I gulped in the chicken.

[....you said Adventurer is a job.....how can I join one?] (Me)

I grinned a little

He stared me for a couple of seconds before finally saying.

[Fine. I don't care what you do. You can become an adventurer at the adventurer guild. It's near the library, you can't miss it.] (Guy)

I finished my food and drank some water before going to the counter to pay.

[Would like to stay?] (Lady)

[Nah, I can go some days without sleeping.] (Me)

I waved my hand to the lady before leaving.
