(Evan POV) :

I cut down another zombie.

Finally, only 2 left. I have to build a shelter after this.

One of the zombies jumps at and instead of blocking or rolling out I surprise myself by going forward and grabbing him in the air and slamming him the ground.

Woah, that was awesome.

I impaled the downed zombie with my burning sword and the got ready to fight the last one. I had my burning sword on my right hand and the copper shortsword in the other.

Before I charged at him I think I saw the bushes move.

My 6th sense is tingling.

I somersaulted out of harm's way. And there was another zombie now on the place where I was standing.

A new one, huh?

The new zombie was grabbing the shoulder of what seems to be another zombie's arm.

Sh*t its an elite. He has a longer range because of a weapon. The only reason I could beat the other zombies was cause I had a 2-meter long sword and could take care of them from a distance.

Can I take care of him?

both of the zombies tried to lunge at me. I somersault out of the way and switched from the shortsword to the wand.

Right now I need to take care of them from a distance.

I used the wand on the elite who was lit up from the spark. And hit the normal zombie 2 times with my burning sword.

The normal zombie is almost dead. But the elite tried to hit me with his extra range.

I parried at the right time.

The zombie was charging at me.

I got into a weird stance where my burning sword was lowered and behind me.

The moment the zombie reached my range. I twirled, bringing the sword from behind me to in front and hitting the zombie with a powerful vertical strike.

It hit the zombie and he flew away before dying and leaving some silver coins.

Holysh*t. THAT WAS AWESOME!

Huh? I just noticed now but all corpses vanished into some type of smoke. Why?

I got overconfident and faced the elite.

The elite has around 100-200 HP in expert mode I've dealt some hits but his HP hasn't even reached 50% yet best do this quickly before more of em comes.

Since high rise can launch them back It can give me enough distance so I can use the bow and take care of him from away.

Just as I thought that.

*Highrise (cooldown) : 21 seconds *

OF COURSE, THERE IS A COOLDOWN!

The elite ran towards me so I shifted myself to the side slightly just so I can counter him easily.

*Skill unlocked: Side step*

(.... Wut?)

The zombie missed and lost his balance so I first started with the Thrust skill.

After gaining some distance I kept using the wand.

Good thing the wand doesn't take much mana.

Now that I think about it why did I start with 40 mana?

You always start the game with 20 mana.

*After some time*

I grew more overconfident. Couldn't help it. It was just me and the elite and elite was almost dead.

I failed to notice another zombie coming from behind.

Now I really need a plan.

I can maybe get the zombie arm from the almost dead elite. With it, I only need to hit the other elite a few times to kill him. Yeah, let's stick to that.

The new zombie charged at me but I stepped out of his way and charged at the almost dead elite but he retaliated with a jump.

I tried to think of what happened and a menu showed up.
