As she was rushing to meet Topaz, she missed her step and almost fell but she was able to grab a pole so she didn't fall, she went to meet him, he told her sorry for almost falling, she said thanks then she noticed he was just staring at her, she then raised her hand and waved it across his face, that made him come back to his senses then he smiled. He then said "Bella what am about to tell u might be the end of our friendship or might be the beginning of another thing, "she sighed. He then continued "I don't know if what I would say would make you slap me, see Bella (with a serious face) I have not dated in my life before, I want to know what dating is.Bella was listening, she was shocked, in her mind she was like I told this guy my past, he even knows that am not a good person, everyone is telling him to stay away from him and he is still asking me out? she didn't even know when tears started dropping. Topaz not looking up said to her "Bella the conclusion of the whole matter is that AM IN LOVE WITH YOU. immediately Bella's senses came back, she was suprised, she then saw Topaz run to the back of the well that was in front of the dinning, he brought out a rose flower which was her best and also an handkerchief, it was as if they increased the gear, she started crying like a child, she was too surprised,she didnt expect him asking her out even though she suspected earlier, he gave them to her and she collected, she totally forgot about her food, she didn't say yes or no. Topaz was worried because she was crying but he understood in a way, he just told her to go to the hostel and they would discuss tomorrow,she just nodded and left, when she got to the middle of the road, she experienced this joy in her, she felt like she was saved and protected from danger and she didn't know why she had that feeling, after sometime she then remembered she forgot about her food and she was the only one around because others ate and left, she didn't know what made her run back, she saw Topaz sitting down, she went to his front, smiled and ran back,this time around it was straight to the hostel.
