37 Author's POV#9: Busy Life of a Wooty Writer
Ugh, damn. I am so sleepy. I opened my eyes and saw that the sun is already up in the sky. 'Ugh, its already morning?' I rubbed my eyes and check my phone. Its 9 in the morning. 'Ugh, did I wake up too late or too early?' The first thing I did is to lay back in bed, but after a few minutes, I gave up. Its no use to sleep again.
I quickly did my morning exercise in hopes of getting myself a six-pack abs, since what is reflected on my abdomen is a single pack of ab. In short, I don't have one. After doing those, I also began to listen to the daily ramblings of my mother, while eating breakfast, while watching my daily dose of anime. After a few episodes, I decided to take a bath. Its pretty cold, but I reek of sweat. Of course, I can't stay like that.
[Elyon's Notes: Dafuq, you mad bruh?]
It's been a few months since I last touched a game on my PC and mobile phone. I had not played Rune Factory. Ugh, but my loyal readers are waiting for my update.
"Hey! You dumbass, come here and watch your nephew because I am going to wash his clothes!" My sister shouted.
'Ugh, seriously? I was just about to type a word, and you tell me to watch over your kid?'
I can only frown at this sudden turn of event. I waited for an hour before my sister finished the laundry. My one-year-old nephew did what one-year-old children do best, and that is to pee and poop.
3 hours later...
While the discord chatroom is loading, I opened my novel and checked if I climbed the ranks.
'Ugh, my rank fell down'.
It was very depressing so I decided to check if anyone left a comment on my story.
I sighed for the umpteenth time and decided to have lunch instead. At least, eating won't make me feel depressed. While I was eating, I realized that my daily goal had not been met. I hurriedly finished my lunch and poured everything in writing my story.
As if waiting for that cue, my sister opened the television and turned the volume to max.
...
...
...
Fck! How can I write anything at this rate? For a brief moment, I had the strong urge to punch our television so I can have a moment of peace and quiet! How can I write in this environment?!
"Uwaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!" My nephew cried.
"F*ck my life..."
My motivation lost, my willpower drained, I decided to just mess on the writer's discord chat room. After a few minutes of mindless chatting, I decided to read my fellow author's stories. I started with Bajj's novel (Good Girl Gone Bad: Queen of the Underworld). After using a bit of my spirit stones, I jumped to Elyon's Novel (Webnovel Writer's Chatgroup).
Evening came and my father arrived home. Everyone ate dinner together and I turned off my PC. We did the dishes before hitting the sack. Of course, my day has only just begun. When everyone was asleep, I slowly sneaked out of my room and grabbed my tablet in my sister's room. She borrowed it from me earlier, but didn't return it afterward.
I went to the kitchen to grab some caffeine inducing snacks and made my way back to my room. If this was a game, I would have leveled up my "sneaking skills" to the max. Surprisingly, without this skill I managed to maneuver in the house undetected by my family.
[Elyon's Notes: What the F…is Somatosenation? I'll check it out later]
I asked myself while writing, 'Why did I write this?'
Ugh, I felt my head hurting in the process of trying to recall my state of mind when I started writing my first novel. Ok! Stop! No more reminiscing!
'What's next on my Agenda?'
Ah, right it's my game novel's turn. Honestly, I'm so well versed in online games to the point that I skipped classes back in high school just to play them. Thinking back, it was a pointless thing to do.
[Elyon's Notes: Kids, don't be like him. Skipping classes is bad!]
I switched to my third novel, It's my zombie apocalypse novel (Outbreak Chronicles: Dead Pandemic). I made the MC based on my delinquent past. Oh yeah, to those who have read my novel, the beanie is still alive, but the headphones are broken.
The fourth novel is just some random thought that passed my mind. I thought it would be a good story so I decided to write it. I mean, slamming a book to an animal and getting their data recorded is an interesting idea no?
'Ugh, what the hell was I thinking back then?'
In the end, my caffeine inducing snacks lost their effect, as my eyelids drooped from time to time.
'Ghosts are bullcrap.' I have seen a few during my night sessions. I usually tolerate them, but sometimes I felt so angry that I swiped at them.
'What? You think I'm kidding? I can see ghosts, but I got used to them. Now, I only get the lulz instead of shivers.'
'F*ckers! You're being busy bodies today! Why don't you go haunt others for a change of pace? Just don't disturb me while I'm writing!'
Just because my sister dumped all her chores on me, I ended using my precious hours of sleep to write.
I finally reached my goal and went to sleep. I woke up at nine in the morning feeling groggy due to my late night activities.
Another day has come, and it will just be another repeat of yesterday.
'F*ck My Life.'
