13 Chapter 11.5 Jirou's Revelation

4 minutes before Kaminari released his explosion, Jirou was walking up the stairs in the main building of the school. Kaminari probably tricked me into coming up here, Jirou thought to herself. Jirou got to the floor where their homeroom was, still feeling a bit sore from all the combat training they did during the week. If there isn't actually a diary in his desk, I am going to hurt him. Jirou told herself as she walked over to Kaminari's desk. She had done a few pranks on Kaminari by putting things in his desk before so she already knew the layout of it. Jirou pulled open the desk and saw a new book she's never seen before. Huh? This book wasn't here before…maybe he was hiding it in his locker? Jirou pondered. She smelled hints of the hair gel, deodorant, and cologne Kaminari liked to wear as she opened the desk. As tacky as the product he used were I sort of…liked them. She thought to herself as she took the book out of his desk drawer. I don't know why I'm thinking about this. He's a guy who tries to be cool and follows trends. His taste in girls is probably the same. He'll like the most attractive body type. Slim waist, big boobs, normal ears…nothing that looks like me… She contemplated to herself. She let out a sigh and saw that the book had a bookmark on it labeled "Jirou." This must be the page he wants me to read. I should look through the rest of the book though… She began to snicker to herself. Let me read the page he wants me to first. She opened the maroon book over to the page that was book marked for her. It was the most recent entry dated… in fact it was dated today about an hour ago. It had to have been written during homeroom. Kaminari's handwriting is pretty bad but this looks like his writing when he's rushing to write something like how he decides to write papers 1 hour before it's due. Why would he rush to write this… Jirou wondered as she began reading.

"Dear Jirou, today will be a dark day. We will probably never see each other again, or at least not on the same side." Not on the same side? What the hell is he talking about… Jirou asked herself. She continued reading. As you know UA has constantly been attacked by the League of Villains. The league always seems to have great plans to hurt Class 1A and the school…I am the reason…I have been leaking information to the League from the very beginning using some of the true abilities of my quirk like electromagnetic communication." Jirou's eyes widened and she began to have staggered breathing. "I was never on the heroes side to begin with…I don't have time to explain it here but my family was destroyed by this disgusting hero society so I want to change it. The League of Villains is the way to destroy the society. First, you have to destroy a society to begin changing it. I am telling you all this because I didn't think I'd meet heroes that I actually like. You, Bakugo, and Kirishima are people who actually gave me some hope in the hero society… and I wish I could take back my actions against you all, but I am in far too deep to turn back. I made you come up here to get this note to protect you from what will happen today because I love you and I can't hurt you." Jirou started to cry. She couldn't even fathom what she was reading. She read the last line. "Please, go find the bunker that Class B will be in to be safe. I want you to live and see this new era that I will help create." This...This has to be a sick joke right?! Jirou's eyes continued release tears. There's no way this real. Kaminari…Is the Kaminari I know even real?! Just as she finished that thought she heard the UA alarm sound. She looked out the window and saw an army of Nomu coming out of trucks, at least 50 of them.

"What in the world?! Why are all these Nomu-" Jirou began to exclaim as all of the Nomu then all suddenly went into different directions. Some leaped straight into the buildings across UA, others flew and others ran. Before Jirou could even react to the Nomu, a massive tremor engulfed the school, almost causing her to fall over. She saw that tremor was caused by a massive explosion from the gym where the fair was taking place. It was an electrical explosion. It was at the sight of explosion and the Nomu that caused Jirou to understand everything Kaminari wrote was real. She wanted to grieve Class 1A and Kaminari's betrayal but she stopped herself. Subconsciously, she knew that if she thought about all this, she'd have a nervous breakdown and she can't do that yet. It's time for her to act. It's time to be a hero. The nurse will be a primary target for an organized assault on UA. After all, she can heal a lot of the injuries. I need to get Recovery Girl first. Jirou thought to herself ignoring her grief, she ran down one floor as fast as she could. She stopped at the wall separating the floor that Recovery girl was on and the staircase. There was so much noise and disruption coming from the Nomu destroying things and the UA alarm but she was able to focus her hearing with her Earphone Jack quirk to hear what was on the other side of wall. Four Nomu… 3 huge ones and a medium sized one…heading in the direction of Recovery Girls office. I don't know their quirks and I'm not exactly a combat specialist. I need to be very careful as to how I do this. Recovery Girl was trying to escape into the shelter like she was supposed to, but the UA alarm went off way too late for an old lady like her to make it to her shelter before the Nomu came to her. Even worse, Eri was with her. Recovery Girl quickly stepped out of her office and heard the 4 Nomu rushing down the hallway; she needed to go to get to her shelter. She quickly went back in her office and locked the door. Shit. What can I do?! I can't fight these things! Recovery Girl turned and saw Eri holding her hand, scared. She then looked out the window.

"Eri, listen. I'm going to throw the medical beds out the window. I am going to jump out of the window and land on one of them. I'll move the two beds together when I land to create a better cushion for you. You jump out the window and onto the beds after I do this. It may hurt but you'll have a better chance of running away." Recovery Girl grabbed one of the beds and started towards the window.

Eri began to cry. "Won't it hurt you a lot to jump out the window and land one bed if it'll hurt me to land on two?!"

"Don't worry about that Eri! An old lady like me should put herself before a young girl like you. You are the next generation and it's my job to protect you!" Recovery Girl threw both beds out the window. The Nomu arrived on the other side of the door and punched a hole through it. Recovery Girl climbed to the window to jump but right before she did she heard a voice.

"Heartbeat Fuzz!" The floor in front of Eri and Recovery Girl instantly collapsed and Eri began to scream. The Nomu fell through the floor along with the wall separating the hallway and the nurse's office. The debris from the wall fell on top of the Nomu and Jirou was at the classroom under the nursing office. Jirou had ran down to the floor under the nurse's office floor and used her quirk to destroy the floor under the Nomu as they got to the nurse's office. She had to make sure Eri and Recovery Girl were far enough from the wall separating the hallway and the nursing offices so that she didn't hurt them. Applying her quirk this way is massively dangerous as she could potentially hurt civilians on the floor above her and cause debris to collapse on herself. However, this extreme situation allowed her to be able to control the vibrations she caused well enough to only collapse the floor directly under the Nomu as well as the weakened wall that the Nomu just smashed in. She jumped away as soon as she used this attack to avoid burying herself but she was still hit by some of the debris. The smoke cleared up and Eri and Recovery Girl saw Jirou lying on the floor bleeding. Eri began to cry. A moment after this, a loud, vile, distorted roar echoed louder than the alarm throughout the school. Massive herds of animals began to make panicking noises and flock away from UA. This roar only made Eri even more afraid.

"Jirou! Are you ok?!" Eri yelled with tears coming out her eyes.

Jiro weakly began to stand up. "I'm…I'm fine. You two… need to escape to your shelters where you'll be safe." A moment after Jirou finished this sentence the four Nomu exploded out of the debris, their eyes set on Eri and Recovery Girl. Jirou, even though she was greatly weaken from the debris hitting her in the head, leaped forward and grabbed two of the Nomu's heads while plugging her earphone jacks to her amplifiers jacks. "Heartbeat Pressure!" Jirou began to scream. Suddenly massive vibrations left her hands destroying the Nomu's brains and severely damaging the walls of the classroom below. Heartbeat Pressure is a move that Jirou's been working on that not only amplifies the sound of her heartbeat but also the sounds of her lungs vibrating when she screams. This amplification creates massive vibrations that not even a normal Nomu can withstand. It was an attack she came with up after being inspired by Present Mic. However, the side effects of this attack are not pleasant. Jirou fell to the ground. Her throat was throbbing with a sharp pain and her heart felt like it was going to explode. She was panting and coughing. She had never done the attack at that caliber but she had to make sure the Nomu would be defeated. Unfortunately, using that attack to that degree hurt her lungs and almost killed her by heart attack. And with all these side effects, one has to remember; she only defeated two nomu. There were four. The medium sized Nomu kicked Jirou into the wall like a soccer ball shattering her ribs. The two Nomu began to walk over to Jirou to finish her off. Jirou could not even speak anymore but she grabbed a desk to pull herself up again. She gave an All Might like fake smile to Eri who watched in horror, then Jirou began to shu Eri away. Eri turned around, receiving the message still quivering. Recovery Girl jumped out the window. The Nomu were going to beat Jirou to death but that was ok as long as she held them up enough for Eri and Recovery Girl to escape. As the Nomu came closer to kill her, Jirou's hairs stood up and she began to get chills. Is this because I'm afraid to die? No… that's not it. Suddenly, a powerful gust of wind blew through the window and into the area this was taking place in. Jirou looked up and saw that Recovery Girl had reappeared and was confused face. There was a distorted grunt and then a crash over to the right of the room. Jirou turned to her front and saw a Nomu was swinging at her but the other one disappeared to the right of the room with the sound of that distorted grunt and explosive wind pressure. Jirou had just enough time to glance at the right side of room and see the Nomu was laying lifeless in the hallway outside the classroom, it's head completely separated from its body; as in the Nomu was knocked through the classroom wall and decapitated in an instant. She heard the last Nomus punch hit something but she felt no pain. She did not move. The Nomu didn't punch her. She heard snarls and growls from directly in front of her like a rabid animal. She turned her head back to the Nomu only to see the back of a monstrous figure.

"Sleep." The figure said in a distorted, animalistic voice and almost in an instant, the monster swung its claws slashing the Nomu's head came clean off its shoulders.
