Before he could open his mouth to say something, the Housekeeper rushed in with three elderly maids behind her all with fixated beaming secretive smiles. They bowed to Li Yuan who raised a brow in question.

The Housekeeper placed the tray in her hand in front of Lei Xinyi and the other followed suit who looked at her confused with water from her glass still in her mouth.

The Housekeeper smiled fondly at her, Lei Xinyi had to blink several times to make sure she was seeing right. Did the cranky old lady just smile at her? It sure looks like out of a horror movie!

"Young Master Li, these... tonics will help strengthen Madam Lei's body." Lei Xinyi broke out in a fit of coughs choking on the water.

Lei Xinyi turned redder than she was, if that was possible. Every damn instinct was telling her now was the time to bite her tongue and die of embarrassment. It was utter humiliation, Did she... Did she really say that?! That too in front of everyone!

The terror etched on her face was visible to every person in the room. How did they even come to this conclusion?!

Tonics? And strengthening her body?!

Were they assuming that they had s*x and… and… GOD! She had no sense of modesty or privacy left! Arghh… Her life was officially ruined!

Her eyes went down to her see attire and then her haggard state in the clock glass. She scrunched her eyes in embarrassment. Now Li Yuan will think she was some scheming desperate wh*re who was making everyone think that they had s*x!

Li Yuan sat there with a blank look on his face too astounded to react. With her shocked expression, she finally pushed past the Housekeeper and ran out of the dining room.

The Housekeeper looked stunned for a moment then dashed past her, "Don't need to be shy, Madam Lei! The tonic is a herbal recipe in the Li s Household for ages. It will be helpful in…" Her voice dulled as she disappeared behind the door.

He sighed in irritation and rubbed his temples for the headache that was ragging. 

By the way, she was acting, he knew she was trying to avoid him but he had just finished as her time was cut where he taught her so he arrived for the breakfast early.

She must have miscalculated the time and had hurried to breakfast and then sleep again or get out of his sight.

In a hurry to eat and disappear, she would have come down hastily without leisurely bathing or changing to have breakfast but Li Qiang came then and stopped her.

The servants who would have noticed the occurrence would have assumed that it was because she was 'tired' that she didn't attend the gym today and pieced it all together.

He literally had no patience with all this drama right now.

His sexuality and performing ability being questioned wasn't enough now he would even s have to inform his staff if he had s*x with her or not?!

He gritted his teeth. The woman sure had ways to mess up with his head! With a strangled sigh he decided he would let her deal with it all.

The woman was too vain for her own good. If she had enough time to conjure evidence about his non-existence impotency. She better deal with this cr*p herself! If a day before she had asked him to get a job, he would have freaked out but if she asked. Now he would even be her pick and drop service!

He realized she was hazardously risky when she was left alone with her brain, last time he did, she made an escape plan, and now his impotency…

As he was thinking about hiring her back in his office, where she did nothing but waste staple pins and made horrible drawings on rejected proposals, his brother cleared his throat awkwardly to get his attention.

"So… Big Brother, I will come maybe later for the… condo?" His brother asked hesitantly.

He glared at him for the sickly sweet puppy show he put in front of Lei Xinyi. The woman was really pushing him far and every time he was an inch away from making sure she knows where she belonged. She either had her crumbled independent woman card or her insanity card would pop up in the background.

Times like this he wanted to strangle him for falling for her and before that strangle her for making his once peaceful and calm life an amusement park.

He sure would vouch to die with her. Her corpse will keep her mouths shut and will have no place to run! His fist clenched as his thought proceeded, he would make sure they had one coffin, and then that infuriating woman will be f"*cking trapped with him forever! Then he will see how she fusses or cusses then!

Li Qiang had sweat beaded on his forehead. His brother was glaring at the front wall like he wanted to drill in it. And if that protruding vein in his brother's head was an indication, he was livid and he could bet on his life it had everything to do with the woman that just left the table.

He cleared his throat to get the attention of his brother who was suffocating the air out of the room with his morbid thoughts "Umm… so I will come later?"

Li Yuan snapped his murderous glare at him and was about to tell him to never come back but then a new headache hit him. The impatient woman wouldn't wait and do yet another thing to risk him an untimely stroke.

"Stay here," He pointed to the dining room, his brother hesitantly nodded, "Inform the Housekeeper to tell her." He hadn't told her yesterday as it was too eventful to schedule his plans.

With that, his brother left him alone and he had to wait almost an hour and a half. He huffed and cursed but didn't dare leave the dining room or complain in fear his sister-in-law will hear.

After making him almost sleep in her wait, she came out dressed as amicably light yet confident. He could tell she was well-bred and if he didn't know she was his brother's fiancé, he would think an angel!

You could tell if a duck was fawning swan feathers but she was something else... he was entranced as he watched her walk to him. Only when she clicked her fingers to get his attention did he break out of his reverie.

He instantly turned red and laughed humorlessly, "You sure are a beauty Queen. You should debut as an actor. You will give them a run for their money!"

Lei Xinyi snorted and playfully smacked his arm, but it didn't look playful. It hurt hard! Li Qiang bit his tongue to hold back a shriek.

"Aren't you just too much of a flower boy?" He grinned, though he didn't get it, he was just too happy to get something like a compliment from his dream girl.

Lei Xinyi rolled his eyes and motioned him to come, "Be careful flower boy, Bees sting." It sounded like a suppressed warning but he was too awe-struck to notice.

She was out in a minute to see another of her fanboy, Qin Shen and Qin Wentian and her eyes widened. Qin Shen's lip was busted and cheeks were black and blue and his left eye… Dear GOD! His left eye was like a black patch of skin only left and swollen to the point his eye could barely be seen!

His pretty face was ruined and his broken was hanging by his neck! Lei Xinyi felt s the instants need to scratch the face of the one who did that to him.

Lei Xinyi gasped and took fast strides to him, "Who the f*ck did dare do that to you?!" she spats as her rage incensed her entire being.

Lu Qiang was stunned by her side looking at the fierce warrior with humor from years ago in a... condition like this.

Her mama chicken instincts took over; looking at the injured chick she had taken under her wing. Her blood boiled in wrath and she wanted blood!

Qin Wentian rolled his eyes in the background. The childish man had suffered worse before. He was given a pay rise and the week off but he insisted on sitting on the shotgun seat to attain 'justice' for him and his lawyers here was Madams Lei.

Qin Shen's jutted out his busted lower lip and burst out in tear-dry sobs. He held her hand like a bullied child, "Sis Yi, you have to get me justice! I am wronged!"

Lei Xinyi replied with a determined nod, "I will, just tell me his name. I will make sure his one kidney and both eyes are sold in black Markets by the next morning!" She patted his hand in assurance.

Qin Wentian's eyes widened in horror and Qin Shen's eyes were gleaming in happiness looking at his Mama Chicken and Li Qiang looked ready to pass out by her words.
