319 That Fiancé

Su Qing sat there gaping at her with eyes frantically dangling between the ring as if her finger was chopped off and then Lei Xinyi's calm smile like her lips were sewed and when finally it registered she choked hard and hardly wheezed out, "Yo...You are going to marry him?!"

She wasn't or maybe she will all depend on her mood the fine morning... 

Lei Xinyi frowned at her rather an over-the-top reaction, "What is wrong with that? It's okay,` if I want to experience that!" She retorted almost getting defensive.

The fact was that she wasn't serious about it at all. And all that mattered was that she was getting out of this mess. Li Yuan wasn't the kind of guy to marry especially when he hadn't even led her on to think that. What she saw was that he was a bored rich guy and he didn't want her anything more than a companion and she was good at that!

Or perhaps it wasn't that but he was too hard to comprehend so she had stopped trying, to a level at least.

Su Qing blinked unable to believe what she was hearing. The woman was talking about marriage like it was skiing and she wanted to experience it! She didn't even seem half-as* sober about it!

Now all the rumors didn't seem too baseless! Of course, where there was smoke, there was fire!

Su Qing shook her head in exasperation, and spoke vehemently, "Do you even realize what you have agreed to? Marriage is no game, once you are in it, you are in it for life! And what? You have decided to settle down and he decided to settle down? Am I having some crazy sh*t dream or are you both nuts?"

Lei Xinyi derided and swatted her hand in the air with an eye roll to her exasperation, "I know what marriage entails." She didn't. she had no f*cking idea! "But there are divorces and I don't really think that this show will roll to the altar anyway."

Lei Xinyi was convinced that it was just a phase and even if it wasn't, a man like Li Yuan hardly stuck over a woman like her for too long or at any woman in general. She will just have to wait till it fades. Besides… she liked him enough to stay with him for a couple of years and who knows after that she would even be alive?

Though... he was handsome and made her feel things but... she didn't want a man who had a pendulum affection to struck for life. She would rather not expect then have her heartbroken over it all!

But in all of this fiasco, she wasn't still sure if he was getting it from somewhere. If he was then she would throw his proposal out of the window. She didn't give second chances and certainly didn't believe in having a person who you always have to keep an eye on.

It was tedious and it wasn't like her to run after a man especially one that had the capacity to bear several pussies at a time. She didn't take off someone's else leftovers, either they are hers for life or they aren't there at all.

Su Qing was probably blown out of her mind at her cool about it like she was getting a pet and not a husband! And above it all, she was talking about marrying one of the most influential and wealthy men on the planet!

Bewildered, Su Qing yelled out, "But…But you have a fiancé already!"

"He..." She uttered his name like she just remembered about him then frowned her brows in thought. She often forgot about her that fiancé but now that she remembered... he was an issue here.

The problem was, she wasn't sure about relationships at all, all she was confident about was the gains out of her association with him. As long as she was by his side, she was untouchable, literally. Her adopted family, her Fiancé crime family, her clan, the underworld, The Yu's, and the Lu's were all but puppets as long as she had the entry pass to this Mansion.

Against the material problems that are being resolved for her, this is all trivial. But Su Qing didn't need to know that, nobody did. She didn't believe in sharing or discussing her life with a third person, the less the people know, the better it is for both parties.

"Well, he will have to be dealt with." She muttered under her breath with her brows knitted together. 

Her that fiancé was like UTI, like totally shitting with her whole life and she would prefer if he was found on an abandoned area road-kill but him being hit by a truck and fracturing the lower part of his body worked too.

Su Qing opened her mouth to her tell how sketchy that sounded: A man like Li Yuan wouldn't just hand over a ring, like candy on Halloween! If he gave her one meant that she was in deep-shit...

Everyone but Lei Xinyi could see the obsessed look he stares at her with and Su Qing had only seen him once and she could tell; It was freaking saying something! The way he undressed her with his eyes whenever she wasn't looking like he wanted to devour her: like she was the last vagina on Earth and he was sexually frustrated!

But before she could voice her diagnosis of him being an obsessed sociopath, they heard footsteps from the stairs.

Qin Shen and Qin Wentian were walking by Ji Zhou and discussing security protocols of the perimeters of the Mansion as their eyes shifted to where they were, Lei Xinyi heard a squeak and then what sounded like…wheezing followed.

Their heads turned to see the newcomers. Both men's eyes were hooded with boredom as they were gazing at Qin Shen who looked like he was paralysis attack or something with his mouth agape and eyes wide looking at Su Qing.

Involuntary her eyes rolled in exasperation. She almost forgot she had vowed to let Qin Shen meet 'his love' aka Su Qing, the movie star. 

Talking about Su Qing, she gasped from beside her and shouted at Lei Xinyi, "Lei Xinyi! He is having a stroke, do something!"

Rolling her eyes she stood and aided him by pushing him hard. He fell by Su Qing's feet with a goofy smile while Su Qing gulped in shock. Lei Xinyi had to be honest, he did look like he was possessed.

"I officially introduced you to the Elite Agent Qin Shen who had gone through several James Bond sh*t and came out in one piece as you can see!" She introduced him to her and Su Qing looked like she was more spooked than charmed.

"I am your biggest fan! I cried hours when you died and mourned you for months! In the film but still, you could die anytime…" Finally back in his senses, he started spouting and rambling about crazy things, kicking to curb any chance that he had with her.

She decided to give him privacy to make a fool out of himself. She took confident strides to where Ji Zhou was with a small smile. Qin Wentian saw her point of focus and excused himself like the decent man he was. Such a sweetheart!

He stood frozen in caution like she was Medusa and intended to stone him to death with her stare. Lei Xinyi persisted in her fake smile as she stood by him.

He had come to pick some confidential files and drop by the dried-fruits Li Yuan had sent for her. She analyzed his defensive position and almost wanted to roll her eyes. She wasn't crack, who could attack him anytime! 

With a sigh, she dropped the façade, it was clear he wasn't buying it, she dead-panned instead, "I need you for something."
