318 Dissecting Subject: Yu Youhan

"You know, I always thought he was going to get a surrogate to give him an heir with specification about the color hairs he wanted with features and all. Freak-show!"

Su Qing had always thought like that about her off-and-on boyfriend's elder brother. He was too rigid and strict to be a lover or even a father. Usually, when you looked at him, you can see the stick that was too far in his as* sticking out, on several occasions.

And the placidness on his face told you 'Stay away I am a square!'. Despite his being an eye-candy neither Lei Xinyi nor Su Qing ever had a crush on him.

Lei Xinyi took another spoon of the pastries. This is what she liked about training with Li Yuan, no matter what she shoves in her mouth she wasn't getting fat.

She shrugged with a mocking smirk, "And I was convinced he was going to hire me someday to make a clone of himself to succeed him and then tattoo on his back 'FYI, because I know there can't be a better genetic combination than me!'"

Su Qing paused to think a little then realized, he could probably do that, "That's going to make a scandal though. The Lu girl was his cousin's fiancé like all her like."

Lei Xinyi snorted and waved her away taunting, "They are the filthy rich kind and on top of that deranged, these men practically own the air we breathe. Not even whisper will follow in fear that it reaches them."

When she was saying that she was just relaying the truth. They were feared and no one dared mess with them in fear that they may inflate their wrath. No matter how they operated when they went to war, they went for it together! 

She hummed and took some imported dried fruits from the table. The delicacies weren't something that she had seen before but by the way Lei Xinyi was throwing them to the swans below, they must be common for her. They looked like imported from Africa or something.

"The Lu girl-Do you think she can handle him? You know, it can very well be a kink for Yu Youhan. I daresay she wouldn't survive a day with all the roasting in society." She pointed quizzically.

It wasn't common knowledge but Su Qing literally grew up playing in their backyard all her life and she knew them pretty well. Yu Youhan never did relationships, instead kept mistress to entertain his vanity.

Lei Xinyi shrugged with an unconcerned look, "Yu Youhan isn't a guy who makes decisions on whims, he..." She thought for a while then shook her head, having assessed him, "He is that clever fox that has his next nine lives planned. Though I like the girl a little too much, I wouldn't want to interfere in her life especially, with that ogre, least he comes to bite my as*."

Her brows met quizzically at her dismissing answer. Weren't they supposed to guide the naive woman? So why were they not interfering, "I don't really think that is because of love." Lei Xinyi scoffed at the absurd word she had voiced out, "How I see is… the girl is beautiful and dumb so he could very well be…"

"Playing with her?" Lei Xinyi provided by cutting her off and completing her sentence with an eye roll, "First off, I am not really interested to interfere with people f*cklife…"

"Love life!" Su Qing interjected, disconcerted.

With a scoff, she waved it off, "The same thing! The girl needs to see the world for herself. If we escort her everywhere, this is what she will do all her life: Be escorted everywhere. If the relationship works out, she will get the preeminent man off the market and if it doesn't then she will get a heartbreak which is part of growing up! End of story!"

Su Qing stayed silent for a while then quietly spoke, "You care about her." It was a statement rather than a question, she knew what she was talking about. "Or… you pity her!" She countered her own thought with a sneer.

It was a thing about Lei Xinyi many didn't know, she liked taking under her wing the neglects of society, the broken lost souls.

They reminded her about herself and she liked repairing them because that is what she did best, mend the broken. All her life she had mended bodies only to see them rot and then she started healing spirits.

He Zheng, a troubled teenager who was a rape-child with an abusive father and a mother who was in an abusive relationship and broken beyond repair, and Su Qing who was suicidal and ex-AA.

Lei Xinyi had snapped with suppressed rage, "Drop it!" She gave her a half-hearted smirk then confirmed, "If I pitied anyone of you I would have freed you from this awful world."

Su Qing looked at her assessing her feature then opened her mouth to say something but decided against it. She was probably telling her the truth because she could kill her.

She hadn't seen her for almost a half month but lately, it felt more unusual to not know her whereabouts than knowing them. Curiously was gnawing on her brain cells. She wanted to know when she will be sprinting back in hiding but kept her curiosity to herself.

She looked around the balcony she was in, below was the breathtaking view of the expert hands of gardeners all over the world then her eyes moved to the magnificent resident people hadn't even seen in pictures but she lived here every day. The fact that was coarse was that Lei Xinyi hardly gave a flying f*ck about it all. Materialistic things were too lifeless for her to hold onto.

The one who didn't care had the world on her feet and those who did were being tossed from one bed to another. Crazed world.

It hadn't left her notice how the woman in front of her was dressed in the world-famous brand that even elites could hardly afford for occasions, it definitely was in her notice how she had all his Mansion at her disposal. Like she was the Madam of the Mansion!

Looking at her, you couldn't even think that she is a fugitive because she looked like a mother-f*cking Queen.

She sipped her tea with a thoughtful look while assessing her. She hadn't seen her this calm in so long but a question was burning behind her. What was she doing to get this?

Li Yuan-was a man with many faces but if you knew something general about him, it was that he never had value for his flings enough to bring them in his Mansion.

Actors, Models, Heiresses-none was good enough to get this treatment from him but here this woman had him wrapped around her little finger like it was f*cking vanilla love and not some self-destructive individuals banging each other brains out. 

What was she doing to him besides doing him? What did make her so different and unique for him to be treated like this?

More than envied she was skeptical and curious. Mainly she was worried about her. Lei Xinyi wasn't the kind of person who sticks to consistency or a routine. She got bored and that convinced her to do crazy things.

It was eventual she would get bored out of this lifestyle and Li Yaun.

But whatever she was doing to Li Yuan to keep him hanging on her like that could be dangerous when finally she will want nothing to do with him. 

It was obvious the man was possessive of her. The rumors about his ladylove had been flying around and it was definitely something he had arranged otherwise not even a word is spoken about him.

It was like he wanted everyone to know about it, about her! He was trying to chain her down, to make sure he was the dead-end of her tunnel no matter which route she took.

It was hard to understand, who was manipulating who or who was the one playing the other around. 

With a tired sigh, she placed her cup and turned to her, "Lei Xinyi, be honest. Are you sleeping with him?"

The serene smile on Lei Xinyi's face wiped and her expression turned blank. Did she want Su Qing to know about it or would it matter at all? She decided to be vague.

Contemplating for several seconds, she placed her hand with his ring on the table, "To answer your question: Yes, I do sleep with him and No, I am not having sex with your Big Boss."

Su Qing sat there gaping at her with eyes frantically dangling between the ring as if her finger was chopped off and then Lei Xinyi's calm smile like her lips were sewed and when finally it registered she choked hard and hardly wheezed out, "Yo...You are going to marry him?!"
