295 Meeting Future Mother-in Law

He dropped his gun and Lei Xinyi's hand went limp around the dagger.

Madam Li stood there with her jaw dropped and eyes wide open with the tray of breakfast trashed on her feet.

At once Lei Xinyi's eyes danced on their nudity and at their more than just compromising position. He was shirtless on her with his sweats pants doing little to hide his excitement. She was straddling his naked torso with her clothes riled up to her stomach, and… his left hand that was still groping her boob.

As the spell broke, now her indecent position was weighing on her.

She scrunched her eyes, hoping the ground will swallow her whole. In front of his mother… Arghh! She cursed under her breath. She at once pushed away from him as if he was plagued.

If the most embarrassed she had ever been was locked in a chest she would have thrown it in the sea that was out of the window.

She snatched the robe by the side and draped it around her indecent form. As the shame scald her skin she had pushed him away in the moment of distraction to glare at the mommy and mommy's boy duo.

She was utterly mortified and her cheeks were burning in embarrassment more than they were before under his heated stare.

Li Yuan who was caught off guard was sidetracked. He smirked and raised a brow at her then turned to his mother ever so calmly like he wasn't just caught almost having s*x or like he wasn't in bed with a woman who was supposed to be dead.

His nonchalance was tempting her to crash yet another lamp on his big head.

Madam Li stared between her son and the girl with her mouth agape, no word escaping.

"You… How is she…? What in the GOD name is going on?!" She shrieked about ready to collapse.

When she had heard her son was in his Beach Villa, she had thought that he was depressed and was finally getting over his loss but not in her wildest dream had she imagined her son tangled up in this heathen's spell all over again. 

The Housekeeper reported everything about him and it was beyond her how she could miss this 5 foot some inches tall detail! Useless swines! She couldn't rely on anybody!

She wanted to scratch the face of the ravished flushed enchantress. How desperate clingy was she to her only son!

Making breakfast in the early hours of dawn she had wished she would be able to cheer him up but it looks some wench was doing a better job cheering him up!

From here she could clearly see the markings on her body peeking from the robe which probably were the Masterpieces drawn by her dear son. It didn't take a genius to figure it all out. She was wearing his shirt, was in his bed in the early hours probably for another round. Harlot!

Her rage churned looking at the woman who had besotted her only son and he was wounded up all around her little finger now. A woman who was a criminal! A serial killer psychopath!

Lei Xinyi glared at him with an accusatory resenting and Li Yuan just smirked at her in raw amusement pouring on her. He got off the bed still shirtless and held her by the arm, dragging her to where his mother was.

Her mother gave her the most disgusted and hatred filled glare as her eyes zeroed on her neck where the dark hickies were evidence enough of her son's smittiness for the lass.

Lei Xinyi took a bored look at her then rolled her eyes looking down at her. Madam Li was rather shorter than her and even in her heels, Lei Xinyi was inches taller than her, and to be honest she was intimidating no one!

"You…!" Madam Li who was all sympathies for the dead girl was churning with wave after wave of rage looking at her with her son's arm draped around her. She took several steps in her direction before Lei Xinyi fixed her with a stare. She remembered the horror she had seen the woman was capable of Madam Li staggered in her steps and halted comprising to glare at her instead.

She would have had the woman begging she was never born if only she was one of the heiresses of the high society but she had to be an assassin or serial killer or whatever that she was!

She fixed her glare at her son instead who had brought her in front of her. If not for the child this woman… THE CHILD!

Then her eyes fell on her flat stomach and her hand flew to her mouth as a gasp of horror escaped, "Oh My Lord! You murderer! What did the innocent child ever do to you! All you had to do was give him birth bu… but you… You are a Monster!" She shouted through her tears about ready to leap on her but the maids held her back.

Lei Xinyi's eyes fell on Li Yuan who was stunned for a while. She crossed her arms on her chest and scowled at him. She swatted away her arm from his hold and walked to the dresser to get clothes. 

She was in no way interested in this family soap opera. It was his shit; he would do a good job taking care of it. She opened the dresser rubbing her head as Madam Li's cries got louder. She hissed in irritation. Melodramatic chemical mutation! Now she knew it ran in the family.

She took out casual attire as she was planning on visiting Lu Xinyi and hear whatever she was bluffing about yesterday night when she most probably had heard all that pg-18 soundtracks she and Li Yuan were making. Another thing to wish for the ground to open and swallow her whole!

She closed the dresser and leaned against the dresser to see Li Yuan hugging his mother as she cried about how a 'horrible' woman she was to have killed his unborn child and how she will be skinned and deep-fried in the hells for her 'sins'.

The maids were all ushered out from the room, mostly so her prodigy son could feed her yet another tale.

Lei Xinyi snorted at him and he pursed his lips telling her to keep it down. He kissed the crown of his mother's head causing Lei Xinyi to roll her eyes at the pair.

"Shhh, Mom… Lei Xinyi was too enthralled by the idea of our child too and she is immensely aggrieved too. She was even in threats to fall into desperation…"

Lei Xinyi scoffed and raised her brow to mock his half-ass lies. 'Depression your arse!' She mouthed, giving him a fly.

His jaw clenched at her antics but his mother didn't notice a thing as she had her back to Lei Xinyi. "…She had even bought clothes for our child but she had an accident and… the rest is history." He went on with his tale through gritted teeth.

Madam Li shook her head vehemently, "This witch has you besotted in her lies! It's in her blood, the deceit, the bloodlust, and monstrosity! Why can't you see it? She killed your child! Your heir! The heir to…"

"There was no child." Lei Xinyi's voice halted Madam Li's rant and she turned to her in revulsion.
