254 Owing A Fiancé

She knew she was hanging by a thin thread but her pride didn't let her falter or bow to the mighty man pulling her strings, "Owe you?! That is some preposterous multi-reality bullsh*t here! There is no way I owe you a 'Fiancé'! Whatever it was it's in the past! Cold, dead forgotten!"

A ridiculed smirk took over his features and he pulled her by her arm so she was in his arms and traced his cold index finger on her cheek. Lei Xinyi tried to push him away but he held her tight.

She was irritated and enraged about how the things have unfolded. This was not what her plans stated. And if it was just a favor then there was no guarantee that the transaction would go through after he knew things about her that she was hiding.

Not to mention that she couldn't fulfill her part of the bargain. She wanted to pull her hairs out, how can she become his fiancé when she was already engaged?! Nothing about the morals but this wasn't technically right!

The first thing that her father was going to do was take her engagement card out of the bag! And then she will be seen as a betrayal by him which would mean the deal would be off! Then she would have The King of Underworld on her back, there could have been alternatives to run from these men but if she would make an enemy out of Li Yuan she was as doomed!

Lei Xinyi fisted her hand and glared at him but to Li Yuan, it looked like she was struggling to be labeled.

His grip on her tightened that it was painful, Lei Xinyi bit her lip but didn't whimper in her stubbornness that would give him satisfaction. Her soft ample bosoms were pressed against his chest and it was riling his lust for her all over again.

Knowing the damage he was doing his sinister smirk widened, he leaned down close to her ear and huskily whispered, "Past, I like the sound of it. You see, Sweetheart. I have a way to make things… 'people' a past. So it's going to be a favorable condition for us if we stay rational. But you don't want that, do you?"

Lei Xinyi dug her nails in his arm but Li Yuan smirk didn't falter but a mischievous glint entered his eyes.

He was threatening to harm her relatives if she was to throw an outburst but she was already in a predicament. He f*cking wanted her to just nod her head like a puppet at every bullsh*t he spouts. So now she would give him everything that he wanted!

She scoffed and turned her sharp glare into narrowed slits, "How? How do I owe you a fiancé?"

He pecked her lips and looked at her with his eyes narrowed in slits too. He was dominating in his every act and this was an epitome of something with a peak, "Sweetheart, if it wasn't for your arrival we would have continued the 'hunt' and finally eventually caught that Raccoon fiancé of mine but now, now she is banging my cousin and I don't take leftovers off the family table which is directly a ball in your court."

She didn't know why but him calling his fiancé like that made her insecure heart heave a sigh of relief like it was an assurance of a kind. After all, the girl was a replica of her, she was bound to feel insecure or used.

Li Yaun let her go and at the loss of momentum, she staggered some steps backward. The door was knocked at the same time.

Giving one look at the door Li Yuan made his way toward the couch in her room, "Being dumped would not really do well on my image, now would it?" His neutral frank tone washed over her like a bucket of cold water waking her from her sweet dream.

Lei Xinyi had an urge to spit in his face and shout to the heavens to summon his soul than grill it till it is crispily burnt. So she was an end game to him, a way to prove a point?

In some corner of her hoaxed heart, she had a flicker of hope that he wanted it to be because he wanted her.

At once she felt like a used paper of tissue, like she was degraded to a cheap pompous woman. Like acidic disposal, it burnt her throat. She wanted to claw him to his bones for not thinking more of her, for thinking he could use her but than her reality fell on her like a slap on her face.

So all this intimacy, sweet sh*t talking was just luring her in… Was she just a game to him too? A way to prove his dominance to the world but then what was the ruffled, tired look in his eyes when he found her? What was the longing? Was it all just as faux as them?!

But wasn't it good? Better this way, that it was just an arrangement. It would give her the necessity of distraction. This is what both of them needed, she could shove this fake relation in her father's face and he could show it off to the world.

It was all a set game then why did she feel like clawing his heart out because it wasn't hers? Why was it that it felt like a betrayal?

Li Yuan saw the emotion coursed through her face and couldn't help but grin at her. He just needed this, these emotions on her, the hurt, the anger was the testimony of her heart that yearned for him as much as his did for her.

It was good for once the roles were reversed and she was the one who was being jealous, insecure, and feeling the burn of their fire. He too wanted her to yearn for him.

She was too smart and that wasn't too smart, she thought she was the one manipulating the flow of streams in the river but right now she was falling in his sea without even knowing about it.

This was all he needed to know of before he hands over his heart to his temptress, an exchange that she was ready to give in to him. For all her indifference and the placid look was worth, she felt something for him too.

Lei Xinyi neared the couch and was about ready for him to rip her heart and hand to her when the knock resounded again. She fisted her hands and gritted her teeth but allowed the person to enter.

Li Yuan was smirking at her in amusement and Lei Xinyi was sulking by glaring at the floor and pouting with her puffed cheeks.

The Housekeeper and the maids noticed the suspended thick, sexual tension in the air and hastily arranged the table. The Housekeeper glanced between them and analyzed the situation then shook her head lightly and sighed.

By the adoration in her Master's eyes, it felt as if he was watching a cub trying to be threatening while the sharp-tongued girl looked like she was bullied. It was obvious her Master was ruffling the little falcon's feather to get a reaction. She almost pitied the girl.

She hurried the maids out of the room knowing the climate was about to turn a stormy grey, especially when her Master denied a server for the night. Either they would fight or things will turn heated, or they will fight and things will turn heated... Either way nothing for foreign eyes.

Swallowing her pride and suffocating turmoil of emotions. Lei Xinyi turned her glare to the generator of her foul mechanism. Her words dripped with her most vicious venom dripping from her tone, "So…You want me to fake it?"

Her mouth was set in a scowl; Li Yuan couldn't help the smirk that widened on her face which to Lei Xinyi looked as if he was ridiculing her for thinking anything else of it. She was a second away from combusting from the fire that was heating her cheeks.

He expertly opened the wine bottle with the corkscrew and poured it in two glasses, he handed the glass to her which she made no effort of taking instead glared more, he clicked his tongue than kept it on the table.

He took a sip on his wine with the grace of an emperor and smirked in her direction "Tch…tch… No faking, sweetheart. Like our touches, caresses, and lips everything's as real as it can be." His voice was deep and his smirk pure seduction with a hint devilishness.

He was looking at the ceiling with his wine glass in his hand, his hair ruffled from her roughness and his naked torso; he was nothing less than a portrait more suggestive than naked Greek statures.

He was like the lord of darkness luring her to sin and she was more than ready to be something more than the recipient of his allure, she wanted to share it.

His both statement were opposite streams in a river with the same flow and his actions fell in another sea all together! She wanted to jerk him to his senses so he would tell her what he really wanted to get out of this.

But contrary to what her conscious spoke she was saner, and gritted, "You have no idea what you are going on about!" To which his smirk only widened.
