Lei Xinyi narrowed her eyes and smirked in mischief, now she knew she had to meet this woman who was a doppelganger of her and was probably banging Yu Youhan on her name.

Su Qing looked at the wheels turning in her head and scoffed, "All of this swap up doesn't explain why would Young Master Li personally go to rescue you like a damsel in distress then offer you outright to stay in his resident Manor!"

For the umpteenth time, Lei Xinyi sighed in irritation that afternoon but still responded grumpily, "Well…I am working as a personal Doctor to Li Yuan…"

He Zheng and Su Qing looked at her like she just confessed to swallowing her tongue along with the jelly she had eaten. Even to her ears, it didn't sound convincing now that she considered it.

Why would a man who could pay for a whole hospital in his attendance go all the way to search for a con artist to ravel her in luxury and make her his doctor?

She sharply gave her a pointed look, "It's neither a friendship nor is it a business deal! And I expect you to be wiser than that. Girl, why don't you see it, he is going to hurt you emotionally if not physically."

Lei Xinyi pursed her lips and looked away. Su Qing was right there was no denying it. They had always looked after each other but right now she had the urge to strangle Su Qing for her honesty and knee He Zheng for bringing her here.

She was a couple of years younger than Su Qing but even then it didn't give her the right to shove the truth in her face. It was a blunt truth concentrated to suffocate her.

After several seconds of silence, Lei Xinyi turned back to them with a determined face, "First off, I never judge you when you go for casual 'sexcapades' with that bastard Yu Jian so I expect the same treatment here. And whatever! What could it be at most?" 

She waved her hand in exasperation, "The pros will always exceed, and he is going to give me a clean slate, a new chance at life. That is far more than I deserve."

Su Qing grabbed her by her arm and shook her as she seethed in raw rage like a mother talking sense into her child, "Your father is going to kill you once he gets his hands on you for wh*ring around like that!"

Lei Xinyi froze momentarily before she nonchalantly rolled her eyes, "Humph! As if I give two f*cks!"

Su Qing narrowed her eyes and snarled, "And what about his fiancé, and what about YOUR fiancé?"

Lei Xinyi's fisted her hands as her face turned red in anger at the mention of the remains of her life that she had left behind her. The ugly reality that she was trying to escape was hovering over her head like her impending demise...

"Look, stop talking sh*t!" Lei Xinyi broke free from her and took several steps back to create a distance enough to breathe "It wasn't like I was ever going to marry him so let it go, Okay! And about the old man, I will deal with him once I face him which is far from my schedule."

He Zheng who was quiet for the whole quarrel, for a wake-up call intervened, somberly, "He wasn't looking for you, Ren... apparently he knew where you were."

Lei Xinyi stood there frozen in shock and horror at the revelation then shook her head and mumbled almost incoherently, "No wonder my stay was that luxurious." 

Her eyes moved frantically in panic and desperation. If her father knew where she was, it would change the whole scenario, the whole game would be reversed!

He would stop at nothing until he has at his home! He would come for her and then there would be hardly anything that she would have in her cards to stop him...

All these years of misery that she suffered will be in vain and she would be back in the life she resents!

She slumped down on the seat and buried her face in her hands, "I am done for it! The old man must be throwing another tantrum that I haven't contacted him and is ruining his name by stealing heirlooms, not to mention the... situation with Li Yuan, and Old Lei will tell him who took me…"

She groaned in frustration and picked the Skimmia 'Rubella' near her and flung it across the porch, "Arghhh…What am I to do now!" Lei Xinyi groaned and threw another flower pot on the front wall.

Su Qing and He Zheng shared a look of horror and gasped. She had a habit of breaking things in the immersion of anger and frustration but to think she would break something like this in the Li's Mansion...
