243 Nineteen-Year-Old Bra

Lei Xinyi gave him her best glare and hissed in suppressed rage, "We will talk about this later but for the record, it's still a 'No'. You are not mature enough and I don't want a teen b*tch knocked up when the father of the child hasn't spent even a proper decade without pacifiers of his own."

She had nothing against teen mothers but it was highly dim-witted and juvenile. Why ruin your life and the child's life when you are not even out of your houses in practical life yet?

And this boy in front of her was trouble enough. He had been doing all the shady works beside Li Yuan, the key; despite her warnings and restrictions. He just didn't know how to stay out of trouble!

"Ren! I…"

Lei Xinyi cut him off again, this time catching his ear and pulling on it, He Zheng cried out but she ignored him, "Enough Jun! You have been doing too many activities uncalled for and I am not letting it slide but right now I want you to focus on your application. You will be doing another major in the capital University and as well as work to pay for your expenses… legally."

He Zheng stared at her in shock and horror. She had called him 'Jun'. She hadn't called him that in decades so he knew it was serious.

She turned to Su Qing with narrowed eyes; it was obvious she wasn't very pleased with the supervision "Called Mr. Fu and freeze all his cards and tell his guards they are fired, he is here without them so they had done a sh*tty meager. Hire loyal men from syndicates this time who can handle him. Agencies are apparently slacking!"

Su Qing eyes widened but she nodded furiously. Lei Xinyi had always been lenient in the upbringing of He Zheng since his mother was found dead in a pond most probably finished off by his rapist father but that looked like was coming to an end.

He Zheng recovered and cried out in exasperation, "Ren! You can't do this, I am nineteen!"

Lei Xinyi quirked up her brow in a challenge, "Oh? What makes you think that?" She sighed and shook her head, "I warned you last time but you don't listen. You are grounded until I decide otherwise. And if you just kept in mind that you are 'just nineteen-year-old brat' we wouldn't be having this conversation at all!"

"Ren, I am…"

"Enough!" Her voice was calm but it shut him up. He picked the silent warning in her tone.

Li Yuan was standing by the wall listening to it all unfold while having a text discussion with his assistant, unconsciously his lips turned upward.

He was bothered by her concern for them; he should be her only priority. But he had foresight and patience, the best artillery for a predator.

Steadily and firmly, coiling with every second he will entrap her to him, building a cobweb for only him and her.

She was a strong woman who had a lot in life to be petrified and wary for in the direful vice life but she found light in the darkest of hours. He wouldn't take a piece of her world from her by making her friends-converted-siblings away from her. 

He was there to give her, not take away.

His Raven was revealing a new feather to him the more time he spent with her; she was caring yet strict in the right set of lines. It showed her protectiveness and parental qualities. 'She would be a good mother to their children.' He smirked at the thought.

Her siblings weren't a bother. Once she was busy with their future family, she will eventually have less time for them and their lives from now were bound to turn busy…

Lei Xinyi turned to Su Qing with her impassive face, "Are you taking your medicines?" Su Qing nodded with a little hesitation; Lei Xinyi narrowed her eyes but didn't say anything.

Su Qing wasn't and by their reaction it was obvious there was much Lei Xinyi realized she will have to a lot to bang her head against. She irritably sighed and had an urge to run again. Alas! This time she was bummed for real…

Su Qing gave her a hesitant smile sealing her dripping, bleeding heart. Her friend had suffered enough. Her life wasn't her weight to carry; she didn't need her burden right now when she had hardly returned from captivity.

"Where have you been? W…we thought you were…" 

Lei Xinyi shook her head and rubbed her temples, "I was locked in Yi Yang's Mistress Apartment after the accident they orchestrated, recovering." A look passed between the siblings in silence and they pursed their lips.

"That piece of shit! How could he do this?!" Su Qing seethed forgetting all about her own ache.

It was the nasty tricks of the patriarch that surfaced once in a while when he felt like b*tching around and apparently Lei Xinyi trying to escape the country gave him a reason to fend off her Master too.

Now a plan was formulating in her head. 'The patriarch sure did overstep his limits and he will be put in his place! The old geezer sure knew how to land his butts in tight spots where it didn't belong!' Lei Xinyi fumed inside and she contemplating her situation.

She needed to get rid of about five, six influential men on her tail, He Zheng and Su Qing needed to be put in line, she had to deal with her 'father' and of course the patriarch! 

Now that she was back in the game she really had too many people to set straight and Li Yuan was such a golden ally... Lei Xinyi smirked at the thought.

It was obvious there was something he was after, something he wanted from her otherwise he wouldn't be doing all these graces on her but whatever it was, in exchange she could get revenge on all those bloody relatives of her who had turned her to rags!

A man as influential as him was dangerous yet a trump card so till his dice rolled in her favor everything will be alright.

Lei Xinyi's eyes landed on He Zheng and a question flashed in her eyes, "How did you know where to look?"
