224 The Man of Her Dreams and Nightmares

Li Yuan stood up despite the sharp pain in his head, "Prepare the troops, we will retrieve her now." 

Ji Zhou and Fan Bingbing resembled the shocked expression but none the less nodded and left the room. 

In was the time of the dawn, an odd time to go to someone door's but what their Boss's says goes.

In about thirty minutes his men had surrounded the area of the building where the secretary lived and Li Yaun got out of the car, Ji Zhou at once ran to catch up to him.

Reportedly no one was home as the secretary was out with her Boss so there was no better time to unravel the mystery behind the phantom of the house.

Li Yuan was heading to the building complex when Ji Zhou came forward, he was armed, like everyone, on his toes.

"Sir, are you sure, you want to do this yourself? Sir, we can rather wait for Team X to vacate the place for a trap first." Ji Zhou voice reverted his anxiousness.

Li Yuan shook his head, "No. If Lei Xinyi is there she will be scared. She had been suffering already, I can't see her dominated yet again."

Ji Zhou winced looking at his Boss walking away. He wanted to tear his hairs out. 'She was the f*cking intimidation and the scariest thing here!'

He motioned his Team X and Z to cover their Boss and make sure no mischap took place while 'retrieving' the witch!

The building was worn down and in a need of renovation or better yet reconstructions, it was a little earthquake away from being a pile of debris. It was six-storey high and the apartment of the secretary was on the fourth floor.

There was no elevator, Li Yuan climbed the stairs, with every step weighing heavier than the other. It was like he was walking every step closer to the apartment and away from her.

His breath was ragged and his heart was beating irregularly. There was a chance Lei Xinyi was confiding in these rocks or it could be another dead-end.

He climbed to the said floor and rung the bell, there wasn't a single sound that left the apartment. He knocked again and then again.

Every ring that wasn't reciprocated with an answer sunk his heart deeper. He raised his hand to to ring once again when everything crumbled around him with what he saw ahead of him.

Half an hour earlier, in the living room, Lei Xinyi was watching yet another romantic movie and making comical faces. 

Lei Xinyi snorted at the mushy scene of the lover's reunion and threw popcorn at the screen, "What a doofus b*tch! The man was a jerk to you! Shame on the female population, a scrub!"

She had her feet resting on the table while wrappers were spread around the room, though she was mobile now but she refused to even lift a finger except for her cardio. It was fair to say without even weighing that she had gained enormous weight.

It wasn't her fault they had decided to kidnap her and for assisting a kidnapping the woman should have been afflicted with strict punishment. The law wasn't doing so Lei Xinyi was.

Her feet were now only wrapped in a bandage. The fracture was gone and now she had to be careful of her left foot for a week or two then she will be good to escape. 

But this time she will have to tread harder, for now, she had more influential man than before on her back! Yu Youhan, Yu Wang, Old Master Li, Master Lu and then the oh-so-hot Li Yuan. 

Lei Xinyi sighed and stuffed her mouth with some more; He was such an eye-candy, it was mournful that he wasn't an escort! He was the most dangerous and volatile of them all yet as alluring and enticing as an opium!

She looked for another movie worth seeing but this time in romantic genera. She often saw movies from different genera but horror movies were one that she steered away from.

She was alone at home and there was no saying if a demon or two decided to pay her a visit because they took it as an invitation?! So she never took such risks.

She stuffed her mouth with popcorns, depression was making her a starved b*tch. She was literally eating like she was feeding an army in her stomach, since the day she had been kidnapped. Others would assume a sick person had eating issues...

When she was halfway through the movie the apartment bell rung. Lei Xinyi ignored it. 

It must be Yi Yang's b*tch who remembered there was a place called home. It was about the fourth time the b*tch had forgotten her keys. Eventually, she would open the door but she preferred to teach her a lesson.

If she always let it pass the girl was going to make a habit out of it!

On the third ring, Lei Xinyi decided that the girl was disturbing her movie and she could simply punish her by making her clean all the house right now! She smirked evilly.

Lei Xinyi stood and got hold of her supporting stick. She didn't need it anymore, her broken bones were healed but she was being precautioned with it. She was trying to put as less weight on it as possible to not cause another kind of ache to rise.

Her assumption had it that the feet were good to go but there was no X-ray facility so she wanted to get out of here confirm her leg was good and then use it to kick asses!

Lei Xinyi unlocked the door without looking at the peephole, "You wretched woman, is it a time to come..."

What Lei Xinyi saw in front of her made her realize her suspicion was right that a Demon or better said the Demon King himself had decided to pay her a visit.

There stood the man of her dreams and nightmares in flesh looking at her like she was a ghost.
