Arbor took out two black bracelets no wider than half a thumb. Both bracelets with a white line in the middle that was filled with different runes and symbols. Arbor slipped the two bracelets over his hands onto his wrists. When the bracelets got over his wrists, they contracted and fit snug over his skin and moved with the joint as if they were simple tattoos.
From the information he obtained about the two bracelets, as long as he willed the certain types of weapons to appear, they would be summoned into his hands. He did as instructed and one shuriken appeared in each of his palms, then two throwing stars, and then two daggers.
While the rest of the group is preparing themselves for the upcoming battle Arbor is sitting in the back playing with his bracelets. Either side was hesitant to make the first move. Well, the monster army seemed to be under some type of control and waited for the order.
"What are you doing back there? This isn't the time to be playing with yourself." Arbor heard an unfamiliar voice enter his ears. As he raised his head, he noticed the entire group glaring at him.
"Oh sorry. I'm ready now." First he was embarrassed enough that he had to get rescued, now Arbor got caught playing with his jewelry like little girl on her birthday.
Arbor walked towards the front as four kunai appeared between each of his fingers. When everyone else was behind him he released the kunai and directly pierced the skulls of eight monsters. As if it was predetermined, as soon as the first eight monsters were killed the cannon fodder in the front made their move in addition to the rest of Arbors group.
Leo let a deafening roar, Ithaa launched the largest fireball she has yet, Sald equipped her fan, the triplets and Dax prepared their weapons, and Eos went full speed at the adversaries.
After he threw the first batch of kunai, Arbor equipped a dagger in each hand as he waited for the first of the hundreds of monsters to reach him. A simple slash with his right hand cut halfway into a monsters head. Cutting upwards at the next enemy caused all of the guts and organs to spill out.
Arbor continued to maneuver between the monsters with the help of his Floating Leaf battle skill. He was easily able to change the directions that his body was moving in, similar to that of a leaf getting blown by the wind. His comprehension of the skill was in the beginning stages, but that was more than enough to get not get touched by the surrounding opponents. From the perspective of an observer, every time an attack would make its way towards Arbor that body part would move out of the way. This would cause Arbors body to be contorted in unnatural ways. Due to his low comprehensions and familiarity of using the skill, Arbor had a lot of close encounters. The faster opponents who had physical attachments of those beast who had a natural affinity for speed pushed Arbors reaction time to the limit.
Arbor continued cutting and slashing his way through the monsters. He eventually cleared a small group of around thirty monsters and is now in a small clearing as if the enemies noticed that they were not a match for him. After taking note of this, Arbor reacted and quickly threw the two daggers killing two more.
"There's ten experience points. Why couldn't I have transmigrated with a system? Oh well, have to make this interesting somehow." Arbor spoke as he pulled out his next weapon of choice. Invisible to the naked eye, a string made up of ten smaller intertwined strings. The main metal that it is made of, Spider Rock, is known for its lightweight, flexibility, and extreme durability. The only reason that Arbor can tell that the string is in his hand is because of the of the blood connection he established with the bracelets the day after he acquired them.
A simple whip of Arbors right hand sent the string arching around and decapitated ten of the monsters. He motioned again with his hand and the whip flew back around in the other direction claiming eight lives this time. This time Arbor did a complete spin and killed those on the inside of the circle. Arbor started to flail the whip in a berserk manor. No monster was able to anywhere within ten feet of Arbor. If a single monster made an attack he would whip that single one and then spin halfway to protect his back. If it was a group of monsters Arbor would twirl the whip around a couple of times to finish off all attackers.
Eventually the monsters in the area started to rush at Arbor all at once. At his breaking point, Arbor recalled the whip back into the bracelet and called out daggers for each hand again. Arbor used the daggers for both cutting and throwing. A simple cut and then throw would kill two monsters per second. Other times he would let go of the dagger after slicing up into the air and then kick the butt of the dagger and sent it threw the heads of a few enemies.
During this time, Arbor had noticed that he was extremely adept at using these hidden weapons. When he had bought them back at the school, he had hoped to train them to use when he needs to keep his identity hidden or for special occasions. Between the time that he purchased them and the day he had been transported to the current dimension, he put all of his focus on opening his meridians, nurturing his staff, and training his battle skills. He originally planned to test out the weapons in the Ashliel Tower. Unfortunately, he did not get that chance.
The unseen benefit is that the pressure forced on him in the current situation is that he has no other choice but to use them to the best of his abilities. In the beginning he had thought that if he was not efficient enough with them, he could simply use his fists. As soon as he equipped those first four kunai, a familiar feeling swept through his body. He realized that he can fight and slaughter with these weapons, as if it is second nature. Arbors thoughts drifted as his body seemed to be functioning on its own. "Just who the hell taught me all of these skills and knowledge that I know? I wonder what other information of abilities I can use, is there a limit? There must be a good reason that I they blocked my memory. I need to thank them dearly if I ever get the chance to."
Eos is utilizing his large speed advantage over his opponents to slash them with his claws before they had a time to react. He was towards the back half of the group of monsters along with Sald. They were trying to lessen the amount of oncoming pressure of their friends. Due to the speed of the two there was no danger for them when fighting this multitude of opponents.
