24 Cant think of a title
Early in morning before the sun had even fully risen, Arbor and Eos made their way to the blacksmith guild for a quick pit stop. He let Floyd and Gorge know that he will be stopping by to pick up his identification badge.
Floyd noticed the two walking towards his direction through the window that he had just opened. He wiped the dust off his hands and went the front door to welcome the two with a charismatic smile. He noticed Eos with Arbor and came to the realization that, Tagas and the unknown assailant that pummeled Ti Yuffeo are the same person. He was startled for a second at the talent that Tagas has portrayed. Already a third-tier blacksmith and able to dominate such a large amount of people in a fight at the same time while at such an early age? Just what exactly is his background?
Arbor told Floyd that he will be gone for a few days as he plans to go hunting in the wilderness. He promised to help around the shop when he returns. Floyd gave him a quick rundown of the benefits that he has gained by joining the guild. He let Tagas know that he will give him the complete rundown when he returns.
During Arbors and Floyd's conversation, Eos wandered curiously around the lobby of the shop. He knocked over a weapon rack on accident and created a domino affect that knocked over a few more racks. Eos look at Abor innocently as if he did not do it. The guilt and apologetic look in Eos eyes caused Floyd to feel bad for him. Arbor took a mental note that he will have to discipline this varlet during their training. Eos only gets him in trouble repeatedly.
Arbor tried to pick up the mess that Eos made, but Floyd insisted that Tagas take his leave and go improve is strength. After couple, more attempts at cleaning up, Arbor was finally kicked out of the lobby and sent on his way.
Floyd watched the duo make their way down the street. He could not help but think about how a man that protrudes such an innocent and peaceful demeanor be so powerful? Furthermore, his talent in forging would be astounding even in the capital. His curiosity is telling him to find out more about Tagas and what his background is, while his kind-hearted nature is telling him that its not his business and that he should let destiny decide their fates.
Floyd's got brought back into reality from Gorge who barked at him to finish opening the shop for the day.
Standing in the middle of the road is a teenage female dressed in blue and white fitted battle clothing. Light brown hair with blonde highlights reached halfway down her back. A baby blue hair pin in the shape of a falcon sat on the right side of her head. Her arms crossed underneath her under developed breasts. The small amount of remaining baby fat on her face causes others to think that she is a couple of years younger than what she is.
She stared at Arbor and Eos as they walked her way. A familiar voice drifted into Arbors ears, "Did you plan on training without me?"
"I didn't know that you finally reached the bottle neck. Congratulations! How did you find me?" Arbor said when he noticed Sald standing off to the side of the road.
"I talked to Leo before he made his way to the mercenary guild. He told me that you were heading down this street. I decided to wait here when I saw you making your way in this direction." Sald spoke nonchalantly.
"I planned on taking Eos to the wilderness, you can tag along. Strength doesn't find anyone, you have to find it. Lets go" Arbor pulled Sald along as they started to make their way towards the city gate.
Along the way Sald asked Arbor what trouble he has been up to recently and what plans he has for the future. She learned of the actions of Eos and the repercussions that Arbor has had to deal with because of it.
The two eventually got to the gate and noticed the forest off in the distance and the mountain standing over it even farther away. The lackadaisical guards at the gates paid no head to the trio as they walked through the gate. Arbor and Sald were both slightly disgusted at the effort of the guards. Sald noticed that one of the guards might have been asleep.
"Last one to the forest line has to cook diner every night. Eos, you have to catch any extra animals if you lose. Well start when the rock hits the ground." Sald instructed as she tossed a rock into the air that she picked up off the ground.
Eos cawed excitedly in response. "Loser," he spoke mentally through his connection with Arbor.
"This is not…" Arbor started to complain when the rock landed on the ground.
Sald and Eos left a small cloud of dust and Arbor in their wake. Arbor tried to tangle the two up with his vines but soon realized that the two escaped his range before he could reach them.
Arbor knew that there is not a chance of catching up to them in a pure speed race, but he still decided to push his speed to the limit. He wants to compare his top speed to theirs. Since they both have an affinity for wind, they both have a clear advantage in speed over an extremely large majority of other cultivators and beasts.
Arbor noticed that his speed is seventy to seventy-five percent of the two. He decided that he will have to find a way to close that distance by ten percent.
Fifteen miles later Arbor had finally reached the tree line where Sald and Eos are both leisurely waiting for him. Sald is sitting up against a tree with Eos curled up in her lap enjoying the constant brushing of his fur.
"Nice of you to finally join us," Sald teased when Arbor had finally arrived.
"Let's go you to love birds, its time to go cultivate." Arbor sassed.
…
"You want to be the leader of a squad? You are only at the peak of the kuwa realm and have yet to prove yourself or went on any missions. I will tell you what, if you can defeat one of the current squads, I will let you be one. Due note, that they are all in the kaholo realm. Their levels are at the first, third, fourth, and two at the sixth. Choose wisely." A bulky burley man wearing a fur coat suggested. This man is called The Mammoth, the division leader of the mercenary guild.
When Leo arrived at the guild, he pushed hard that he be directly promoted to a team leader given his strength. This had caused a scene within the guild. Everyone sneered at him and told him that he is not strong enough. After easily wiping the floor with small fries, he got the attention of The Mammoth.
Being hard headed has always been one of Leo's specialties. He never thought of going about obtaining the squad leader position a different way.
"Set up a match with the leader at the third level. As soon as possible." Leo insisted.
After learning that the squad leaders make ten percent more than the simple guild members. In addition, he will be able to have more members for any plans that he has personally or any that Arbor has for him. Another aspect is that Leo will have his take on what missions he gets to take his team on. Of course, this all depends on him winning the arranged fight.
