22 Finding Trouble
The streets in the market district in Eksu City are as bustling as they always have been. Thousands of people are moving in and out of shops, venders are shouting their prices and items to passerby's, arguments over items, daylight robbery, and small skirmishes were happening up and down the streets and alleyways.
Certain individuals seemed to be communicating a message back and forth through mediators. A few select individuals are shifting back and forth between distinct groups of people that are spread out up and down the streets of the market district. Along the way the people started to group up together. By now, there is some twenty early teens spread out across the street.
"Where do you think you are going?!" A command sounded in the crowed. Multiple squeaks caused those in the vicinity to laugh.
"Who dares to laugh at Young Master Yuffeo?!" A short and fat, poorly dressed servant next to Ti Yuffeo commanded with gusto.
The crowed continued to laugh as they cleared out the streets. This isn't the first time that Ti Yuffeo has caused a scene. The citizens in the city do not dare to offend him as he is the son of the patriarch of the largest clan in the city.
Fifteen seconds later, only the large group blocking off the road and a single man stood on opposing sides.
"I AM TALKING TO YOU!" Ti Yuffeo roared.
"Who me? I am just casually strolling. Why do my actions concern you?" The young man who stands alone asked.
"Where is that whore of a pet you own?" Yuffeo asked with a hint of eagerness and anger in his voice.
"I am terribly sorry. You must have me confused with someone else. If you do not mind, I will be on my way." The single man started to walk towards the line of young men. Hoping that he would be able to walk straight through the line of degenerates without any trouble.
The man in charge, Ti Yuffeo, drew the sword that hung at his side, "Do you think that we wouldn't notice that there is only one person in the city that keeps a staff on his back? Just because you can slightly alter your appearance and change the clothes that you wear, we wouldn't be able to recognize you are? You cannot change your height, so that rules out a good lot of people. Also, you continuously come from the same direction everyday that you left in a month ago. Now you tell me, are you, or are you not that same person?"
Of course, it the man standing all by himself is Arbor.
Arbor sighed deeply, "I guess I have to be more careful in the future," he mumbled to himself.
"Congratulations, you caught figured it out detective. What would you like as a reward? I have many things on me that will be of help for you. How about this dirt here?" Arbor teased as he scanned the men across from him.
"Fuck off, you will be eating dirt while we drag you back to the sect. First, for your pet making me look like a fool in public, I want that things head. Second, for you not apologizing to me, I want you receive a thousand slashes from my sword. And third, for you being disrespectful with that mouth of yours, I want your tongue." Yuffeo sneered.
Arbor covered his mouth with his hand to help himself from laughing aloud. He could not hold in his laugh any longer when Yuffeo finished listing his demands. A laugh bellowed out a laugh from the bottom of his stomach.
"Half of you are at the fifth level of the kuwa realm, eight of you are at the eighth, and five at the ninth. I am guessing you are the boss since you at the peak of the kuwa realm? If you lot think you are enough to handle me then come. I have been needing a good fight," Arbor pleaded as he equipped his staff in his right hand, "Come, ill play with you fools."
The twenty some odd men all drew their swords and rushed at Arbor, and he did the same in return. The distance between the two was closed in less than a second. A scene of one man and a staff against a large group of people played out on the streets of Eksu City.
Five minutes later Arbor was standing in the middle of the street encompassed by the aching and moaning of his opponents who were lying on the ground.
"What a terrific way to start the morning. I appreciate you all for the miniscule workout, I hope that you do not take offence to this. Ill will be on my way now." Arbor said as he stretched his back a little bit while walking over to where Ti Yuffeo is sprawled out at. He crouched down and placed his staff parallel on Yuffeo's chest who coughed up blood do to the sheer weight bearing down on him. Arbor then went ahead to tie up Yuffeo's hands and feet with his vines. The last action he did is gather a first sized pile of dirt from the ground and put it on his chest. "Here is a meal for you when you are able to move. I hope I did not use too much strength. Next time do not go looking for a fight you cannot win. You better be more respectful from now on."
How could one person take on that many people in the same cultivation realm by himself? Is he the God of War? That cannot be possible, because his movements and attacks did not have an overbearing presence to them at all. Every movement that he made, either it be an attack, evasion, block, or counter owned a natural feel to them. He seemed to move with the earth and nature itself, swift and lofty. The only dominating factor that projected him to win is was the stamina that he showed during the battle. He went full speed the entire battle and did not break a sweat for five minutes. Another factor that caught the spectator's eyes is that he did not use anything besides his physical body. Was he looking down on his opponents? How could someone who looked fifteen years old dominate against a gang of people who are at least five years older than him?
The jaws of every spectator dropped to the floor besides one person. Grandpa Patches. Since he had dropped them off at his sister's inn, he has kept an eye on them, well only Arbor since the others have not been seen since that day.
"This kid has far surpassed my expectations and his friends can't be that far behind his power either. I wonder if I can get them to help me out." Patches said as he turned to escape into an alleyway.
After leaving the scene of the fight, he leisurely made his way to the blacksmith shop again hoping that this would be the day that the district head is in. He hopes that he will get lucky twice in one day.
"Great news Tagas! He is here today! I will go get him. I will be right back." Floyd said quickly when he noticed Arbor walking into the shop.
A few minutes later the largest man that Arbor has ever seen walked into the lobby from the back of the shop. His long ebon hair fell down the back of his eight-foot tall frame. He is built somewhere in between muscular and fat. His legs and arms are as thick as tree trunks. His torso is three feet deep. Arbor guessed that he weighs at least seven hundred pounds.
"Are you Tagas?" The behemoth asked.
"Tagas greets senior."
"Follow me. I don't have time to waste." The senior instructed as he waved arbor to the back.
Floyd walked out from behind the giant man and whispered to Arbor, "I am so sorry, I forgot to tell you that he goes by Gorge. If you have not been able to tell already, he is pretty straight forward."
Arbor nodded in acknowledgement and followed Gorge to a room in the back of the blacksmith shop. Along the way he noticed a couple of forges that are being used by apprentices, mounds of metals, failed weapons, and tools for forging.
"Here is the test, you have half an hour to identify all of the metals here. I will proctor the exam to make sure there is no cheating. All you have to do for the first part is pick up the metal and tell me the details about it I hope that Floyd has explained the minor details to you." George explained as he brought out one hundred different metals from his space ring.
Two minutes later Arbor had identified the properties of the first eighty-five that he picked up correctly.
Gorge was flabbergasted at how fast and accurately he got through the first test. "Being smart is one thing but being able to forge is something entirely different. Let us continue to the second part. Forge me a mortal grade weapon or better if you have the ability."
Arbor was given a couple of different metals by Gorge and directed to one of the forges to use. When he started to melt the metal, a comfortable feeling filled Arbors body. He did not know where he learned how to control the fire and get the impurities out of the metal, but he knows what the reason for it is.
He decided that he needs to make a transcendent level weapon to make himself noticed. He plans to use the organization to help bring them to a more prominent city.
With each swing of the hammer, Gorge noticed that Arbor is not using a technique that he has seen or heard of. Being a fifth-tier blacksmith that has traveled most of the world, this is unlikely. The only thing on Gorge's mind is that he cannot wait to figure out the weapon grade that he forges.
Half an hour passed by before Arbor has finally finished forging his weapon. He inspected the newly forged hammer in his hand.
"As expected, you passed both the mortal and sky level weapon grades and went straight to the transcendent level weapon grade. Where exactly did you learn that forging technique?"
"Would you believe me if I said that I don't know?" Arbor sincerely replied.
