10 Enrollment 3
Arbors eyes scanned the flabbergasted crowd in from of him unsure of what to do next. He noticed stares of admirations, envy, jealousy, and sadness. Arbor tried his best to take notice of who was giving him what look. Due to his low cultivation, he does not have an eidetic memory. Therefore, he only tried to remember those who gave him looks that were void of any hostility.
Arbor had finally come to his senses, "Wait, what the hell, did they just say a level ten?" Due to the shock of his potential it took him a bit to process what is happening.
"Eos keep your guard up against those who give you a bad feeling. We need to look out for those." Arbor communicated to Eos through their mental connection. Eos is standing at his side scanning the crowd with his eyes. As a griffin, Eos has inherited certain feline characteristics from his lion half. On top of having his natural animal instincts, he has enhanced sense and instincts. Therefore, someone of the same realm as Eos will not be able to display an emotion and have it not be noticed by Eos.
"Who is this guy? Does anyone recognize him? Or that tree on his robe?"
"I wonder if there is a way to steal his soul spirit. If only I had a way to get his. I would be able to stand on top of the universe."
"He must have a dual soul spirit. That baby griffin must be one. I wonder what his other one is."
Various kinds of comments sounded from the crowed as Arbor stood there watching the spectator's reactions. Arbor looked back to find the elder, but he was still nowhere to be found. Without knowing how to proceed, Arbor put down the two crystal orbs and went to stand off to the side.
A minute passed by before a middle aged woman flew over to area three dressed in all white with black hair that fell down her back until stopping at her waist. There was not a single strand of hair out of place. Her yellow eyes outshone the sun fit perfectly with her flawless face and hourglass body. Everything is perfect about this woman besides her missing left forearm.
Upon her arrival all the young boy's wildest fantasies flashed through their minds. The elders in the other four areas all turned their attention towards the third area after noticing the strong presence. A common thought came up in all of their minds, "What has caused Madam Founder to make an appearance?"
"Where is he at?" A soft elegant voice projected in the area causing the ruckus in the third area to stop at once. She gazed over the area searching for Arbor.
"Madam Founder that is him." The elder pointed at Arbor.
The beautiful woman looked at Arbor with a curious look in her eyes. After sizing him up she told Arbor to perform both tests again to confirm what the elder had said. First a silver light and a then a golden light protruded from the orbs. The elders from the side noticed what was happening in the third area. All of them took notice of Arbors appearance and continued testing those in their respective areas.
After taking the test Arbor and Eos were bothf directly taken away without any say by the graceful woman. Before Arbor noticed where he was taken, he was standing outside in a courtyard. The first thing Arbor noticed is the number of servants walking back and forth in the area.
"For a small plot of land and only a handful of buildings there is an excessive amount of maids here. All of them are pleasing to the eye too" Arbor thought.
"If you are done taking in the view, I would like to introduce myself." The same elegant voice spoke from behind Arbor. Arbor turned around and noticed that same woman sitting down at a table with her legs crossed.
"I am this schools founder, I am sure you have heard the stories of what happened and how this school came to be. Most of the people here call me Madame Founder, but you can call me Ashliel. My full name is Ga Ashliel. I've been told your name is Arbor Nope?"
"Greetings Madame, it is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Arbor. Just Arbor. Not Arbor Nope." He responded in embarrassment while trying to hold back his anger.
"Alright Arbor, where are you from? I have never seen that tree before. A clan? Small town?" Ashliel mused.
"Well you see I am from." Arbor started before he realized that he is not able to recall the specific details of the past fourteen years. Everything related to his masters he tried to recall is fuzzy. "I am from the forest. I do not remember my parents. I am an orphan. Other than that, I do not remember much of my origins."
"Very interesting. Regardless you are now my first disciple. From now on you will be cultivating here in this courtyard. All these house cleaners are at your disposal. You will have access to all the resources and battle skills that you need. I will help you answer any questions you may have. If you want something, ask for it. Do not be shy."
"Am I not allowed to have a say in this? Although it sounds enticing, I think this will draw more attention to myself than I would care to have. Can we meet somewhere in the middle? I think that being able to interact with other students will be beneficial to my growth. I would be able to learn how to improve my own techniques or tweak some by seeing others, I can gain inspiration, or just simply make friends." Arbor argued.
Ashliel closed her eyes and tilted her head back in thought for a short minute before answering, "Ok fair enough. But if you are going to be this argumentative over everything, I will make sure you wish you had never entered my school. What proposal do you have to meet in the middle?"
"How is the school run and operated? What is the structure for new disciples? How easily would it be for me to enter will everyone who got accepted this year under a disguise?"
"Its fairly simple. Those admitted this year will be directly put into the first level area that is strictly designed for those whom are still in the kuwa realm. The sole purpose is to open all the meridians. Three times a week non-mandatory classes will be held. After breaking through the kuwa realm into the kaholo realm you will be placed with the second level outer disciples. If you are able to make it into the top fifty ranks you become considered an inner disciple of the second level. This continues until the fifth level. There is no overlap in the levels as they are all separated. This is just the surface information. There are small factions and groups that each level has, but you will find out more if you enter there.
As for the disguise that is not a problem at all. I can easily get you something to help change your face a little bit." Ashliel explained to Arbor.
Arbor sat down across from Ashliel and started to think. After a minute Arbor spoke up, "Alright how about this, you get me placed in the first level. You become a teacher there and I will attend all of the classes. After class we will meet to discuss the class topics in more detail. I stay in the first level and you have everything sent over to me upon request."
"Just who the hell do you think you are?" Ashliel retorted. "You think you can boss your master around like that? How about you live here with me here and travel back and forth every day to the grounds. Its not that far and it's a fairly easy walk to and from there considering we are in the center of the school grounds. Take it or I will put you with the rest of newly accepted students and you can forget about me."
Arbor gave this proposal a quick thought before answering with a respectful bow. "This humble disciple greets his master."
Arbor had finally come to his senses, "Wait, what the hell, did they just say a level ten?" Due to the shock of his potential it took him a bit to process what is happening.
