Deity Realm.
Two parties are fighting each other due to a difference in beliefs, paths, and desires, but it's yet to be determined which sides holding the upper hand. The wounded of both sides lay in heaps across the battle riddled land and the faces of the fighters are hopeful with nervous, yet steady breathing and tense muscles and anxious faces. All though both gangs added together consisted of a handful of people, the power of either armada could only be rivaled by a handful of clans or families people in the thousands of realms.
The structure of these realms are identical to a chandelier. The top realm is most commonly referred to as the Deity Plane. There is little information known about this realm, because those who venture there never return. Underneath the Deity Plane there are the five Sovereign Realms. Currently known as Divine, Astral, Cruel, Free, and the Northern. Underneath each of the divine realms are the 25 Middle Realms. Beneath those are the 125 Lower Realms and then the 650 Barren Realms. If the Deity Plane is not counted, there are 3,125 planes. Each consisting of its own unique structure and characteristics.
The Deity Realm carries one hundred percent pure essence. All the residual essence waterfalls down into the planes below it. Leaving 90%, 70%, 40%, and 1% for each descending step on the chandelier. The lowest level, the 2500 Forgotten realms carry no essence. Thus, the name given to them. Rarely a treasure will fall and give someone a chance to ascend to one of the barren planes. But this has happened a handful of times.
On the battle black and purple mist is radiating off the bodies of the dead cultivators and mythical beasts' dead bodies that are sprawled out on the deserted land. Any average cultivator would be able to tell that a lethal poison is decomposing the bodies of the dead cultivators. The lands were in no better shape. The poison spread for millions of miles, leaving only desolate lands in its wake. No living creature or plant, besides those still alive, could be seen with the naked eye.
"Are you prepared Pona?" Thalli asked through mental transmission.
"Servants of the despicable Veon, we thank you for playing with us today. Unfortunately our time here is up and have a less important matter to deal with. Until next time," Pona said with a playful tone. While she was saying this, thousands of rune markings started to appear beneath the feet of all her allies. After speaking, Pona gave a bow and disappeared in a flash of white light with her comrades.
"FUCK….We almost had those bastards this time." Sul said after his final attack missed Thalli by mere seconds.
"We need to report back to Lord Veon. Both sides had heavy losses. We only need to worry about recovering right now." A raspy voice from the said added.
"You're right Krewiu. Collect the fallen and move out." Ordered Sul before turning around and heading south.
…
Just a couple million miles away from the now uninhabited battle field, an endless forest brimming with life was extremely active. Humans and beasts were bustling to and from different areas. Within this forest, hundreds of rare species of plants, trees, animals, beasts, and mythical creatures that are only heard of in legend could be found here. The forest was colossal and blooming. Its multi colored canopy was competed for by ancient trees who allowed adequate light to pass down for an overabundance of ferns to dominate the soft, rich soils below. Swooping tree limbs drooped from every tree, and a hodgepodge of flowers, which grew in abundance, added playful elements to the otherwise unchanging terrain. Everything within the forest gave off an aura of immortality. It was as if every living soul in the forest had been living for millions of years and was still thriving. There was one area of this forest that became a forbidden zone to the life forms in the forest.
In the middle of the forest was a tree coating gold bark and emerald leaves. Glimmers of light would give of a dull sparkle. This tree seemed to date the creation of the universe itself. Standing at exactly five thousand feet, this gargantuan tree towered over the rest of the forest. If one was to look closely there was a man standing on top of the tree.
This man has inch long golden hair and emerald eyes that complimented his chiseled face. He is sporting a white robe with golden stitching and an emerald emblem that is identical to the tree. The hansom man was staring to the south with a worrisome look on his face. Noticing the white flash at the base of the tree, his face slowly began to relax. He then appeared to melt into the tree become one with it.
After the white light disappeared, five disheveled people appeared alongside ten corpses. Two people were standing on their own while, another was holding up one, and another was sitting up on the ground. Immediately the five figures noticed a figure start to form start to morph off the base of the tree trunk. His appearance was the same as the man who was on top of the tree.
"Sol, quickly start to concoct pills to stop the spreading of the poison. Pona see if you can do anything to stop that poison from spreading this way" Said the man who walked out of the tree at once. Pona took no time and hurriedly made her way to the south.
"Yes, Master Haoma," replied Sol. She immediately went into action. She pointed her finger and fire shot directly underneath the cauldron that she was walking towards.
"Thalli take these pills, then help Sol." Command Haoma as he tossed a bag towards Thalli.
"Telum, what's Volcan's status?" Asked Haoma and he took Volcan from Telum's embrace.
"He was poisoned badly, and he also burned some of his vitality during the fight. He isn't doing too good."
"I can heal his injuries, but you know I can't touch the poison," said Haoma as a golden light illuminated from his hand that surrounded Volcan's body. Volcan's injuries healed at once and his lost arm even grew back!
Pona came back a couple hours later and reported that she had stopped the poison from spreading but was not able to neutralize it. Thalli gave her a vile and instructions on how to eliminate it.
…
One day later at the base of the enormous tree, Haoma, Sol, Telum, Pona and Thalli were sitting at a table conversing.
"Master Haoma we need more people. We lost 10 yesterday if we keep losing this many we wont be able to keep defending. I'm afraid that…" Said Thalli with a tear rolling down her cheek.
"With that attitude that might happen. Toughen up coward, we aren't dead yet." Volcan interrupted Thalli as he was walking up to the table.
"We need to go to the lower realms and start to eliminate the enemy from there. It will decrease their followers in the long run and also weaken Veon." Telum suggested.
"Well would you look at that, the dumb ass has a clever idea. He isn't all just brawn and no brain. BUT how do you expect us to go to the lower realms? We can barely last 10 minutes in the Sovereign realms before we have to come back here." Volcan responded to Telum.
"Stop." Haoma spoke. "I've been searching the Forgotten realms recently for an answer. I might have found one. Although it will come at a risk, but if I succeed, this will help us enormously. The downside is that its not an immediate solution. Now, Instead of bickering with eachother, why don't you all do somethinng productive instead? Go find a disciple or increase your strength." With that Haoma vanished into the ground.
Inside a cozy room in the tree, Haoma was in the middle of the room sitting crossed legged. Currently he was connect to every tree and plant of all of the realms, thanks to his divine ability. He was searching for a special person that gave off a spcific aura. Haoma was only able to hold this search for 1 minute a day due to the vast expanse of energy used. This was his seventeeth day in a row. Haoma's relaxed face grew into one with a warm gentle smile.
"I have finally found you my child."
