Matthew spotted a body lying on the floor in front of his bedroom, it was his dorm neighbor and classmate Andrew, that hearing a noise from the front door started to rise from the floor while Matthew saw Andrew getting up he was startled by the ugliness and stink that the corpse was exhaling.

This took a long time to describe, but actually occurred in a very short time, just enough for Andrew to get up and run to attack Matthew, who due to his inexperience in combat was caught off guard.
The zombie ran at relatively slow speed toward Matthew, not that his speed would have made a big difference in a space of 2 meters, and managed to reach Matthew, who thanks to the [Shield of Salvation] absorbed the damage of the zombie using 2 mana from Matthew.
Matthew surprised and frightened kicked Andrew away and then ran down the hall to create a distance between him and Andrew.
After a few seconds of running Matthew managed to open a distance between him and the zombie, he used that time to put himself in a relatively awkward fighting stance.
Andrew who was chasing Matthew caught up with him after a second and with a tremendous ferocity due to his strength twice an ordinary human tried to pluck Matthew's arms.
Matthew fully prepared for the attack this time made a sharp attack with the intention of cutting Andrew's arm, puting all his strength in that cut since he thought it would be very difficult to cut due to the high constitution of the zombie, however, he got off balance when he cut the zombie arm like a piece of tofu, giving Andrew a chance to strike again, hitting his barrier again with his remaining arm, this time with an even greater impact than the first time because of his running speed.
Matthew lost four mana points and began to despair, he was just an ordinary zombie and this fight already cost him six of his ten mana points, what to expect when he encountered more zombies or more evolved monsters?
Due to impact Matthew was sent flying until he hit a wall at the end of the hallway, again spending another four mana points to resist impact damage, reducing his mana to nothing, which still did not stop him from getting half stunned due to collision, although he had not suffered any injuries.
Rising he saw Andrew running with his slow speed toward him and despaired thinking,
"Is this my end? I'm going to die for a zombie? A TUTORIAL MONSTER ????"
But then he soon remembered that his sword came with a skill, more specifically [Light Ki], and used this ability toward Andrew's head, due to his desperate and low skill-fighting experience only shaved his head, but it was the enough to finish Andrew, when a part of the beam of light struck his head and melted his skull along with his brain.
