64 Chapter 64 – Save me

The three of them started moving towards the place where their camp was situated.

They moved fast in a straight-line unlike when they ran in roundabout way when they were chased and reached near the camp region in less than two hours.

When they were close, they heard the sounds of battle. Wu Qing and Wu Yong got tensed because they know the formation has been destroyed and the fight already began and they didn't know the situation.

Zhu Xuan also realized his previous plan might not work since they don't know when the fight began and not sure the situation of Wu Qian Ren and his team's current situation.

He was silent for a while and then asked the other two about the topography near the camp and about the demon bests near their camp. He was sure they would have checked their surroundings before putting up a camp like they did before and his plan was to use that to his advantage.

He was ecstatic to found there was a herd of Earth Demon horses, all at Qi gathering stage, near the camp few kilometers away.

Earth Demon horses are known for their endurance. They absorb the earth elemental Qi from the ground to replenish their stamina and run longer distance and their defense is also high because of it and they are hard to kill.

He decided his plan would have huge success with these Earth Demon horses, not only because they are hard to kill but also because they are very protective. Although their attack strength is not high, they are very united. Once a member of the herd was under attack, they will immediately gather the entire heard and attack all together.

So it will be easier for him to lure them towards the camp.

After asking few more questions, he explained his new plan to them. They were silent after listening to him; he could tell both of them are not confident of his plan. He didn't say anything and waited for their decision.

Wu Qing sighed; she understood there is no other way. They can't go any closer to check the situation or there is higher possibility their movements will be discovered by Meng Haoran. The senses of cultivators at Qi gathering peak stage are very high and that's how Zhu Xuan was discovered by Wu Qian Ren even though he was very careful.

Finally she nodded in agreement with the plan. Zhu Xuan smiled and said "Okay, both of you work faster and when you hear my shout to save me, you need to get ready and when you hear me shout Attack, immediately take action without delay."

After giving few more instructions, he left immediately.

He didn't directly go to where the camp is and took a detour towards the direction of Earth Demon horse herd.

He saw it was a small herd of about twenty and there was a bigger horse which was at Qi gathering peak stage while the rest at middle and initial Qi gathering stage.

He didn't think much and started attacking all the horses near him. The leader saw its herd was being attacked by a single human and neighed in anger. The entire herd moved towards Zhu Xuan and he turned around and ran.

He ran towards the direction of the camp choosing a route, which was exactly opposite to where Wu Wing and Wu Yong is situated, while constantly attacking the chasing herd so that they don't turn around.

At the same time, in the camp of Wu clan, four people were in a circle with their backs to each other was attacked by eight people. There were numerous injuries in their body.

It was Wu Qian Ren and the members of Wu clan who was attacked by eight members of Meng clan. A young man, who was lean with a blue hair, attacked Wu Qian Ren with a sinister. He is Meng Haoran, another one of top ten inner court disciples who is at Qi gathering peak stage.

Meng Haoran laughed loudly with a mocking gaze and said "You never expected such a thing to happen to you right Wu Qian Ren? You dug yourselves deep by saying you are here for training. I can kil you and spread the word you are killed by a powerful demon beast and no one will know that we are the ones who found the ruins. Isn't that right Xin?"

Wu Qian Ren's eyes were bloodshot and he looked at with incomparable anger at the two people in front of him. He was angrier towards Wen Xin fighting next to Meng Haoran and laughing.

He thought back in anger and sadness to what happened since they got ambushed many hours ago.

They checked the surroundings and just made the camp when they were attacked suddenly. One member was killed immediately and his cousin and Wu Yong who went to get water were attacked and they had no other choice to run away. If not for the quick actions of Wu Qian Ren starting the formation on time, they would have lost more people.

He planned to let the enemies use up their energy by attacking the formation and finally using the high grade Qi replenishing pill he got from his family to attack Meng Haoran at a crucial time before they use their own pills.

An hour ago the enemies attack started getting weaker and slower, Wu Qian Ren decided to take his pill and attack at that time. But what he didn't expect was, Wen Xin who was in their team inside the formation suddenly attack and killed their own member.

Wu Qian Ren was shocked by this betrayal and he moved to attack Wen Xin in anger and the formation collapsed. Wen Xin immediately distanced himself and moved towards Meng Haoran.

That's when he understood it was Wen Xin who is the reason behind the ambush of Meng family. He didn't expect Wen Xin who always followed his brother was a man planted by Meng family and felt ashamed of himself for not seeing this earlier.

He immediately calmed down, and formed a circle to defend but one more was killed by then and only four people were left. Since then they were defending and he even used his replenishing pill but couldn't do anything against twice the number of enemies and only injured them lightly. He knows he and the others will run out of his Qi soon if this situation continued. If we put his all into escaping, he has a chance but he knows the rest will die.

He was contemplating on whether to escape or not, when the ground lightly shook and there was galloping sound from one side of the forest towards the camp site clearing.

Everyone involved in the fight slowed down their attacks and looked at the direction of the sound.

Few moments later, a shadow came out of the forest into the clearing. Everyone saw a guy running out of the rest with heavy breathing and sweating all over.

Wu Qian Ren was shocked to see that it was Zhu Xuan who disappeared a week ago and was confused how he got there.

He looked at Zhu Xuan with a complicated gaze. At first, he asked Zhu Xuan to join them because he was suspicious and was also interested in him because of his cultivation level in a low age. But when he disappeared and they got ambushed, he thought it was because of Zhu Xuan they were ambushed until Wen Xin's actions a while ago.

Now looking at Zhu Xuan suddenly appearing out of nowhere in front of them after a week of his disappearance he is not sure what to make of it.

Zhu Xuan suddenly stopped when he spotted people in front of him. Then he looked visibly happy and relieved at the sight of these people. He started running towards them elated, shouting "Save me."
