62 Chapter 62 – One more save

Zhu Xuan cupped his hands and bowed "Thank you Senior Long."

He was truly grateful this time because he was too confused to what to do next and he was simply moving to another city and decide later and pushing himself to move forward without a clear objective. Even when he transmigrated to this world, at least he had an option to go to Zhu clan to learn more about this world, even though it's dangerous. But this time the problem was really nerve wracking for him.

Now that the bloodline is sealed, he already started planning what he can do once he leaves this place.

"You cannot practice those right now; those physical training methods are incomplete and will do more harm than good. He paused and continued "For the spiritual energy, I'm just glad you didn't try to use the soul stone before consulting me. If you had used the soul stone, not only your soul would have strengthened but your emotional state would also have increased and it will be easier for you to get agitated and lose yourself."

Zhu Xuan had cold sweat all over his face because he was planning to use the soul stone; spiritual energy was too enticing for him but he held himself back. He thought he should ask Senior Long first since he is going to talk to him few days anyway which saved from getting his situation worse.

Shen Long continued "Although the practice for spiritual technique is not bad, you cannot use it anyway until you solve the issue with your soul. So I suggest you study those two techniques until you solve the problem or get your hands on full cultivation technique."

Zhu Xuan nodded and said "Thank you Senior Long. I will follow your advice"

Shen Long asked him "Anything else you need to ask me?"

Zhu Xuan immediately replied in haste "Yes Senior Long, I would like to know how to achieve sword Qi."

Shen Long shook his head and said "Sorry I can't teach you that."

Zhu Xuan sighed in disappointment, but Shen Long continued "Because every sword cultivator has their own path, if you depend on someone else you will be following in their path and can't go far in the sword path. But, I can give you some advice though, which will help you."

Shen Long continued "Every cultivation technique, whether sword techniques, movement techniques, fist techniques and so on, has four stages."

Looking at the confused face of Zhu Xuan, he understood what he must be thinking and answered with disdain "I'm not talking about the four steps you have learned from your clan; they are the most backwater methods to practice cultivation techniques."

"The real four steps for practicing cultivation technique are divided into Minor succession, Major succession, Grand succession and Quintessential succession. The technique you considered practiced to perfect is only considered as Minor succession stage. The reason why I'm telling you is because you have already surpassed minor succession and close to major succession stage in your Flowing moon sword technique by using moon essence."

He paused and continued "I can also tell you that Zhu Lang guy know about this classification and achieved Sword Qi because of it, and you can also achieve sword Qi if you can truly understand the technique."

Zhu Xuan nodded and smiled; he understood this is the extent of advice Senior Long will give him advice but this already helped him a lot and now he know he has an idea what he need to do to achieve sword Qi. He needs to study the technique thoroughly and what are the possibilities involved to make it into perfection.

He thanked Senior Long and left though the portal.

Zhu Xuan appeared at the same place he disappeared seven day ago and the place was desolate with only snow around.

He immediately started moving down the mountain. He knew his bloodline aura existed until this place and he didn't want anyone to come and find him in this place. Though he wanted to leave this place, he is not planning to leave Snowcape Demon Mountain.

He decided to stay for a while to practice his techniques in seclusion. Moreover, even if someone comes following his bloodline aura no one will think the person is still living nearby after realizing their bloodline aura disappeared abruptly.

They would think that Zhu Xuan either realized they can track him through bloodline aura so he suppressed and escaped or they will think he was helped by someone, like his father, to take him away to safety. Either way, they would never think Zhu Xuan is still saying in the Snowcape Demon Mountain.

He also figured if he goes out now, everyone will be searching for Zhu Xuan. Even if he changed his body, anyone will be suspicious of a newcomer suddenly appearing at this time and that too with similar cultivation level of Zhu Xuan. It will restrict his actions a lot and he didn't want that.

But if he stayed and practiced for a while, he can also try to breakthrough to the next stage and at the same time he can perfect all his techniques to a higher level which will increase his fighting strength.

He moved for half a day down the mountain, and finally decided to find a cave near this place to start his training. He started searching for an abandoned cave and after fifteen minutes since he started searching, he heard battle sounds in the distance at Qi gathering stage level aura was spreading from the place of the battle.

He sighed to himself saying "Why do they have to fight here where I'm looking for a place to train" and moved towards the direction of the battle to check what is happening.

But as he moved closer, he heard weapons clashing sound and realized it's not a battle between man and beast but cultivators are fighting each other. He moved closer slowly to observe but when he was almost closer, a person flew towards him.

Zhu Xuan side stepped and the person fell few metres away heavily injured. He was shocked to find it was one of the members of Wu clan he travelled with before going for his mission.

Wu Yong recognized who it was and his heart was filled with anger. He coughed out blood and said in anger "It's you, it's all because of you we have been ambushed."

Zhu Xuan frowned hearing Wu Yong's words and thought "What did he mean they were ambushed because of him?"

Even though the team didn't talk to him as equals, he didn't think they were bad people and Wu Qian Ren, his brother and cousin also acted to him normally.

While he was thinking, another person, who is at Qi gathering initial stage, came out from the direction Wu Yong flew from and saw both of them.

Before either Zhu Xuan or Wu Yong spoke, that guy spoke in disdain "Looks like you found a help, but a mere body purification stage ant? Let me kill him first and I will get you."

As he said that, he attacked Zhu Xuan. Wu Yong staying in the ground was also confused.

The attack reached Zhu Xuan in seconds, but in lightning fast speed he formed a fire Qi sword and blocked the attack and he used his sword and pushed it straight thought that guy's heart.

The waves created by the technique ruptured him heart and before he could even let a word out, he coughed blood, fell down and died with his eyes wide open in shock.

Wu Yong was also shocked by what happened and couldn't believe how easily the other guy was killed.

He stuttered and asked "You are not with them?"
