55 Chapter 55 – Defeating Ru Feng

As he said that, Ru Feng unsheathed his blade and slowly closed in on Zhu Xuan.

Zhu Xuan struggled to get back, but both his back and chest is heavily injured. He picked up the sword with his uninjured hand and was about to defend Ru Feng's attack when a stone spear came from the side aiming at Ru Feng's head.

Bai Wuji not only helping him because he saved his life, but also he was able to breakthrough thanks to blood Linghzi Zhu Xuan sold to Bai clan. Moreover, he was not worried about Ru Feng. Bai Wuji was confused and suggested "Why do you have to do that Senior Ru Feng? If someone from the central continent inquired, you can always say some powerful cultivator saved Zhu Xuan and took him away."

Qi element bead is a bead which can store elemental Qi. He heard it was given to youngsters of noble clans and imperial family members as a protective measure. It was stored with Qi of the peak Qi gathering stage or Qi sea level cultivator energy and it can be activated easily to kill your emenies with surprise attack. He is also not sure how Ru Feng got hold of Qi elemental bead in his hand.

He kicked Zhu Xuan out of the way and tried to move but the bead exploded before he gain enough distance; Bai Wuji flew out heavily injured and bleeding all over his body. Zhu Xuan also got caught in the edge of the explosion and got injured again.

He saw Bai Wuji struggling to get up and failed and spew out blood from his mouth. He felt guilty because if not for Bai Wuji trying to get him away from the explosion, he wouldn't have injured heavily.

Ru Feng saw both were injured, he approached and kicked him heavily "This is what you get for going against me."

He put his legs on Bai Wuji's chest and took out his sword. He looked at Zhu Xuan was slowly getting up and sneered "I will kill him first for helping you. You can just watch him die."

Zhu Xuan's emotions fluctuated and his anger reached the peak and his hair and eyes changed like last time and he let out a roar.

Ru Feng who was about to kill Bai Wuji saw it and immediately withdrew in haste and the next moment, Zhu Xuan appeared in the place Ru Feng was standing a moment ago.

Zhu Xuan ducked and followed with an attack immediately and slashed with his claw attack on his leg and broke his leg. He jumped up slashed with his other hand on Ru Feng's chest injured him heavily with a deep gash.

Ru Feng flew out and fell in shock. He saw the one who attacked him from behind was Bai Wuji, but what shocked him even more was Bai Wuji is at Qi gathering middle stage like him. He didn't understand how he was able to breakthrough faster and not without him realizing it.

What he didn't know was Zhu Xuan planned this; he didn't feed Bai Wuji healing pill but Realm breaking pill. He told Bai Wuji to take a healing pill and attack Ru Feng when he was busy fighting himself. This is the way he thought to finish the fight faster.
