52 Chapter 52 – Tiger Roar

Zhu Lang looked at the bleeding Zhu Xuan; he said with an arrogant tone "Now do you understand the difference between our strength?"

Zhu Xuan had a grim face and didn't bother responding to Zhu Lang. He is still thinking of how to win the fight. Zhu Jia Li, Zhu Meiying and Bai Ling also worried and looked at the arena.

Zhu Lang attacked again with another sword Qi. Zhu Xuan used his movement technique with full speed and dodged, and tried to defend with his sword but was still got injured in his shoulder. Sword Qi was too fast and powerful for him to dodge or defend against like any other attacks.

The only good thing is sword Qi is related to a person's cultivation. Since Zhu Lang is still at peak body tempering stage, he could only release a maximum of nine sword Qi. But for Zhu Xuan defending against all the remaining sword Qi attack of Zhu Lang is impossible. He still hasn't found a way and he could only make sure that he didn't get injured heavily by the sword Qi attacks.

He thought of using all his elemental roots, but he is not sure he will be able to defend the sword Qi even with his all out attack.

This time the sword Qi attack wasn't able to make any serious injury and he successfully dodged and it only made a slight injury on his hand. Zhu Lang attacked with two sword Qi this time, surprising Zhu Xuan. He dodged one attack but other attack got his thigh and he got a deep wound and he could even see his bones.

His speed got slower because of his leg injury. On the opposite side, Zhu Lang also looked a little tired with a slightly pale face. Releasing two sword Qi attacks must have tired him faster and also it looks like he only achieved sword Qi recently and not able to release nine sword Qi attacks like other peak body purification stage cultivators. He is already tired by the fifth attack.

Zhu Lang stopped using sword Qi and closed in on Zhu Xuan to attack him with his elemental Qi. Both used their sword movements and Zhu Xuan used his flowing moon sword technique for the first time in front of the people. When the both sword clashed they both fell back from the explosion caused by water and lightning Qi clash, and again they moved in and clashed with each other.

Zhu Xuan tried to attack with his fire Qi using his other sword but he couldn't damage Zhu Lang at all. He thought "Zhu Lang's technique must have been Earth grade techniques and it is hard to injure him heavily with my human tier techniques."

He thought for a second and moved back from Zhu Lang. He formed a fire ball and water ball in each of his hand and threw it at the same place. They clashed and made an explosion and smoke spread surrounding the explosion. He repeated the same surrounding him and Zhu Lang and covered the center of the arena with smoke produced from the explosion.

He didn't move and formed two water spears and waited. He saw blue lights on one side and chi chi sound and he immediately threw the two spears at the place; it hit Zhu Lang since he couldn't see anything around him due to smoke and caused an explosion and injured him.

Zhu Lang used his healing technique and he also stopped moving. He realized how Zhu Xuan is attacking him. So he used his lightning Qi and moved back a bit from his original place, and two spears hit the place where he was. At the same time, he also realized where Zhu Xuan is from the attack. He immediately released a sword Qi on that place and rushed towards the place for a follow up attack.

Zhu Xuan also planned to move from his place after he attacked with his spear, but sword Qi attack came way too fast and hit him in his chest. His chest become bloodied and mangled but thankfully he used his metal element Qi to strengthen his chest area at the last moment which stopped it from becoming a fatal injury.

He steadied himself and moved further but Zhu Lang already closed in on the place and released another sword Qi attack which hit his other uninjured leg. He got another heavy injury and fell down while crying loudly. Zhu Lang saw that Zhu Xuan had both his legs injured and he walked slowly towards him with a sinister look.

Zhu Xuan tried to attack but his attack was deflected easily by Zhu Lang. He made another attack at his chest and Zhu Xuan spew blood and his chest injury got severe. Zhu Lang lifted Zhu Xuan up by his neck and coldly asked "Now what do you think? Do you still think you can defeat me with your puny strength?"

Zhu Xuan struggled and tried to attack but he had too many severe injuries and due to blood loss he felt weak.

He felt unwilling about the fact that he was weaker than Zhu Lang, but you can't blame him. After all unlike Zhu Lang who was provide resources and guided by powerful cultivators in Zhu clan and Lei Shu academy from the moment he activated his elemental roots, Zhu Xuan learned everything by himself and from the books he read in the clan. He also practiced only for three months compared to Zhu Lang who has been practicing for several years.

His aunt also only helped him with alchemy knowledge since she is not proficient in cultivation.

He also once asked Long Shen to guide him with his cultivation but he refused to teach him because it is not under the rules of the Origin system. He could obtain various resources and techniques, and even some training locations in the future from the system, but he clearly said he won't teach Zhu Xuan though he cleared his doubts in cultivation few times.

But suddenly he stopped talking because he saw Zhu Xuan's hair changed to silver and started flowing like it was in water. His eyes became red completely and he started floating few feet above the floor.

Zhu Xuan took hold of Zhu Lang's hand that was holding his neck; Zhu Lang tried to remove himself but the grip was too tight. Zhu Xuan lifted his head and let out a roar.

At that time, outside the arena everyone was anxious. They could only hear the battle sound in the arena. Even though the smoke is slowly clearing; they still couldn't see what is happening inside. Only the clan leaders and elders could barely see the two silhouettes inside the smoke. They heard a loud crying of Zhu Xuan a while back and the place became silent since then.

Suddenly a loud Tiger roar came from the center of the arena and lots of people at low cultivation level felt dizzy, even the people at initial level of Qi gathering stage felt their consciousness shake a bit.

Everyone looked at the center of the arena with shock wondering what is happening. Only Zhu Donglai, Zhu Jia Li and the elders of the Zhu clan got up in shock and worry, and looked at the center of the arena.

Suddenly someone flew out from inside of the smoke and hit the side of the arena and fell down fainted. The person was covered with blood and long gash was in his chest like claw marks which was deep; one could see his white bones clearly.

They looked closely and realized it was Zhu Lang who was in this terrible situation.

Everyone was shocked. Zhu Donglai and elder He Shan jumped down from the stage and reached Zhu Lang, and Meng He Shan put a pill on his mouth and helped him dissolve the pill.

Zhu Lang slowly opened his eyes in a few mments; he tried to sit up but unable to do it. He felt like all his bones are broken from that single attack and he looked at the stage. He thought back to how Zhu Xuan formed a huge claw from black elemental Qi and attacked him with a single claw attack and made him fly out without control. He shivered in fear remembering the eyes of Zhu Xuan.

Noticing Zhu Lang looking at the arena with fear, Zhu Donglai and Meng He Shan also looked at the arena.

Zhu Donglai's face looked at the arena with a complicated face and he looked like he already know what was about to happen and he made a decision. Everyone else also looked at the arena. Smoke slowly cleared and Zhu Xuan was already back in the floor of the arena and his silver hair slowly changed back and his blood red eyes also turned back to normal in front of the crowd.

But everyone who saw this scene was shocked, whereas the clan leaders and elders were terrified.

Meng He Shan stood up in shock and he reeled back in absolute terror and stuttered one name repeatedly "Silver Shadow"
