50 Chapter 50 – Dare to Fight Second brother?

Although Fang Wu Yao was angry for how Fang Liang acted and how Zhu Xuan ignored him and attacked to kill Fang Liang, he couldn't show it because everything happened in presence of the crowd. He can only lower his head for now.

Zhu Xuan also completely calmed down. He looked at Fang Wu Yao and Fang Liang; it looked like Fang Wu Yao was not behind this action. He thought why Fang Liang wanted to kill him and only one person came to his mind; he turned around and looked at Zhu Lang sitting in his seat like nothing happened. He still didn't understood why Fang Liang would listen to Zhu Lang ruining his future in the presence of the crowd and the envoy from Lei Shu academy.

His eyes became sharp and a cold glint filled with killing intent towards Zhu Lang. But he quickly calmed down and walked down the arena towards Zhu Jia Li and Zhu Meiying waiting below the arena with worry. He calmed them down and returned back to his seat in the side of the arena.

Fang Wu Yao also took the injured Fang Liang down the arena to get his injuries treated.

After everyone calmed down, Meng He Shan loudly announced "Fang Liang broke the rules of the arena and tried to kill his opponent. He is disqualified from the selection and not allowed to enter selections for five years. Continue the next match"

He sat back and asked the referee to continue with the battle. But Zhu Lang, next to him suddenly spoke loudly "Elder He Shan, I don't think this is right."

Everyone looked over at Zhu Lang curiously about what he is going to say; Meng He Shan also turned towards him and asked "Young master Zhu Lang, May I know what is not right?"

Zhu Lang calmly replied "You are right about punishing Fang Liang for trying to kill my Eighth brother, but he also attacked Fang Liang and heavily injured him which is against the rules. Even though he is my brother, we should be impartial and follow the rules of the Lei Shu Academy and disqualify him from the selections."

Even though his words sounded righteous, everyone can see that Zhu Lang is trying to make Zhu Xuan's life miserable and not let him enter the academy.

Zhu Xuan dind't think much and thought "Looks like he already anticipated the possibility of me defeating him and made this move to let me not able to enter Lei Shu academy. But I don't understand how he is so confident that I will be disqualified after revealing three elemental roots. Anyway, I need to be careful of him in the future."

But Meng He Shan's response caught him off guard. Meng He Shan loudly said "You are correct, it was my negligence Young master Zhu Lang. Zhu Xuan also heavily injured his opponent; it was against his rules and he is disqualified from the selections and not allowed to enter the selections for next five years."

Everyone was shocked after hearing Meng He Shan's verdict, and couldn't believe he listened to Zhu Lang and disqualified Zhu Xuan.

Zhu Jia Li and Zhu Meiying immediately stood up to voice their opponents, but someone else protested loudly before them.

Bai Ling loudly said "Elder Meng Le Shan, it was Fang Liang who tried to kill Young master Zhu Xuan, he wouldn't have retaliated and heavily injured Fang Liang if not for that. Is he supposed to let him…"

But before she could continue, Meng He Shan looked at her and released his killing intent. Bai Ling staggered back and before she could fall down, Bai Wuji moved in front of Bai Ling and blocked her from Meng He Shan.

Clan leaders and elders present were already dissatisfied by Meng He Shan's arrogant attitude and him siding with Zhu Lang, but now he released his killing intent against the daughter of clan leader of Bai clan for speaking out. He is too unbridled in his actions, and he can do the same to other clan disciples too.

So the clan leaders also voiced their protest and said "Elder He Shan, you can't use your position to do whatever you want in the selections, listening to some clan members suggestion."

Even though they don't want to anger someone from Lei Shu Academy, they were not soft people. They are not afraid of Elder He Shan, who is at the same cultivation level as them.

But they still couldn't understand why an inner sect elder came to Qinglu city for the selections. Normally, it should be an outer court elder that should be in charge of the selections. Or is there any other reason behind an inner court elder coming to Qinglu city.

One of the clan leader asked "May I know is there any other reason behind the selections for an inner sect elder to come to our Qinglu city?"

Before he could reply, Zhu Jia Li who was looking at everything asked loudly "Elder He Shan, I have heard Lei Shu academy act just and don't discriminate between disciples."

She pointed her fingers at Zhu Lang and asked "But as an inner sect elder, you listened to an outer sect disciple and disqualified Zhu Xuan. I understand you have the qualifications to decide the final results of selections, but what qualification does he have to make the decision of the disciples in selection?"

Zhu Jia Li was truly angered this time. She has known about previous actions of Zhu Lang trying various means to harm Zhu Xuan. She has been patient and didn't seek justice because Zhu Xuan was fine and also he will be soon going to the academy, also she was hesitating because Zhu Lang is also her brother's son just like Zhu Xuan. But his current actions really disappointed and angered her.

Meng He Shan snorted in anger and announced loudly "Zhu Lang has become the disciple of the third core elder of Main sanctuary and became the core disciple of Lei Shu academy. I'm here mainly to take care of his safety other than for the selections."

He paused and looked a the shocked face of the crowd and continued in his arrogant tone "And he has every right to disqualify disciples as a core disciple from the selections. Even if you are his aunt you have no qualifications to question his decision."

The crowd was stunned at the news that Zhu Lang became a core disciple of main sanctuary of Lei Shu academy. Zhu Jia Li also didn't know what to do, looking at Zhu Lang still sitting with a smug look on his face and turned around to look at Zhu Xuan who is silent all this while without making any noise. She is not sure what he was thinking and is worried about him.

Zhu Xuan was calmly observing everything and now understood things have become complicated. He didn't expect Zhu Lang became a core disciple and now he understood why Fang Laing tried to kill him; Zhu Lang must have promised him something Fang Laing couldn't get from Lei Shu academy using his position.

He couldn't help but laugh out loud at his naive thinking. Everyone looked towards the direction of the laugh and found it was Zhu Xuan who was laughing loudly.

Zhu Xuan stopped laughing after a few moments and looked at Zhu Lang. He knew he can't get into Lei Shu academy normally and he couldn't let go as Zhu Lang has been stopping him at every side and want to teach him a lesson and also thought if he could defeat Zhu Lang who was a core disciple he might have a chance.

He pointed a sword formed by his fire Qi at Zhu Lang and roared "Dared to fight me Second brother? Or is it a core disciple of Lei Shu academy afraid of a challenge from someone who was not even qualified in the selections?"
