43 Chapter 43 – Seclusion

Profound fruits are formed over many years from pure elemental sources.

They form the outer layers first with elemental law and then the insides are filled with more profound elemental laws as time pass by. Once the insides were completely formed with elemental laws, the fruits are called Absolute Profound fruits or simply Profound fruits, and the fruits which are still forming elemental laws inside them are called Profound Void fruits.

When Zhu Xuan injected his Fire Qi, it was blocked only for few moments by the outer layer of the fruit and then the Qi easily entered inside the fruit and he confirmed it's a low level Fire Profound Void fruit.

He sighed with disappointment "I was expecting a complete Fire Profound Fruit since the tree was already dying and i thought it must have started forming this fruit long time ago, but didn't expect it was a newly formed fruit."

He looked at the fruit and said to himself "Anyway I can't take this fruit now. I will consume it when I reach the peak of Body purification stage. It will help me to lay foundations for my understanding of fire elemental Law in Qi Gathering stage"

"Let me first use these fire demon beast cores to reach completion in my fire elements concept. After that, I should continue my practice on wind, water and fire element techniques to reach perfection realm on all three elements. If I concentrate on all seven elements, I won't be able to perfect any of the elemental techniques by the time of selections and can't reach the top. I also have to breakthrough to tenth meridian level of body purification before the selections."

Zhu Xuan cleared his thoughts once he made a plan for himself until the selections and entered secluded cultivation.

Days went by like passing clouds and now its only two days away from the selections for Lei Shu Academy.

In the Zhu clan, on the top floor of Alchemy pavilion, Zhu Jia Li was walking back and forth in anxiety. She was talking to herself "Where did Little Xuan go off to and why isn't he still back yet?"

She turned towards Zhu Meiying who was standing nearby and asked "Little Meiying, Did they search properly within the valley for Little Xuan?"

Zhu Meiying replied "Yes Aunt Jia Li, after the commotion caused by that variant demon beast sparrow ended, they have been searching all over the valley but unable to find any trace of Eighth brother. He must have left after a while and that's why we couldn't find him inside the valley."

Even though she said that, both thought of another possibility but chose to not accept it and hoped that he is fine and were out training somewhere.

More than a month ago, suddenly a variant Gold Fire Swift sparrow which was at Mid level Qi gathering stage attacked and killed people in the herb garden of the Zhu clan, and started harassing them every day. Zhu clan's elders have to intervene personally, and only after injuring it heavily it escaped and didn't come again to bother them.

What worried Zhu Jia Li and Zhu Meiying was the timing of the attack of the variant demon beast coincided with the time Zhu Xuan went to train deep inside the valley, and they are almost sure that he is the reason for its attack. So they sent people to look for Zhu Xuan once everything calmed down in the valley, but they still couldn't find him.

Aunt Jia Li sighed with a worry filled face and looked towards the direction of the Dark Winds valley.

At the same time, in a cave deep inside the Dark Winds valley, Zhu Xuan opened his eyes and released an extraordinary aura from his body. He finally reached tenth stage of Body purification stage.

His blood started seething with excitement and run through his body with extra vigour. The first meridian he purified was associated with his heart and his blood got pumped faster after purifying the meridian; he felt great and his body became stronger.

He calmed down and started thinking "It's time to go back since I already reached the tenth stage of body purification. And thanks to my second mission from the Origin system, I was able to gain lots of battle experience and reach perfection in Wind, Water and Fire elemental techniques."

In this period of his secluded meditation, he received another mission from Origin system to destroy an underground organization developed by a wealthy family near a city.

Only after checking this underground organization for a couple of days did he realise, they are the same as bandits he destroyed in his first mission. They practiced same techniques and captured people from the city with the help of the wealthy family for experimenting with the techniques.

He realised the Origin system is not giving any random missions, but mission with a goal behind it which he is unable to realise with his current knowledge.

He didn't have a hard time finishing this mission like the first mission. Everything went smoothly like it was just a practice for perfecting his techniques. The only time he had a hard time in the mission was when he had a battle with one of the leaders from the underground organization.

She was a woman who practiced spirit energy, and he didn't have any way to defend against the attack to his mind and soul directly. Thankfully, he had a strong mind and soul because of his transmigration form another world, and he didn't lose consciousness or became mad in the middle of the battle. He used long range attacks to injure her and finally beheaded her after a long and hard battle.

After destroying the underground organization, he rescued the people and exposed the wealthy family that was working with the organization to the entire city, with full proof about their abductions and experiments.

Once he settled everything about the mission, he tried to find where he was from asking around in the city and ended up disappointed. He learned that this kingdom is called Phoenix Mountain Kingdom and no one has ever heard of Qinglu city or Lei Shu Kingdom in this city.

But he was surprised to learn Heavenly Giants Kingdom is under the same Dynasty as Phoenix Mountain Kingdom, and it will take four months to reach Heavenly giants Kingdom from this kingdom.

Once he learnt all he could, he ended his mission with excitement for receiving his first reward from the Origin system.

Shen Long congratulated Zhu Xuan and gave him a list of ten items, and asked him to choose one of the items among them as his reward. Zhu Xuan checked all of them and finally chose a pill recipe for a pill called Realm Breaking Pill.

Realm breaking pill is a long last rare pill which will enlarge your meridians for a short time to help you absorb more elemental Qi, and you will be able to fight against cultivators levels higher than you.

For example, Zhu Xuan with his current strength can fight and kill peak stage body purification stage cultivator easily. And when it comes to Initial level Qi gathering stage cultivator, he can only face them and escape from them. But if he takes Realm breaking pill, he will be able to fight and kill them, even fight evenly with the normal Mid-level Qi gathering stage cultivators.

But the downside of the pill is, due to the enlargement and overuse of your meridians, they will be heavily damaged after the battle and the cultivator needs to be bedridden for an entire month.

Zhu Xuan chose this pill recipe as a reward because he felt it would be a good trump card for him if he had to face cultivators who are too strong. Though he got the pill recipe, he didn't have the necessary material to concoct the pill and he decided to wait until he gets back to the clan before concocting this pill.

He came back to reality from his thoughts and stood up. He was covered with a layer of dust and it flew off when he got up. He left the cave, cleaned himself in the waterfall nearby and changed into new clothes.

He looked around with a smile on his face and started moving outside the Dark Winds valley towards the direction of Qinglu city.
