32 Chapter 32 – Blood Claw
After he broke through, he waited for the storm to subside.
He felt he understood more about wind element when he saw the tornado in the distance and he started observing it carefully. He felt his understanding of the wind was close yet far away. He felt bad that he didn't have any recipe to create poisons and if he had, he could kill most of them just by poisoning their food. Anyway he decided to find all the poisonous herbs he could, and mix all of them in the food.
He felt like he is more suited for assassination, especially with his body transformation technique and knowledge of alchemy. He clearly understood he can't directly fight all 1000 bandits by himself, and he had to use any method he could think of to kill all the bandits.
He finally reached the stronghold by the sunset and entered through the cave without any trouble using his body transformation technique.

The man in the high seat is the commander of the bandits, Blood claw. He was a burly middle aged man twice the size of normal people with ripped muscles, and his face looked ferocious with a long scar mark diagonally on his face. And the man sitting in the side seat was the last leader Tiger claw, he looked like a skinny fair scholar, but when one observed him closely they could see his eyes exude a sinister aura.
Blood claw was tapping his hand at the stone seat, thinking. After a few moments, he spoke with a hard voice "Tiger, I keep feeling there is something wrong going on with our plan, and we haven't heard anything from Wolf in six days. Moreover Eagle and Lion also should have reached by now but no sign of them and their scouts. What do you think we should do?"
Tiger claw spoke with a raspy voice "I also believe something happened to Wolf claw. But, Lion claw and Eagle claw may have been delayed and was not able to send anyone possibly due to the storm yesterday."
He paused and continued "But I believe there is an enemy we don't know of who killed Wolf claw and it's better to be safe. I suggest we send few scouts to the direction of all three leaders to find out what is going on, and also send more of our people surrounding the mountain and increase the patrol."
Blood claw was satisfied with Tiger claw's suggestion "Okay Tiger, get onto it and also send more people for a tight patrol and form a blockade so that no one can sneak into the mountain until we know of the situation of the other three leaders. We are close to succeeding in our plan and within a month we will see good results, so I don't want any mishap happening within these days."
Tiger claw acknowledged and left the hall to make the arrangements. Blood claw was still tapping his finger on the stone seat and thinking "I still feel like I'm missing something out and couldn't shake the bad feeling. I hope nothing bad happens when we are close to success."
Under Tiger claw's order, about 500 people went out of the stronghold to form a blockade around the mountain and patrol day and night to avoid anyone from sneaking inside the stronghold. Little did they know, someone had already entered the stronghold without their knowledge.
Zhu Xuan was ecstatic and felt that god is helping him when he heard about the new orders from Tiger claw. One thing he was worried about his plan was the number of bandits in the stronghold. He is planning to poison all the bandits using the poisonous herbs he collected, but he wasn't sure how effective the poison would be. He was worried if it didn't affect them much, they will be able to provide back up and flood him with attacks from all direction and he would die a miserable death.
Now that most of the bandits will be outside the stronghold patrolling the mountains, even if they didn't die by poison they won't be able to come for help when he attacked the leader and the commander.
Evening came, and Zhu Xuan disguised himself as a cook and went to the place where food was prepared for the bandits with the poison he made using the herbs. He silently mixed the poison with the food served for the bandits, but he found that the food for the leaders and commander was prepared by the head cook of the stronghold and delivered seperately.
So he immediately left the place and hid himself, waiting for the person who deliver the food to the leader and commander. He waited for a while when the person approached with the food. He knocked the guy unconscious and then disguised himself as that person and poisoned the food. Then he delivered the food to the maids of both the leader and commander, and hid himself in the shadow of a pillar near the entrance of the Tiger claw Leader.
He figured both the leader and commander will definitely realise they have been poisoned before others, and they would have some pills for recovering from poison. His plan was to sneak attack and kill the Tiger claw when he will rush to the commander's place. Zhu Xuan figured Tiger claw will definitely go to the commander's place when he realise someone poisoned their food to inform the commander and make preparations for any enemy attack.
He waited patiently, and after it took a time of an incense stick to burn, the door of the house opened and Tiger claw rushed out with a pale face. He was rushing towards the direction of commander's place when Zhu Xuan dashed towards Tiger claw and brought the dagger towards his neck.
Tiger claw was already expecting a possible sneak attack and immediately side stepped to retreat. But Zhu Xuan brought his other dagger and slashed in an arc and Tiger claw's hand was cut off and fell in the floor.
Tiger claw screamed in pain and backed off, but then he suddenly roared in a loud voice "Enemy attack, someone infiltrated the stronghold. Come to my place fast and kill the enemy."
Zhu Xuan was shocked after hearing his loud voice and cursed under his breath. He didn't expect this Tiger claw to be a clever and cunning guy.
Tiger claw realised he couldn't face the guy after his hand severed so he didn't even bother asking any questions of his assailant and immediately shouted to inform everyone of the enemy attack.
Zhu Xuan increased his speed to kill Tiger claw before anyone arrives, but Tiger claw didn't attack at all, he focused in defence and dodging, and only suffered minor injuries by Zhu Xuan. While Zhu Xuan was attacking Tiger claw with frenzy, he heard a loud boom on the side and turned to find a big burly man running towards him with face full of anger like a mad dragon.
Not only was he, even Tiger claw was momentarily distracted by the loud noise. Using this chance, he delivered a kick to the Tiger claw; tiger claw flew away with his ribs broken. Making sure Tiger claw won't be able to interfere, he turned towards the rushing Blood claw.
Blood claw saw Zhu Xuan injuring Tiger claw right in front of him and shouted in anger "How dare you infiltrate my place and injure my men".
He increased his speed as he shouted and Zhu Xuan also moved towards Blood claw with a dagger on each hand.
Both Blood claw and Zhu Xuan rushed towards each other like two raging dragons.
