29 Chapter 29 – Divide and Conquer

While the rest of the bandits were scared, Wolf claw was livid with anger.

"How dare they mock our Blood claw, search the entire village and kill everyone you find." He shouted in anger and charged into the village.

The other bandits also charged after Wolf claw and split into smaller groups of six in different directions, Zhu Xuan among one of the groups.

As soon as his group was out of sight of other groups, he attacked without hesitation telling himself "All is Set".

Second part of the plan by Zhu Xuan also went exactly as he wanted. He put all the heads on pole in front of the village to scare the bandits, and to make Wolf claw angry and wanted to kill the young man as soon as possible. And in anger, Zhu Xuan believed Wolf claw will divide his group into many to catch the person who killed the bandits as soon as possible, and it went just as he planned.

In a few seconds, everyone on the group was killed without even able to unsheathe their weapons. It was easy for him to kill them from within the group, where no one was expecting to be attacked. He stopped after killing and said to himself while moving to where the other group went "On to the next group."

Zhu Xuan avoided Wolf claw's group who went to the centre of the village and started killing all the other group. Within few minutes, most of the groups were routed and killed by him. When there were only three groups left, including Wolf claw's group, there was signal from the centre of the village for the bandits to assemble, and the remaining groups started moving towards there. Zhu Xuan realised Wolf claw had already found out about the killing. He changed back to himself and also started moving towards the centre of the village.

As Zhu Xuan guessed, Wolf claw realised from the smell of blood that there was someone killing his people. He was a bandit for a long time and experienced many things, so he soon figured someone was picking the group one by one while he was in the centre of the village. As a result, he immediately signalled everyone to assemble together in the centre of the village.

Zhu Xuan found one more group while moving towards where Wolf claw was, and started killing them while chasing. He killed the last person of that group when he almost reached the centre of the village in front of Wolf claw's group. They were enraged seeing one of their own people killed right in front of them.

Zhu Xuan looked ahead and found there were eleven people including Wolf claw remaining and he relaxed. Wolf claw is at the peak of the tenth stage and the rest are mostly at ninth and eighth stage of body purification.

Wolf claw asked with gritting teeth with full of killing intent "Are you the one who killed my people and put their heads outside the village?"

Zhu Xuan calmly answered with a cold smile while walking towards the group "Yes, and don't expect any more of your people to come here, they are already dead."

As he said that, Zhu Xuan suddenly moved fast towards the Wolf claw, planning to kill him in a single move. He believed everything went as planned and everything is under his control, but he will soon realise that he should always be prepared for some unexpected occurrence.

As soon as Zhu Xuan moved, Wolf claw also moved. He side stepped, his hand bulged and formed a claw and he directed his hand towards Zhu Xuan's abdomen directly to rip it off. Zhu Xuan realised he was going to get attacked and changed his sword direction to attack Wolf claw immediately. But, Wolf claw suddenly retreated in a fast speed and gained distance.

Zhu Xuan was troubled when he realised Wolf claw also practiced Wind element movement technique and his speed was equal to Zhu Xuan. Immediately he made his decision to kill others before fighting Wolf claw and started attacking others. He moved like a ghost towards two people opposite side of where Wolf claw moved, and sliced them in two with a single strike before they could react.

Wolf claw understood Zhu Xuan's plan and moved fast towards him with both his hands bulged, and attacked before he could kill anymore of his people.

He formed a claw and attacked towards Zhu Xuan's abdomen again, and Zhu Xuan also moved the sword towards his head like last time. But instead of retreating, Wolf claw brought his other hand up and faced the incoming sword with his bare hands. Zhu Xuan thought Wolf claw was going for mutual injury, but he was confident he can attack faster with his water element sword technique and injure Wolf claw.

But when the sword touched Wolf claw's hand, a clang sound was heard, like two metals are clashing and it only left a white mark in his hand. When Zhu Xuan heard the sound, he know something was wrong and immediately turned his body a little and retreated. Even though he acted fast, the cloth was ripped with a wound on his abdomen like claw marks and blood was dripping from them.

Thankfully he reacted fast and he had covered himself with a layer of Earth element Qi defence, or else a chunk of flesh would have been ripped off from his body. He used his wind element and retreated to gain distance between the group and him.

He looked again at the hand of the Wolf claw where only a white mark was left and then at the sword in his hand where the place where the sword came in contact with Wolf claw's hand was chipped. He was shocked and wondered "What kind of technique is this? I have never heard of such a technique which will improve your body physique to such an extent. Even the cultivators who activated the physical Qi roots can't improve their strength to the extent of standing against the sword with bare hands and damaging it."

He didn't waste any time and made a decision, he suddenly turned around and ran towards the entrance of the village.

Zhu Xuan is not running away. He is running towards a house near the entrance of the village where he hid his Twin dragons. He believed if normal sword can't injure Wolf claw, then Twin dragons made by the same material used for creating dragon pendant will definitely injure him.

Whereas, Wolf claw thought Zhu Xuan was escaping and shouted in anger "Chase after him" and the whole group went after Zhu Xuan.

While he was dodging their frantic attacks, he suddenly turned and threw the sword in his hand at one of the people with all his strength. Wolf claw moved fast to block the sword from killing another one of his people, but what he didn't expect was Zhu Xuan forming two Qi Spear in each hand using fire element and throwing it at the two weakest people among the group.

The two bandits was shocked and tried to avoid, but one was stabbed in his heart and was killed immediately, and the other one avoided the kill, but was still got one of his hands were ripped off of his body and flew back from the impact while bleeding heavily. Everyone stopped there in shock, and using that moment of their shock, Zhu Xuan gained the distance, reached the house and entered it.

Wolf claw was also stopped in shock and anger, and he felt humiliated that he couldn't stop the other person from killing his own men while he is running away. He became furious and charged towards the house Zhu Xuan went into like a mad man.

But before he could reach the house, Zhu Xuan charged out of the house like a rocket with a black sword in his hand.

He moved fast towards Wolf claw and made a slash towards one of Wolf claw's hand. Wolf claw wasn't afraid of the sword which was the biggest mistake of his life. He used a hand to block the sword, while the other hand went straight for Zhu Xuan's head to smash his head.

Zhu Xuan slightly turned his head and at the same time, the sword suddenly changed direction like a snake, and sliced half his hand like it was a tofu, and the hand fell to the ground.

Wolf claw reeled back in shock and pain with eyes full of disbelief. Zhu Xuan charged fast towards the falling Wolf claw and sliced his neck. Wolf claw was dead before his body hit the ground. Zhu Xuan steadied himself and looked towards the remaining people standing in the distance watching him with shock and absolute terror.

Zhu Xuan lifted his sword, and charged straight at the bandits while speaking in a cold voice "It's your turn."
